- In this video, I review the Kunwu Padre titanium frame lock pocket knife. I talk about it’s brilliant fit and finish. I talk about the overall attention to detail from the working stonewash finish that covers the whole knife, to the amazingly crafted, titanium handles. Speaking of the titanium, they are milled with a deep diamond texture, and they have heavy contouring that makes the knife melt in your hand . The ergonomics of this knife are sublime. Also the useful shape of the blade lends to a master of any task. If it’s cutting through boxes or food prep. Even heavy task are going to be a breeze due to it’s basically stainproof steel that has a good toughness. With amazing little details like the expertly milled pocket clip to the exotic timascus pivot collar. This knife is a greatest hits of the best of all time. A little Spyderco and Hinderer. A bit of Vox and Anzo.
From action to fidgeting to ergonomics to cutting to special feeling. This is easily one of the most spectacular knives I’ve ever owned and I can’t wait to see what is next from Kunwu

Me too I still haven't received My satin Padre from the Pre-order and all I get Is next in email I got a tracking number but that wad days ago its shipping from Queens NY I thought it would ship from china. Have you guys received you're Padre ?

Thank you for your thoughts. I own 6 kunwu knives. Love my carbon fiber Chad. I was very concerned about the weight. This issue has now been addressed. I will be ordering mine in the morning for September's landscaping season. Yep. Another user. Kunwus fit and finish is first rate. I like the specialty steels but the correct heat treat sets this company apart. I dont even have to pre pay months in advance like the others. Though i do love their kickstarter deals. Yes Kunwu delivers and leaves me feeling good about my purchases. Make sure you follow thier shipping directions to avoid any problems.
What problems to look out for?
@@Canadaman4403 Always make sure you're shipping address is correct double check they say and make sure you give the correct phone number they say.and correct email again they told me. i received both satin version and reverse tux but reverse tux I found one never opened still had shrink wrap around it on eBay for $400. but it was worth it to me because I received it in four days. Sorry for the rant but I hate when someone never answers me so I called Kunwu and this is what his comment meant.

@@sterlingstoots3215 yes I got it on March 25th. Best knife in my collection. I got more expensive knives in my collection but this is my favorite. I have 2 Padres now, I also have the reverse tux. Now thinking of getting the stonewashed or satin. They’re amazing.

Damn I ordered mine yesterday from BHQ and I’m so stoked to get it! I’ve had multiple evo 2s and a couple 3s and I wanted them to be front flippers. I’m expecting high hopes for this one! It looks amazing!! Is it a flat grind on the blade? Those 2.0s were a slicing machine so I’m expecting this one to be a slicing machine! And looking in Tennessee I rust m390 and every other streak except vanax super clean and magnacut so getting this in vanax super clean in just amazing and the heat treat being 60 to 62 is a “chefs kiss”!!!
Just ordered one, thanks for showing it. Looks similar to a CKF Evo 2.0. I want one to actually carry, I only carry my Evo 3.0 on special occasions, my grail knives don't get much pocket time. Now I'm concerned this will be another grail, lol!

That’s not too surprising, if he has a large collection and some everyday nice knives like a Seb, Hinderer, Spyderco, or Reate. Then he might have the Oz or EVO or another custom he only carries for special days.
I collect pocket knives just like some people collect baseball cards, comic books, or watches. The top tier of my collection is more of an investment, so yeah they sit in one of my display cases.@@edsaban572
I have this coming the end of the month, an EVO 4.0 coming this year, and just got the Microtech Stitch manual. Haha I definitely have a type 😂

I think all the Padres are sold out except secondary Market.the prices i have seen on the black Rec exclusive and The reverse tux are selling for close to $700 on ebay. I got a. Reverse tux and paid over but it was my choice ordered a satin Padre feb 3 still havent recieved my knife just email saying next week.

I have Heard this and seen it on Reddit that people lost there knives to customs in California and Connecticut. I hope you recover yours if you didn't receive it.

No. It’s grippy but not sharp or abrasive.
