WEIRDEST PLANT IN MY COLLECTION! | GOLDEN CHICK FERN

This will probably be the weirdest plant you will ever see in my plant collection! The cibotium barometz, also known as thegolden chick fern, has a hairy rhizome where it sprouts is foliage. Deep diving in the video about everything I know about the plant so far!

I have a big one that has sprouted a long fiddle head. Can’t wait for it to open up as leaves. I am based in Ontario and it is legal here but it will be a difficult find. Very, very rare!

Every fern guide ever: keep consistently moist
All my ferns: I Will die if you keep me consistently moist
I find letting them juuuust dry out then watering them well does well by ferns, tho i’ve not kept one of these
