Lollipop Bookmarks | Summer Kids Crafting | Sara Davies

You’ll need :
Large lollipop sticks
Acrylic paint markers
Felt or funky foam
Googly eyes
PVA glue or hot glue gun
1. Take your lollipop stick, the larger size is perfect for this, and paint your base colour. The paint markers are great to use as they give great coverage and cause less mess.
2. Once your base layer is dry this can be spots, stripes, wavy lines, or any pattern you like.
3. Using funky foam or felt cut out a piece for hair and stick in place on the back of the lollipop stick.
4. Add googly eyes, to the top and draw on a nose and mouth if you wish.
5. Take a pipe cleaner and wrap it around the stick, leaving equal lengths on either side of the arms. If you wish you can bend the ends to create hands.
6. Once the stick is finished it’s ready to use as a bookmark with your little hands hanging over the top so it looks like it's holding on to the top of the book.
*Children can use their imagination with these and create any design they like, monsters, animals, superheroes, and much more.
