- The spiral reindeer stampede happened in a corral in Murmansk, Russia, after the herd was frightened by a veterinarian there to give them anthrax vaccinations. The bucks quickly circled, keeping their does and fawns safe in the center. Reindeer can reach speeds of up to 50 miles an hour. Such behavior has been observed in dolphins, bison and even elephants, as a way to confuse predators so they are unable to target an individual.

Is this a wild herd or domestic? Domesticated for what purpose if so?
They are used for as beasts of burden
I don't like this - if they would be scared enough they might be liable to trample one another.
