This is actually song before their international succees! They are absolutely brilliant, specially in Italian. I'm sad that they are not getting regonition in US like they should. AMA's and Jimmy Fallon want them to perform just Beggin, ages old cover they did in XFactor instead their beautiful originals. Even their English songs are better that Beggin! I hope they still will do songs in Italian, because those are absolutely goergeous! Love your content!
You pronounced the title of this song perfectly! Great job! Please do more Maneskin in Italian, I think they're so much deeper, and make sure you have English subs or pull up the lyrics' translation.
You are right, they are wonderful and their music is something magic, do more Mäneskin reaction and really important read the lyrics and the translation cause Damiano is a real poet
This song and “In Nome del Padre” are especially dedicated to haters, you’ll see. Thank you, your reaction to this song is probably the best on YT. And yes, your pronunciation of “La Paura del Buio” is perfect. 🙂
Great! Your pronunciation of Italian is perfect ... and your reaction to their anger (let's not forget they are twenty years old) is just like mine so, as usual, it's perfect for me at least.
Very nice reaction video! We could feel your emotions while you were listening! Many nice songs from Maneskin, the whole "teatro d'ira" is a masterpiece, I also love in a particular way "le parole lontane". 👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Love your reaction as usual. They said this song is about music so I have always thought is against the record industry (they fought hard to make the album the way they wanted, the label and the white collars said it would be a flop cause Rock isn't mainstream in Italy) more than against the haters but as usual with them is open to interpretations.
Hello, I’m a brand new subscriber and I have also fallen in love with Maneskin, which is actually how I stumbled upon your channel. Your reaction to the poetry of the lyrics totally vibes with me. I can’t wait explore more of your channel! And if you haven’t already reacted to Maneskin’s video in their home studio of two songs, I Wanna Be Your Slave and Zitti E Buoni could you please ? I would love to see how you feel about. I’m captivated by it!☮💜
@4:55 clasped is not a good translation. "mani giunte" means praying hands, as in begging for forgiveness Another thing that's completely lost in translation, is that he's addressing a female. It might be not relevant, tho, since I read everything as a metaphore for the music industry. Having no fear of darkness I believe means be an independent artist as opposed to a child that music industry wants to control fully.
I love your reaction! Now the next is In nome del padre, some rage against the machine feeling, also in this song is important to read the lyrics, you will love it, dedicated to the haters 🤘🏻
I think he meant globally, especially in the US. Cuz after Eurovision that's when the rest of the world started playing attention. Cuz 6 months ago barely anyone in the US knew who they were and now they're being nominated for awards, playing at US award shows, and appearing on american television (im only speaking about the US cuz that's where im from so i can gauge the success) and that happened pretty quickly. Ya they were big in italy after several years, but their recent level of success happened pretty quickly.
To respond to a comment you made in your video here, yes they attained global fandom almost overnight here recently when their cover of Beggin that they first did at a 2017 X Factor Italia, but since they came in runners up in that contest, sadly. Sine then, they've been CRAZY popular all across Europe and Russia since then and they've been touring Non-Stop. I've seen clips of a ton of their live performances and the one where they just recently opened up for The Stones in the Las Vegas show not too long ago. This entire set here Radio Italia that was great and while they were in Hollywood at the AMA awards they also played at the legendary theater, The Roxy. All these live shows of theirs I've seen right here on UA-cam unblocked so you should go check them out. They are indeed getting around a bit more than they did before and I love it. So happy for them they worked hard and they deserve all the fame and respect they can get because all of them are damn good musicians and the first time I heard Damiano sing I heard a little Freddy and a little Eddie that was perfection. How it IS perfection.. his voice. Just found your channel today because I'm really appreciating your reactions to my new favorite band from Italy of all places. I know them, you know them: Maneskin. Oh btw, you know our singer Damiano shares his January 8th birthday with two other legendary figures in rock history, right? 1. Elvis Presley 2. David Bowie Make subtle sense for our Damiano doesn't it?! 😀🤘 This is becoming one of my favorite songs from any band that I've listened to since 1976 and that's been a hell of a lot of music since then! And this one our Damiano truly gets to show off his seeing chops that harken back to the great days of Italian opera ride the very end you'll hear it, it's wonderful! And I love the way he's so animated I think that's one reason I love them so much is because they're passionate and animated when they play and they're bringing something fresh to revive rock and roll and it makes me so damn happy and I feel rather fortunate to have been alive long enough to know who Maneskin is! 😀👍
@@annarae2396 but you can learn Coraline, Torna a Casa, Vent'anni, Le Parole Lontane, In nome del Padre, Lividi sui Gomiti, Amami, etc. And there are in English: For Your Love, Mammamia, IWBYS, Supermodel etc. And if You love cover there are My Sharona, Bury a Friend, Phyro etc. Everything but enough Beggin '! It comes out of our ears and also to them!!! 😛
@@danielasantarelli6396 oh I am learning, I use their Italian songs as part of my daily lessons. My boyfriend says I am much better than I used to be. Italiano è molto difficile.
On a side note: they wrote this before the global success they had after winning Eurovision! But they have experienced quite a lot of hate, empty criticism, mockery, unjustified scrutiny before that too, mainly by frustrated Italian trolls. Glad to hear that you are going to react to more of their music! This band has so much more to offer. I recommend "For your love " ua-cam.com/video/6M6R5WPSCcs/v-deo.html and their cover of Billie Eilish's "Bury a friend" at Global Citizen Festival ua-cam.com/video/qqNggLqeK7A/v-deo.html. If you want more relatable, meaningful songs check "Vent'anni" ua-cam.com/video/zH3Qjgoh02I/v-deo.html - "Coraline" ua-cam.com/video/yRnxYhttJwA/v-deo.html Both have eng subs, plus Italian sounds so poetic and their writing is excellent! You really can't find a bad song! Have fun!
The one coming back with joined hands in prayer in my view isn't the haters but Marlena (their creative muse). The haters have never been on Damiano's side anyway and so COMING BACK wouldn't make any sense. Let's say the haters and other dangers might push Marlena away from Maneskin (this relates to the first part of the song's lyrics)...but Damiano knows even if that happens she (Marlena) will be back.
Damiano is the whole package...looks, talent, voice and charisma
I’m an old grandmother now but I have such a crush on him! Lol He makes me feel like love struck teenager!☮💜
Definitely
That's my favorite song from Maneskin 😍

It's what I love the most about them: the brilliant lyrics and the raw, unadulterated, un-autotuned talent blowing through the microphone.
You pronounced "La paura del buio" beautifully and perfectly!
Damiano is such a great personality! I absolutely love his powerful brain and lyrics! ❤️ It was a difficult game to success but they make it.
Damiano is really good writing in italian and his voice here is terrific
They never disappoint. I love everything they do. So young so talented. love them.

It didn't really happen overnight. They got big quickly in Italy, yes, but they got huge after 4 years anyway.
