Thank you so much for this tutorial. I just bought your water color brushes and papers. I can’t begin to tell you how much I love them! I spent my whole Christmas holiday playing with them. Thank you again.
Aw, this is such a sweet comment! I'm so honoured to hear that these brushes were a part of your Christmas holidays! This comment made me so happy🥰Thank you so much for the support! Please look for more tutorials in the future :)
Gotta give this a try. I’ve been using the Copy All method, but I end up with white fringe on all my clip art giving me so much extra work during clean up.
@@JudittyArt yesss I have 3 layers just like yours in the invert process 🥺 I inverted my 2nd layer (black ones) then cut the top layer which has drawings- (merged layer of paper texture, drawing, and white background) 🥺
@@OwlSpiritStudio What kind of canvas are you using? Results may differ depending on the canvas. But I understand your frustration! It happens to me from time to time and I often have to start all over from the beginning haha
@@JudittyArt Im new to procreate so Im still finding out ways to export my watercolor illustrations 😆 btw I have paper like texture canvas, I got mine from Julia Dreams Co. I found other tutorials but it's way too difficult for me and I found yours the easiest. Hope it still works for meee
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I have been struggling to figure out how to do this. I am confused though about one thing…what is the reason for the darkened illustration layer?
You’re so welcome! Thank you for watching! The darkened layer is temporarily made for Procreate to recognize that the drawing shaped like the darkened illustration is what we need to separate from the rest of the drawing. Let me know if you have any other questions!😊
Hello :) The textured paper background is included in this brush pack. There are 3 different paper textures. www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1241993515/watercolor-painting-brushes-for

Hope it was easy to follow! :)
I have tried this, I'm in the Invert and cut process. It just cuts my drawings and left me with the solid black cliparts ones. 🤷🏻♀️
Did you make sure to have the blank layer? Also, it only works when you are have all of the right layers. If it misses even one, it may not work.

So when we choose “invert,” we select the rest of the area that is not black. Then we clear that area.
Hello, where can I get the textured paper background like yours. Thank you.

Yikes that seemed complicated to me. I’ll have to go back and watch it some more 😬
It doesn’t work on my iPad I don’t know I tried several times thanks anyway
It might depend on the canvas that you are using too. Did you remove all of the excess layers?
life saving... photoshop can't remove watercolor paper.... always cut the images...
