You’re gonna have to get a mineral block for the cow because I can’t eat straight alfalfa it blocks up their bowels will kill them

You need to get another 2 alpacas for your other alpaca. Alpacas are pack animals and very social animals that only consider other alpacas or llamas a pack member.
Hey Flair, remove the hose the tank when your done filling. Could possible create a siphon. Which will cause the tank to slowly drain.. I learned the hard way with my animals! Love the content!

For the cow and donkeys you need to keep an eye on there feet it is like a finger nail when they get long they have to be cut but it is not something you can do you would have to pay someone if it is not done for awhile it can lead to serious problems just giving you some pointers I have been a farmer all my life and am glad to give pointers on animal care love the vids keep it up

@@trevencritchfield1060 we run beef so we raise and sell but for long term keeping of animals it is good thing to do not 100% necessary but If not done can lead to animal issues
Treven Critchfield dairy cows in New Zealand are done monthly. We have 1300 cows and every day bring like 15 through. Any major issues get sorted then and there that can lead or have caused lameness

Quick tip: if you keep the water hose in the tank and then you close the water the hose will suck all the water (just like a straw) and the water will go back to the ground
exactly this. the hydrants are frost free and drain the water back into the ground when you turn the water off. I had this happen to me one as a kid. My parents were not happy when they found out that 100 gallons of water went to waste.

I’m probably a little late to make an impact but mini cows are supper social and loving and they get really lonely when theirs not two of them.
I have seen so many cows in my life but your cow is the cutest one I’ve ever seen. I love watching how excited you get while building your farm and livestock. It’s wonderful and brings back so many memories for me. I grew up on a Turkey ranch and we also had cattle, pigs, chickens, goats, a horse and a dog. Plus several other animals throughout the years.
Turkeys love Tomato Bugs 🐛 we had a huge garden and we’d go out in the evening and pick tomato bugs off the plants. Once we through one in the pen the turkey that got it would run off with hundreds of other turkeys chasing it. In the end after we through all the bugs in the pen we had turkey running everywhere.

One thing we use to do on our hobby farm was we slabed the hay bale. So we would spred it over about 10 yards to they wernt so close when they eat

The water was siphoned back down the hose since your hose was left in the tub look at the water level compared to end of hose
The cow needs minerals not just hay and when it starts getting big horns with the one donkey being a little aggressive the cow will kill it so the best animal with the cow is the sheep

You always have to get at least 2 animals of every species you want to have. A cow isn’t talking donkey or goat, same with the alpaca. But at least they are not alone at all and you take good care on them🙏🏻

I have a dugout/pond for my cows. And due to the fact that cows aren’t picky eaters you can wait to build a feeder, the cow will also use hay as bedding.
