Have mine with a masters blade and it's my go to for the purple guards. 2 years strong and still using it. Feels way lighter than Mythic and is at sweet spot for battery life. I have the barrel type .50 Cal with a taper blade (wahl type) but I rarely use it now. It actually was my first cordless magnetic motor clipper.
Machines are good for a bit, but all that plastic gives out in the long run. Had one but I traded it for a whal 1919 because the lever screw was stripped making it not usable for floating lever option.
I grabbed mine out of the drawer. Put the faper blade on it and havent put it down. Leaning more to the power and quiteness of the clipper. Have you tried the .50 cal 4th generation? Its on sale and kinda looking for reviews
I think you would really enjoy the Caliber Limited Edition 8hr edition. Yes it's another 10,000 SPM clipper that you already know and are overly familiar with. However the form factor is great and the weight is nice but the battery Bro!!! The Battery is Choice!!!!! I know you don't need it but I'd be thrilled to hear your take on it Honestly I have a 3rd Gen and the Limited Edition and they're basically the same motor as The BMG of I'm being honest. Could be clipper redundancy but again Design wise I love that BMG I want it and the Stinger I know Caliber isn't as popular because people feel it might be a knock off or wannabe Clipper but.... I think it's pretty Rad. Anyway I enjoy your channel and your breakdowns Thank you for your hard work stay cool. I really appreciate your content.
@@thewoodshedbarber I love the way it feels in the hand the pitch sound is basically the same as the Ergo and the BMG I've never held them personally but based on the Audio Sound I've heard on reviews and such it's the same. However the body style makes it feel substantial and powerful. Quiet like my Fast Feeds and as powerful as Electromagnetic Clippers I use them for Self Cuts I'm not a Barber but collect clippers especially Oster and Wahl anyway the feel compared to my other clippers is pretty legit and the power reminds me of the Corded Senior as it feels when it's turned on. And they're quiet as hell which I love. The only thing is Zero Gapping it is not really fun if you swap blades and cutting blades. I like Ceramic blades and I cannot get it to Zero Gap well. I don't really want to bend the springs back and I really don't trust the cutting blades that come with these newer style clippers. To be fair I've never ever used them so perhaps I'm doing my self a disservice but I just prefer the Wahl Blades or Ceramic Blades as I love sharpening easily my self. The only other Major Cons are The Bracket shifts when you tighten the Blade tight. So the plastic molding isn't great and the worst thing I'd say which I have experienced over time was messing with tightening the lever. It strips to easily. Especially if your the type that likes a stiffer lever I love the click lever and I think it's great if you have a floating lever because I really really like not having to eyeball where I'm setting it if it's on the floating lever as you can remove the clicks. But everyone's miles may vary. If only the had a metal or brass screw collar like the rebel or like babyliss has on certain clippers Oh man it would be killer. Anyhow it cuts great and has allowed me to cut my own hair much better when ever I feel like using it. Anyways you as an actual Barber would be able to describe it best as I'm just a Barber Channel and Barber Tool admirer and Enthusiast AKA I am not a Barber. The troll taper blade is a finicky fit. I liked the wahl premiums on that one

9mm is ehh blade grabs follicles and doesn’t bulk well and the Moab shaver is eh aswell
is because the cutting blade is crap
