It’s an unfortunate byproduct of late stage capitalism. Identity is synonymous with appearance. Our highest value is projection because people don’t have a solid sense of self which is developed over time through character. People have been conditioned to see themselves as a commodity which needs to be valued by others rather than self. So if appearance is key to identity, what is most important in our culture is using that appearance to garner approval or at least attention.
Capitalism has little to do with it.
Postmodernism has everything to do with it

Yah, I don't really know what the value of being a women is other then exterior things and helpping others.
The value of a woman is being a woman, not a man. A woman has the ability to bring a new life into this world. A man cannot. Feminine energy is caring, nurturing, beauty as apposed to male energy which is providing and protecting.
The best part is that the woman completes the male in what is necessary to build a family.
Helping others is a good start. Women are more vulnerable and weaker phsyically than men so thats a huge part of it. Being the underdog phsyically in most things sports etc .. being more in danger all the time. Also caring for others which is a strength but also a burden...men can not care for their young and leave..some womwn can too but most have a hornonal impetus to take care of people and input a lot more effort into it when they do. Ei a baby cries they release stress hormones that men dont and they often do a lot of things ken dont because men just do the minimal thats needed. Which isnt nesssiarily a bad thing. Sex is obviously a huge value in womanhood. The feminine values internally ...like family sociaety networking flexibility ...those things never came into the world through feminism. Women got to have mens jobs but womens way of doing things hasn't got respect. So like take for example Women in nursing. The structure of women in nursing the network of relationships and bonds happening in a ward of women. Then take the more samsculine structure of a hospital today with temporary nursing staff who dont know each otherr dont know their patients... outsourced cleaning staff...thats a great way to run an army lets say ..where staff goe where they are most jeeded and efficient. But the bonds and relationships in a ward mean that a nurse gets to know their patients their doctors etc. Thats not valued at all in a masculine modern model of bottom line numbers. The things women value are very different aspects of the same things. And they are even less represented today than 40 years ago.
