Iflight sells the carbon top frame plate as well. Actually it's heavy for a real racer. Bi blades are a pain to tune. Very fast and stiff ones are the apc 5.1x5 props. Otherwiese the only other good ones are hq 5.1x4.5 I think the geprc racer might be the better alternative
Ive been wanting this drone for a long time, just havent pulled the trigger yet. All i have are heavier freestyle quads,or "racing" style 3 inch toothpicks. I have a 3" toothpick with 1207 5000kv on 4s. Its dumb. Really dumb. Took forever to tune on 4s.
I'm so over 5" ! Too noisy, attracts way, Way too much attention, and you need sooo much room to really fly a 5" drone. Fun, Yes! Practical, Not So Much. I live in the suburbs and the closest place to fly 5" is about 30 minutes drive from me. 3.5" or less can easily fly in close by parks that are a way better location to fly at than the 5" place, and 3 to 5 minutes from my house! 4 different great parks. Including the Best Park Eva! I haven't flown my 5" for about 3 years. I really prefer the smaller 3.5" or smaller. Even 2" are fun as all get out! 😎🤘
Feel like you should invest in some hd zero goggles and an analoge reciever. Id be interested in seeing content with that. As DJI goes more and more Apple walled garden i think alternatives become more appealing.
Ha! But HDZero doesn't even close close to the performance we get with DJI! If DJI is a 10, because, seriously nothing is better. Then Walksnail is a 6.5, maybe a 7. And HDZero, with it's almost exact same performance of analog, except sharper image quality, hence it's nickname of Analog2, HDZero is a 3. Analog would be a 2 or 2.5. HDZero is also by far the most expensive digital system with goggles costing $600 + $100 for antennas, as it doesn't come with them, + about $20 for a lipo, cuz that's extra too! Plus about $30 for the analog adapter for the side, if you wanna fly analog. Plus, of course, the analog module like Rapidfire for $160. And then, after spending SO DAMN MUCH, you get ALL the snow and flickering of analog, the same short range before it starts with the snow... About 30m, and if you're flying around objects, like trees, bushes, buildings, etc, you'll get more snow way sooner! Go watch J.Bardwells test comparing how far he can fly down his road. HDZero barely gets off of his property and as soon as he starts flying down the road, HDZero is done! Walksnail gets about halfway down the road and gets too pixelated to continue. Pretty far though... Probably 30 times as far as HDZero! DJI gets all the way to the end of the road with both Vista and 03! Twice or more as far as Walksnail. I can't calculate how many times as far as HDZero, probably 300 times as far, cuz HDZero is done so soon it's pathetic. DJI must get a mile or more down the road. This is flying about 3 meters from the ground. So, paying all that for so little improvement over plain ole analog, it's honestly.... RIDICULOUS! Gotta be the most you can spend to get the least improvement over analog. Good ole Analog2! Lol Gotta be why it only has about 10% market share...cuz it's so expensive for so little improvements. DJI has their Integra goggles for $349 all over the USA. Comes with antennas and a battery too! Ready to fly. DJI is also by far.... It's not even close.... It best in reliability and durability... both. The other systems burn out VTX's all the Friggin' time, especially HDZero! I know people who have replaced HDZero VTX's so often they finally said enough is enough and had to quit using HDZero completely! Cost them a small fortune!!! 💰💰💰💰💸 Walksnail has a problem with their new X goggles overheating. And from being in the electronics industry for over 35 years, I know overheating is THE WORST problem to have! It can, and often does, take the entire product down as it burns up! Nick Burns has already had his X goggles fail on him. HDZero and Walksnail have too many bugs and failures for me to spend my hard earned money on those formats! DJI is almost bulletproof it's so reliable and durable. Seriously, barely anyone has EVA had a failure of anything! 😎🤘

I have 4 03 quads, tried the naked fly lens 85 and was so disappointed in its size and performance I bought into HDzero. Buying into HDZero was the best decision I’ve made so far in FPV. Haven’t touched my DJI quads since I got them. Most of the points you made simply aren’t true. DJI still for sure is the simplest way to have a good experience when getting into fpv, but as you get further into it the limitations of DJI really shine through. I think all the systems have something great to offer, besides WS lol

To much blade surface area for those high pitch turd probs that probably cause to much vibration not allowing true high rpm's even . Try some APC speed props vs those garbage props. also make sure bi's are indeed balanced too.

They offer a mod to put a regular canopy with carbon fiber plates, but looks way worse, maybe a naked i3 will fit will check
That frame looks great. Would a 30 x 30 stack or a 25 x 25 aio and vtx fit under the canopy if I use an adapter? Thanks

The Master Airscrew props are stiff wide and high pitched, come in 3 blade. Try them out? I like them
