    Hello and welcome to Hase's Kitchen. In today's video I show you a traditional Afghan rice dish. The rice recipe is very often eaten, rice with caramelized carrots, raisins with rice. Very tasty and very easy to prepare. If you don't know it yet, you should definitely try it out!
    My absolute recommendation.

    Ingredients:
    1 kg of lamb
    4 carrots
    1 cup of raisins
    4 cups of rice
    3 onions
    Garlic cloves
    Spices: salt, green cardamom, cumin
    Preparation:
    Cook lamb with 1 onion and garlic clove, preferably in a pressure cooker.
    Wash rice and leave to soak for 1 hour.
    Peel the carrots and cut into thin strips.
    Put oil in a pan and fry the carrots with 1 teaspoon sugar, remove. Fry the raisins briefly, take them out again. Chop 2 large onions and fry when they have turned golden brown, add the meat and fry over low heat, gradually adding the spices. Add the broth water from the pre-cooked meat and add the rice. Water should be 1 cm over the rice. Close the lid and cook until the water has evaporated. Add ground cumin, add carrots and raisins and let steam over low heat for 30 to 1 hour.

    Das schmeckt richtig lecker. Den Reis mit Rosinen habe ich so zum ersten Mal gegessen. Ich war überrascht... Kinder lieben die Rosinen auch. 😄
