I don’t understand why there’s such like a stigma kinda around the age you loose your v card. I have turned 18 like a month ago and the first thing my “best friend” said to me was how does it feel to be an adult virgin? Bearing in mind we were in public and people were around but why do you have to judge that, it’s no one else’s business why you haven’t done it by a certain age and that doesn’t matter. yeah I kinda feel you but in the opposite way. I lost it in a considerate "early" age while the great majority of my friends didn't even had a relationship or were serious dating. In my friend group some "friends" would judge me and say my relationship wouldn't last and call me a slut behind my back, you know that stuff, while my real friends (who turned out to be like only 2) would stay by my side and understand me. 10/10 I do not regret my past decisions, its been almost 4 years and me and my bf are still very happy together. Don't listen to what others say, its your body your choice, do what makes you happy and you feel ready

I grew up in a super white area as well, and I definitely did have that same experience where guys never looked at me, only my friends, but I never connected it to race. I figured it was because I’m really small and looked a lot younger, but I guess that is also kind of a side effect of not being white lmao.
I do vividly remember in elementary school, I was so conditioned by media that I thought it was impossible to be pretty if you didn’t have blonde hair. Like in all the movies growing up the blondes are the pretty ones and if you have dark hair you’re not pretty, you’re smart, and you’re a side character. There was a girl in my class with the same name as me and she was blonde, and so I just assumed she was “the pretty one.” I thought that maybe if I still wanted to be pretty when I grew up I would dye my hair, but now in college I get comments all the time about my natural hair being a really pretty color. I had a friend tell me “is that you’re natural color? Ugh I know so many girls who would kill to have that color”. Beauty standards are so illogical.
Also about the astrology thing, I have a Leo rising and I’m very proud of it! People who aren’t friends with someone based off of a SINGLE sign are hypocrites, because they definitely don’t know enough about astrology to use it to inform anything about their lives. Sun signs are much less important than people realize, the reason it’s valued so much is only because it is easy to figure out without having to look at a chart, so to judge someone based solely off of that is a mistake. Astrology has just as much to do-if not more more-with the relationships between the planets and how they interact in the chart as their placements in a sign. Every sign has positive and negative aspects, and the way a person expresses those aspects depends on the planets and placements around it.
Also, just because something exists in your chart doesn’t mean you are bound to it. It’s just describing the karma you were born with, and karma is something you can always change by deciding to make different causes. Im sorry mean comments sucked the fun out of it for you 😡😢 Being a Leo means you shine, which is obvious in your videos.
I'm white and blonde lol but I'm also super short and I look like a 14 year old (and I'm 21). I consider myself pretty and I've never really had big doubts about it, but as of right now I can say guys are not looking at me, only at my friends.. So I guess being short and young looking has it's part at not being picked up

I totally agree with poc not feeling beautiful compared to their white friends and I remember feeling this growing up and noticing society pushing the standard of beauty being white. I remember being in middle school thinking guys would like me if I was white or I wish I was white. To any other women of color that has felt this feeling just know you are beautiful the way you are. As I grew up I learned to be confident in my brown skin and my ethnic features. It takes time but just know there is no standard of beauty and being confident in yourself is beautiful 💕
Hey Jazzy, I actually went to the same high school as you (i was one year behind you) and you described HB perfectly lmao. It's so difficult living in an area with many POC but a lot more people who are racist. It came to the point where my friends in high school were people of color. Also I agree. White women won't understand our struggles since they are the standard. (Not that they don't have issues, just not our issues.) And I understand realizing your friends are racist. Even though my friens group is POC, there is still racism present. After a while I had to stop being friends with people because I realized that they only saw certain ethnic groups as sexual objects, nothing more.

As a white girl who has blonde hair and blue eyes, i never really thought about the fact that some girls with different skin/eye/hair colors don’t feel pretty just because the stereotype “pretty girl” is white, has blue eyes and has blonde hair. Just wanted to say to everyone reading this: you’re pretty! No matter what your skin color is! (If you don’t believe me, just say to yourself: “i’m pretty” every time you look in the mirror, until you believe it)

I´m also what is called the pretty girl stereotype (white skin, blue eyes and blonde hair) and my parents work really hard so you can say I have a bit more financial possibilities. I always hype my friends and other girls up because I honestly think everyone is beautiful and deserve to feel appreciated idk just being myself and nice in general and a lot of girls would say "she's just full of herself because she's rich and pretty" and that honestly hurted me a lot because it was not only strangers saying that but girls who I thought were my close friends. To be honest, I loved this series! Keep them going, your being so raw and informative. I feel like a lot of girls don't have anyone to be able to talk about this and often they don't have parents that give them talks and teach them. I am 26 years old and I wish my mom would've had these type of conversations with me, it would've taken a lot of insecurities and I would've avoided a lot of ignorance. Props to you!
