DMX for the Basement - Chauvet DJ DMX-4 and ADJ myDMX-RM

I wanted more control over the lighting in my basement "studio", and decided to invest in a few dimmer/switch packs as well as a USB rack-mount #DMX controller.

If you click "more information" on the smart screen alert in Win10 it will give you the option to run anyway, without having to disable windows defender.

Ok, just got to the end of the video, replace the chauvet units with elation or adj dimmer boxes and get a chauvet show xpress or soundswitch for control. The dimmer boxes are not meant for the purpose you are using them for, they are ment to dim house/ stage spotlights with no dmx built in

You probably need to add a DMX terminator so the last box will work properly.

ADJ is one of the best lighting manufacturers out there, yeah they dont have good software or control hardware but thier lighting is top tier! If i were to suggest a control solution id suggest a Chauvet SHOWXPRESS rackmount

windows will do that for most things downloaded online and also its not malware.
