However, Mayor Castor said residents can still go out for essential trips. If you were to be stopped by an officer, no official paperwork is needed. All residents need to do is have a simple conversation with the officer.
Tampa has been a hotspot for protests since the riots of the 1960's. Could feel the frustration and violence in the air during those years. This whole country is in need of serious change!
I stayed at a couple of filthy, disgusting no tell motels around Hillsborough back in Feb, couldn't find a damn room anywhere, everything was booked, a stupid county fair and a concert, I swear there's never enough hotels here. Tampa is such a dump, if it wasn't for Mons Venus I wouldn't even bother.

they burned down a champs near the mall and the gas station accross the street from busch gardens...looted a jewelry store and a t and t on fowler
I would assume a good percentage of those outside in business areas are homeless? be thankful for a roof and bed tonight if you have these.

Tampa kept all it's old buildings. Lived there decades ago, it looks exactly the same. We used to hang out in old Lowery Park
Ehh, not the ones downtown. They razed so many during the 50s and 60s. Sad.

We recently did a OLD SEMINOLE HEIGHTS video that's nearby. North Tampa coming soon as well also nearby.
Quieter than where I live! Jesus. Id love to wait out the rest of the pandemic there, and even sweeter if it was South Tampa I could end up in.

the area just east of north 40th and south of hillsborough river got the most shootings in Tampa by far these days...bunch of apartments
That area and surrounding ones have been a problem since the 1960's riots happened.
