Thanks, glad you enjoyed it, I did experiment with a paint list at the end of the video at one point, moved to just putting them on screen as I was using the paints, as for time stamps I’ve no idea how to do that! I think you tube does them automatically for some videos nowadays?
what have you decided that your spikes are? I've seen some of your builds where they look white, and others where they look brown. Are they bone spikes/horns or wood protrusions?
I wouldn’t paint over the whole model as you may lose too much detail, I’d just do the edge detail in the retributor armour and then follow the rest, the big advantage of the metallic spray is time and the ‘rusty armour’ effect, you could replicate the rusty armour by painting on some scratches etc with retributor armour over the death guard green.
It’s usually better to slightly water down paints so it goes on smoother etc personally I always use a wet palette so that is taken care of and I don’t have to manually dilute very often. I use Vallejo and GW paints primarily.
I think I’d go with a dark purple from the body area and lead into full black at the ends, in terms of a black ooze I don’t know of a paint that would suit so I’d probably experiment with black paint mixed into a gloss varnish? Maybe into PVA could also work? Would have to mess about with a few things and see.
Beautifully painted! I’d give this video a 9/10, if you had time stamps and a paint list it would be a 1000/10

@ what varnish do you use?
Another excellent job 👍, these guys are my main work horses along with Typhus in my Death Guard army. They really are tough buggers!
Thanks again mate! I look forward to getting them on the table against some eldar 😉
Needs an icon with the Turin shroud being held aloft 😉 Great work, as always 💪
Double heresy!!
These are amazing brother. Just started DG, lots to paint, I’ll be using this as a guide.
Thanks and welcome to the Death Guard club!

Mostly bone but I do vary.
What if I’ve already sprayed them DG Green? What would you suggest? I have a pot a Retributor Armor- should I paint over them?

Hello, i'm a rookie. I wanna know if I need to dilute the pigment (Which kind of pigment need dilute). Thank you!

How would you do black tentacle and black ooze
