I remember seeing this band back in the day as a kid and after seeing the video on MV3 here in los angeles I went out and bought the record which I still have and still play when I drink beer :)
Bryant was my drum teacher at haneks Music Store on Hacienda Boulevard for 3 years great guy Great drummer. Later my band recorded in his studio. I went to every show every recording and never missed helping set up. Thanks for the lessons Briant I still play everyday. Your redhead student Mike Prather.
Timeless song. Actually just as relevant today. Loved these guys live. Wow so cool Tracy G. wish you would re-release this! LONG LIVE ROCK N' ROLL and Joe
A friend brought back 1 cassette recording of LA radio, kind of capturing a snapshot of the airwave scene. This song should have been a number one hit. This video may have killed it. Great to see, but they were a lot cooler in my mind while listening to this song for years. others: Odin's Shinin' Love and Devastation Run. Thanks for providing this! Ray and Sheri, you 2 were great in this! \m/
Tracyg.com. Tracy is the guitarist with the white shirt. I've pleaded with him to release it. You can contact Tracy at his website, he's a real nice guy, he'll talk to you, very down to earth.
With all due respect to these guys, here is the original Long Island-based Swift Kick that pretty much ruled the tri-state club scene in the late 70s - early 80s: ua-cam.com/video/LfVQU_8JvsU/v-deo.html
Yes, I was 16 in 1982 and I opened for them at a club in Oakdale called the QuarterDeck. it was there last show on the island before they went on there first tour.
Have not heard this in 30 years! Unbelievable!
