Syntac lemme fill you in on what happend to pixark. Some you might know, some you might not. -armor and saddle nerf (good luck vs anything) -stats effectiveness boosted by 25% -nerfed the wands unnatural damage -spring boots finally reduce fall damage, iron spring boots let you fall around 20 blocks. there's alot more that happend but those are some major things that answers your questions aswell. As for weapons, frost spears are advised, they deal same like 200% iron spear. The gryphon fits in a normal beast gate, has high damage but speed is lacking, so watch out when trying to kill gryphons, but will easily kill a dragon aslong you avoid the fire. Also one bronto aint a problem for a gryphon, 2 is a hassle, 3 is death probably. STAY CLEAR FROM SPORESHROOMS, RUN AT SIGHT WITH ANYTHING! (even if you kill it, any creature dies from it after getting hit) About that rex, the water elemental will not kill it, go tame it before it wanders in the doomlands and get ganged on or falls in lava If you're looking for high power output on weapons, get into magic. it requires the least of resources and the easiest to get resources (gem spiders and megarockdragons) Fly into the golden realms and go inside a cave, your gryphon will easily kill megarocks seeing they flee when attacked. Earth magic hits the hardest, fire damage second with a tick(tick does most of the damage so can't spam like earth and doesn't work on bosses) wind knocks back slightly but not much damage, dark slows when hit (need clear sky aswell for lightning), lightning adds torpor and deals moderate damage (can knock bronto's when almost killing) light will heal you slightly over time, water gives frost effect (frost effect is just a slow effect and think slightly increases water damage) so earth is adviced but it's easy to hit yourself with too.
Happy to see more Pixark lad. I know what you mean about the game being very frustrating. But IMO the dungeons are the best thing about it - if you can get the guys together, or even just prepare with lots of gear. The dungeons are brutal and totally worth it in terms of loot. And when you’re too OP for desert temples, just move up a tier to different biomes.
I would like to see more pixark! just started myself on a random server and had a tough time figuring things out. it seems like the game has a lot of potential to grow.
Think about this for a moment: Two creatures from the starter biome: The pteranodon- a useful tame, fast has it’s use even when close to late game. The coyote- a useless tame, slow, squishy and skippable...
As for difficulty curve.. and where should that be in ark? Most creatures there can also be very easily trapped, you would be able to tame nearly all creatures already within the first few days of playing.^^
I have multiple lvl 80 characters on multiple official servers. Got armies of dragons, full ascendant steel bone gear, etc. Less than 2 weeks of work. To get to that level in ark, it would take months on end if you’re lucky. It’s not very rewarding like ark. No taming effectiveness, no breeding, no mutations, nothing to do once you’re strong. Then raiding is also broken. Until you’re steel, you’re useless, but once you’re steel, it’s boring. There’s no middle ground. Now with the nerf to gargoyles, getting to that level will be significantly harder, so I may have to re-evaluate after some time but as of right now the game is just buggy and boring after a few days, especially with the people that exploit bugs to get lvl 80 in a day then fly around on fast mounts to see through the world and wipe people that don’t cheat like them.
Also, normal weapons seem ridiculously weak in comparison to all the magic stuff. Spears and pikes in particular SUCK right now which makes me sad. I’d look into getting an apprentice/master wand to cast spells using magic essence as ammo. it does so much more damage than guns and you can heal yourself crazy fast.
I'm waiting for the PvE type bug fixes for the game. It's a great game with great potential, but it's not quite where I'd like it to be yet. I can wait for this one.

I think this game got boring quickly because its 50% Minecraft 50% ark and youve played these two games A LOT, so its nothing really new to you. (I assume youve played a lot of MC)

Pixark seems like it's in dire need of modding to make it as enjoyable to play as Ark.
When your gryphon needs to poop and it's on the ground then it does that animation it did when you got the green drop.
