I stumbled across your videos only recently and man do I love them! After only watching a couple, I feel as though I am a part of a bearded brotherhood. I don't have any men around me with beards in my profession, so this is so encouraging. Thank you my brother!
Thank you for this vid Gray! The perfect motivation for me. I am 2months in and get compliments all the time but I also fall into that trap where I look at guys with beards like yours that are full around the lips and high on the cheeks and I get sad. Thanks for boosting my confidence.
It's because of great bearded gentleman like you that I've learned to embrace my beard. I've learned that in most cases we're our own worse critics and while I used to see the faults in my beard others just saw a beard. Now I embrace those faults and try to wear & style my beard to enhance my strengths and in doing so I've grown to love my beard. Cheers to you sir & thank you for the great channel. I've learn so many great tips from watching it and my beard looks the best it's ever look because of it.
So glad you talked about the "swirl" of your beard. I'm from the south and friends would call mine "hurricane root", it only did that to one side. I'm 4 months in on my beard and it's not as noticeable now as it was. Thanks for the encouragement.
Thank you Mr. Bruno, I really enjoy and appreciate you sharing your experience and helping others (like myself) embrace their individuality. Congratulations on your great UA-cam channel, your videos inspire me - and many others I'm sure - to continuously seek ways to improve, reinvent, and redefine ourselves. Beard on!
Wodinn - yeah, that was my beard at nine months. It is now at ten, heading to a yeard. Thank you for your kind words. Believe or or not, I poo-poo my beard. My gf tells me 'm crazy as I'm too picky. Betting your honest reaction is awesome, ty bro.
I feel like the main thing with people growing any kind of hair is the fear of the unknown, because you feel like you could be wasting your time growing something and looking odd for an outcome your going to not like anyway, which makes it very difficult to not compare yourself to others, it keeps you going, saying oh when its longer I think it'll look like this or this, its good but doing it too much is unhealthy
your such a blessing Mr. George. thank you for being my internet mentor at times. i look forward to growing my yeard and coming to visit in time and scheduling a super consultation. thank you for your service to the male life humanity. peace and blessings bretheren
love the videos man been watching a lot of your videos this week, very entertaining and encouraging, beards men like yourself should so make dvds that hit on tips and motivationals to help keep us bearded brothers focused and determined to achieve our goals especially if or when the time comes when we kinda hit that low time in our lives and we need that boost to keep bearding on anyways always a pleasure listening to your wise discussions really learning a lot and looking forward to what the next video is going to be about. ;)
Your videos are much better than an appoitment with the psychologist. That's the best thing I can tell about your person, apart of your awesome Beard. :) Cheers, mate.
Ive actually started making my own oils and blams recently. Ive been giving them away to get feedback and if it’s positive I may start trying to sell them. Personally I love them and I love experimenting with different oils and aromas. I tend to focus more on oils that moisturize as well as have relaxing aromatherapy properties. Ive been making 3 different scents for each of the 4 seasons. I hope other people like them as much as I do lol i also plan on selling some veggies at farmers markets and selling the oils and balms there as well. I just wanna spread the love of beard care and make come extra cash doing it
I know I'm 5 yra late on this comment, but I hope your doing ok. I have oils and butters coming in so I can try to do the same as you, except, ima try to make my own butters, amd oils. Any tips?
Been growing a beard now for 8 months and went to the barber and got my first major trim which it needed badly. Looks a lot cleaner but it wasn't the perfect trim by no means but i guess it will fill in with time and i can always shape it as it grows back out again to a longer length. Your videos are wonderful and you earned a new subscriber. Cheers and beard on!
I`m an black male on my beard journey, and i stumbled across your videos, but truthfully, i couldn`t stop watching this video because of your voice, very nice beard sir.
I have more salt than pepper in my beard these days but I'm rocking it and looking forward to the purple VO5 and sultan silver wash 😄 you are absolutely right about time, length, and patience. My beard is starting to kick ass and getting a lot of compliments. As always love the videos. God bless you brother
Your beard and especially your mustache is looking the best I've ever seen it. Well I'm biased because your handlebar looks like my goal (or dream) beard but still.
I know you weren't talking about reviewing a product(s) for just whoever. But if you do, I would love to see your opinion on Mad Viking Beard Oils/Soaps/Balms. Anyways, I love your videos. I've learned A LOT. And it's all helped me make my beard, though sparse, MUCH better overall! Thanks to you!
the ultimate hot towel shave is how I found your channel. was thinking of switching to straight razors for crisper lines on my beard and it was down a rabbit hole I stumbled into for that.
We can't grow another man's beard. We want what we can't have. Every single individual is unique, one-of-a-kind, just be the best you you can be, you will never be any more.
Thank you for the great advice about growing a epic beard all the things you mention in this video seem to apply about my beard and i am learning from you to reach my goal again thank you very much Gray. by the way you have the perfect beard one of the best i have ever seen. cheers from Canada
George, thanks for the encouragement. Cause my beard is at close to three inches, and it's still super curly (mostly on the sides-Goatee area back to ears), front starting to strengthen out (gray and silver coming in mostly in front goatee area), the hair on my head is just spiral curls, (wear it long, about middle of back). You mentioned that after all the white came in your beard lost the curls, is this common? Our if you just have super curly hair and beard, that's what it is for life, cause I'm 55 and I don't see the curls letting up at all, ha ha. Any ways again, thanks for your time you give us with your beard and life wisdom, love watching and learning from your videos. Please keep it up brother George, and God bless.....
Gary if you could pick two of your videos to show a hair professional who has never cut beards which would they be? I have been growing my beard out now for over 6 months and i have only trimmed my mustache.... I really don't want to attempt to try myself and i have no beardsmith in my area
thanks for the great video george, big fan! one question - what is the best way to trim or cut the ends of the handlebar? should i cut the tips when the beard is fully styled with wax or when its clean? thanks a lot and greetings from germany
Thanks for the words of encouragement George. I have curly beard and wish it was more strait. If I'm hearing you right the longer it gets the less it will curl?
It seems with many guys, that when they start to turn gray, the hair gets straighter. I became gray quicker than most guys do so I dont feel I can speak for all men. However the longer the hair, the easier it is to straighten. Peace.
Mr. Bruno, where do you see yourself and your beard in 1 year? Your goal is a noble one sir! After you reach the 3-button goal, what's next? Would be nice to see a video of you talk about reaching your goals and setting the next one up!
I totally get it George... I get a load of younger gentlemen stating that they wish they had a beard like mine, but as I say to them, ya gotta rock what ya got...no matter what size it is...and as I also say to them, it's all to do with genetics.. point blank... I'm lucky I have a nice full beard...good genetics on my fathers side...my great uncle had an epic moustache... anyways.. another inspiring video as always
Hey George...got a question. I recently started to grow a beard. I dye my beard because the gray makes me look older. What are your thoughts on dyeing facial hair and beards?
Great video again George. I have a question, how do you get your hair cut? What I mean when I ask that is, what would I tell my barber to have it look like yours? Also, what is your favorite cigar? I just started smoking cigars about a year ago and I'm still trying to find that perfect one. Thanks
I usually ask my guy to give me a traditional gentleman's cut. As far as cigars, I tend to like Arturo Fuente, Macanudo, Nub, and most Honduran and Nicaraguan leaf. Peace.
Hi George, You talked in more detail about this in another video, I can't find it back, but you mentioned alittle about it here, at what point of beard length do you stop shaving the neck line above adams apple? Also my lower lip there's hair in the center but it's not very long and it's more bald on each side, will it ever grow in full? like a sharp line all the way across like yours? (And i'm not comparing) haha
Jake Boss at the point where you can no longer see the neckline or whenever it's comfortable for you! The neckline is very important in giving your beard that fullness, in my opinion the earlier the better. As far as your lower lip, mines the exact same way! Mine will probably never come in, but I've grown to love it. I feel it gives it more character! Hope that helps!
Hi George, i have been growing a beard for 1.5 years. Thanks for the vids!!!! I've been trimming the front bottom to encourage it to curl under. Currently, when I blow dry as you recommended my beard curls-out in the front instead of laying straight down. What do u recommend along with letting it grow to make it look decent for work?
@Gray Bailey Is there some kind of acne, or follicle inflammation of sorts that kills your follicle? Because I have some kind of acne or similar and I'm guaranteed that I've lost beard (beard have become more patchy) in the last 2-3 years. Do you have any information on this?
Hey, I'm about a week and a half into growing a natural length long beard, but the hair on my top and bottom lips are out and up a bit and driving me crazy......any suggestions? How long until they lay down? Thanks
George, I have been growing my goatee for 6 months and it is getting long but now I want the full heard so I quit shaving my cheeks and sides of my face, will that ever get to the length my goatee is or should I start over, thanks,, Alvin
How is called when your beard slit in the end? (08:11 of the video) I heard once that when your beard reached that point, it will keep growing "forked". It doesn't look cool at that point. Is that true? Thanks! Great beard and videos.
Every beard grows different. But you are right about forking at a certain length. sometimes it is the result of the curl though and length would cure that.
I just googled it. See if it's something for you. It seems like it can get a bit messy, though, but you gotta figure out what sort of sacrifices you want to make.
So, I have relatively good genetics, there are hardly any patchy spots and good thickness all around. However, my sideburns are not at all thick! Should I be worried or with time that should get better?
I used to only cut the hair of gray, silver, and white hair only. I don't color hair or provide any chemical services for anyone in a major career move to be more natural.

Just want to thank you for making these inspiring videos :) .

Great video George. Watching you daily now with my morning coffee!
Ooh I see what you did there, the sultan of silver wearing a quick silver shirt.
I just noticed that! lol.
Way to get meta with it!
I greatly appreciate this video and your advice. Not only have you answered many questions I've had, you offer invaluable reassurance. Thank you. :)
Thank you for these videos. Sometimes I feel like shaving it off, but these encourage me to let it grow.
If that is your pic in the avi, You sir have an amazing beard. I love the color of it! Let that beast GROW bro.

Phenomenal video! Thank you for the information! "You can wear a funky ass tie." 😂
Curious ... at what age, Sultan, did your beard fully mature and fill-in ?

Hey George, not trying to be untactful here but out of curiosity: What is your genetic background? Where did your ancestors come from?
Hey George...got a question. I recently started to grow a beard. I dye my beard because the gray makes me look older. What are your thoughts on dyeing facial hair and beards?

grass is always greener on the other side..
Did u ever grow a long beard in your younger years?
He did in his early 20s but it was patchy until about 30.
you are a wise man👍
Hey, I'm about a week and a half into growing a natural length long beard, but the hair on my top and bottom lips are out and up a bit and driving me crazy......any suggestions? How long until they lay down? Thanks

What's your opinion of henna George? I've used it a few times.
Honestly I don't know much about it and couldn't speak about it intelligently
Peace
I just trimmed my beard for the last time thanks man I'm at 1month and 10 days
How is called when your beard slit in the end? (08:11 of the video) I heard once that when your beard reached that point, it will keep growing "forked". It doesn't look cool at that point. Is that true? Thanks! Great beard and videos.
