If you've learned American English, Mr villaescusa, you're absolutely correct. However, British English speakers use the plural for collective nouns such as "team." This was one of the many differences between American English & British English that I learned when I spent a summer at the U of Cambridge about 54 years ago.

Biden has the gait and posture of an OLD person! I’ve seen it many times in my career assisting the Elderly with activities of Daily living. The “blank” look, as well. So sad his “family” doesn’t do more to protect him.
Bowden is one of the best of The Behavior Panel panelists and sure hope he steps out more on his own. When I watch evals on TBP I am oftentimes put off by Scott Rouse (?) who is unprofessional and disrespectful (IMO) of his viewers. Bowden is the total opposite of that.

I actually like the job that KJP is doing. When she first started, I thought that she was God-awful and totally incompetent.
Now, however, she is being sent out to defend the indefensible. How many people have done that? I can tell you that it's one tough job.
