Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. I never see anyone mention that, but I love love love that moment. Rebecca's complete surprise at Ted's forgiveness is an important beat. Her complete shock at his forgiveness shows us that she resolved to tell him with the full expectation that it would cost her his respect and friendship, and she did it anyway because she felt she owed it to him. In two words, it shows that she was willing to give up something that meant a lot to her because of how much she had grown to care for him.
Oh please more Ted Lasso ones! Would love to see some of the more emotional moments like Roy hugging Jamie, Roy last game, Ted talking about what happened to his father, "Fck you" scene, the team gathering the "believe" sign
This scene is perfect because we expect Ted to be upset and to (politely) tell her off. He may be optimistic and kind, but he is still human. And then the moment he says "I forgive you" we know there is no other way it could have gone. Of course he forgives her, to do anything else would be anathema to the character this show has developed so well.
its the fact that the show so beautifully broke the mould of a drama show with this. the slow build up of a spiralling secret that comes to a head near the end of the series but instead of it becoming a massive thing the main character just immediately and sincerely forgives the other, they make good and move on as closer friends in the space of minutes, no confusion, no mixed messages just wham, I get it, we're ok, it's all love.
It always bothered me she didn't confess and apologize to team and Jamie. She tried to destroy thier careers. Ted doesn't get to forgive her on thoer behalf that should be thier choice.

This has always been just such a good example of a genuinely sincere apology.
The incredulous "What? Why?" gets me every time.
Probably why she won the Emmy

Right!!!!
I think was the moment Ted Lasso went from a good show to a great one. THIS was exactly what we needed.
The acting in this scene was so F***ING GOOD!!!
probably the reason she won the Emmy that year

Forgiveness is such a beautiful gift to be given. We all screw up.

Such a good scene. Most heartwarming show that isn’t sappy.
A perfect example of showing the world more understanding then judgement
He knew as soon as she said “ all you good people”
Yep. Anyone can say that they're sorry, the truly sorry bother to care about why.
The fact that he was going through the same thing makes forgiveness that much easier.
Be like Ted.
The world will be a better place !! ❤
Pretty sure Ted has to be related to Fred Rogers.
I love this fucking show so much, it's the anti CW show, everything a CW show does this show does the exact opposite, so refreshing.
Keep bring the Lasso clips please
It’s nice to see Rebecca apologize to Ted.
Man I wish everyone was like Ted... 😢
Be the Ted in your life.
@@BlamBlamTheMonkey very true
