Okay... So I was watching this at about 3 am... Deep in the center of the stories and really feeling it. Out of nowhere there is a crash in my room near the window. I bolt off the bed, flick on my phone light and slowly look around. It's a glass candle that just fell and got caught behind my dresser. But as I peek around and investigate a little more, I realize there is nothing there to have knocked it off. I was laying, very still in bed, watching Dan tell the stories. I'm the only one home, the heat/ac are off right now, no pets. I really can't think of anything else that could knock a heavy glass candle over... 😩☠️😫😵😱
Also a native. Round Mound would make some great stories, also some of my own growing up in a house on Kearney between 5th and 6th that is now a driveway.
A colleague told me about this podcast since I am a believer of the paranormal. Then I heard that you could watch it on UA-cam! Thank you so much telling these stories!
For as long as I can remember, my great uncle has had a hat man that just hangs out in his basement occasionally. My uncle refers to him as John, and as far as I know John has never caused any harm or anything. I saw him a handful of times when we lived there for a couple of months when we were between houses as a kid. He spooked little 6yo me enough that I refused to sleep anywhere but in bed with my parents.

Atchison, Kansas is a cool town. I had the creeps the whole time I was there although nothing paranormal happened to me. I'm a southern California native. Socal is fun and exciting but I still LOVED Atchison! And this show, and this episode. It definitely felt haunted there.
Awesome podcast (also timesucker) listen to it every morning after a new one drops, buuuuut lindze, lyndzy, lyndze, lokffffg? Could we push that mic slightly away during story time? If you and my wife sat in a movie theatre together youd both get chased out by an angry mob. Love you guys though.
Just now getting into these and watching. I feel the same way. She talks wayyyy too much especially when Dan’s reading stories! I wish she would stop doing that. Takes away from the story and several times I have to rewind bc I miss what Dan says bc she’s screaming and making stupid comments. It’s so annoying to me.
Another great show, I've been there for all the sucks, secret sucks and STD! Love you both! The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown.-H.P. Lovecraft
I think Im riding the edge of Creeper/Peeper. It depends on the day and how horrifying things get around me. I have a lot of my own stories. There was a multi year period of my life from 15 to 18 years old where I couldnt be alone, Im not going to go further than that right now.
It is my birthday month and I am rewatching the STD episodes from the beginning because I am a peeper and love this podcast. So recently I watched these two boys who did a ghost investigation of the Sallie house and before they began a cat was following them outside the property… now I am wondering if it was the cat that got killed?!? 😿
To answer Lindsey's question... In an occult like sex trade.. the victims aren't willing exactly. The "pimps", if you will, seek out persons with very little support/social lives that have an addiction so that they can then manipulate how people view them. Then they will feed their addictions to an extremity causing the addict to rely on them for not only their "fix" but also for the basic human needs such as food and shelter constantly being passed around from "trap house" to trap house. After isolating them from any support they may have other than other drug providers the victims are then easily controlled by their own willingness to be self destructive by further feeding their addiction. #theunderground #iovercamemyself
Oh hell NOOOOOO when Dan said "Soon" the first time my phone rang and I swear I was never so close into having a heart attack in my LIFE. I love it. :)
This is the equivalent of going to see a scary movie but the person next to you in the theatre will not stop talking. I love the extra commentary! Just not during the intense scary parts, it just makes it way less scary for me personally. Other than that I love the pod guys!
Oh, my God, McCall, ID-I had one of the best meals there at a little restaurant around the early to mid 2000s that also had a group of locals having a great jam session. The restaurant closed sometime after that, though because it’s not been open any time we were through there after that. They actually had a chef, and the meal was incredible! I remember we bought two sweatshirts that had a skier on the front, and it was a photo of our waitress. My husband is from Coeur d’ Alene and still has a brother living there. We live on the east coast and are retiring in a month, so we looked at land in northern Idaho. But we are going to Arizona simply to get away from brutal winters! I remember Jeepers Creepers and thought it was one of the scariest movies I’ve ever seen.
when i was a kid living in NC my mom's boyfriend told me about the hat man who would appear in his room on occasion at night. He would see him there in the corner of his room just looking at him. Over 15 years later I was living in WA state, I was hanging out with a girl and we got to talking about Ghost. she told me about a shadow who was standing in her room one night when she was putting her kid to sleep. I interpreted her and said "He was wearing a long coat and top hat" she was SHOCKED and said yeah "How did you know" I told her about my mom's boyfriend, and that he had been seen all over the world.
My family and I were seeing it from the mid 80's to around the mid 90's. My little sister ended up calling it The Undertaker because the hat and long coat made it look like the wrestler's shadow.
I definitely think im a creep but this was eerie i was actually just screaming in my car alone. Im about to move into my first apartment and i have a strong feeling im going to become a peep lol
So there are a few videos on UA-cam about the Sallie House’s history and one of the things that’s really confusing is that there was a girl who lived down the way named Sallie but there’s no history about her mother or Sallie ever being in that house or that she died there according to the tour guides. Also, I have a hard time believing that if ghosts are real that children considered equally as innocent as animals would be haunting places. I feel like any malevolent energy would take on the form of a little girl to try to get people to let their guard down and attach themselves to that energy. One of the tour guides said also that after Tony and Deb left one of the new tenets actually went into the home and opened multiple “portals” in the basement making the haunting worse. Lots of disputes as to what her intentions were but there is a smudged pentagram on the basement floor...
I have two dogs just like yours, one that barks at dust and one I actually pay attention to. If Ginger starts barking in the night my ear perks up for a moment or two to see if Diamond joins in. If she does and its more than a few seconds, only then will I get up to go check what the heck is going on. Otherwise..."Ginger! Hush! This is why no one likes you."
Longtime timesucker this is the first time I've watched scared to death on UA-cam. I've been a listener since day one but just recently got time to watch the show. I pictured Lindsey differently from the sound of her voice. But, I can see why Dan married her lol Love you guys, hail Nimrod, praise Bojangles!
I went to school at benedictine college in atchison. The sally house is literaly down the street! Its a creepy ass house and the urban lore about that house is freaky as hell.. i saw ghost hunters filming an episode there, the year i attended.
Ghost hunters are fake frauds tho,it’s just a fictional story entertaining but not real,it’s all in people’s heads,if someone told you a scary story of a house you’d feel freaked out by the house so as I said our imaginations can play on our minds
Binged all your podcast this week! Great stories! Lynze you crack me up!.. I've had my own encounter with a Shadow lady... pretty weird!.. Keep up the good work!
& she lies too. She claims she grew up “poor “ but also said that her mom was a Dentist or worked in the Dental field her entire childhood…I grew up poor & I never had ONE friend whose parents were a Dentist. She’s very entitled
Watching instead of listening is very much a more creepy experience, however I've determined that I shouldn't watch by myself at 2 am after getting home from work. I either need to watch it with someone else or watch it when there is still a bit of daylight out
Lol, glad I'm not the only one. I made that mistake the other night, had to turn on half the lights just to go to the bathroom in the night....then decided to leave the hall light on all night.
Lmao I have been listing to time suck since albert fince episode (I went back and watched alot of previous episodes)and when I found out u were ganna do a horror based podcast I was all about it from the start, but never once did I think I'd laugh so hard to watch lynz lose her shit lmfao love you guys keep up the great work
14:25 Lynze is correct. If an entity has made contact with you, then your ability to banish them heavily depends on your level of conviction and willful intent. Try not to burn sage for it enhances your connection to the other side and could possibly backfire due to invocation. Did anyone else hear a breathing sound in the mic when lynze was telling her first story? Me and my mom both heard it and i actually went back and replayed it and it was still there. Freaked us the hell out
Alright, so I don't know why but my technology seems to have issues whenever I listen to/watch this podcast. My GPS froze up a few times during one episode, my phone kept disconnecting from my stereo during another, and in another episode my phone randomly paused from time to time. Ahhh the birth of creepers and peepers❤ I started rewatching the videos and I'm creeped out to say that I just watched "demonic" right before this one and I don't like that they are both about shadow ppl lol I hope it's not an omen😮😢
I'm sorry but lmfo omg SOON reminded me of a Acura teen hunger force episode HANDBANNA tonight You again I'm sorry I'm a sick space lizard if you haven't seen that episode look It up lol
You guys can be misleading, he was heading to the kitchen, he kept saying soon? He was making delicious ghost cookies! Wasn't going to share until Angie finally said hi then she went and acted like that!
I am going to make you a custom protection blanket 😍🦄 vibes for life. Be warned, it may become your favorite blanket. I make comfy warm blankets. So maybe I’ll make you two. One for studio and one for your home 😍
I used to be a peeper.. but now im just a creep.. now im just trying to find something that will scare me. Its frustrating that nothing creeps me out anymore 😒
So..it doesn't look like the creators read the comments but, have you ever listened to 'The Grave Yard tales' podcast? They did an episode on Shadow people and how one of the theories is that they're not ghosts, but rather beings from another dimension, that's why they're able to slide in and out at random. So..sorry Lindsay, but things like sage and smudging wouldn't work. They also seem to feed off of strong emotion, so anything like anger or fear will attract them and they'll try to get more out of their 'victim'.
i used to see a shadow person in my room at my moms house for probably about a year. at first it scared the shit out of me but eventually it just made me uncomfortable then eventually annoyed. At some point i asked what do you want??? and never got a response. BUT i could ask it to please go away and it just about always would. but that was after like 5 or 6 months of this happening almost every single night. but my point is it got a lot less scary and i "spoke to it" but if it wouldve talked back i wouldve shit myself and never slept at my moms again lol
I am fairly enjoying the podcast, the thing I don’t like is Lindsay talking throughout the stories. It would be nice and more enjoyable listening the stories if Lindsay can hold her reaction until the story is over.
I LOVE listening to all the different stories, but it’s so hard to focus when there’s constant gasps and extra noises from wifey. Maybe it’s slightly OCD, idk...
I feel the same way. Thought I was the only One bc I always see comments about how much people love her. She gets on my nerves. Talks too much during stories. Also talks about herself too much for my taste. But I love Dan and his stories!!
Do you think that the old furnaces may have been letting off a survivable amount of carbon dioxide that could have been making you guys feel funny?? And now that you have the new furnace the feelings are gone because it's updated and much more efficient and doesn't give off any carbon monoxide?? Seems like a logical explanation to me 🤔 #newbiepeeper #newbiesucker
Okay... So I was watching this at about 3 am... Deep in the center of the stories and really feeling it. Out of nowhere there is a crash in my room near the window. I always end up singing “bohemian rhapsody “ when I hear shadow man stories “I see a little sillohwetto of a man!” Love y’all! 😘
I need you to know that this comment has changed my life forever hahaa
Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the Fandango!!!
Scaring me, scaring me, shadow man come to tango
jaymzOG SHADOW MEN AND LIGHTNING, VERY VERY FRIGHTENING ME
i don’t wanna wanna
First time watching y’all after finding the podcast, it’s crazy the difference in how you actually look and how I thought you guys looked in my head!
The first babadook image looks like Jared Leto's Joker.
All I’m waiting for is a chikatilo reference to make my day whole.
I think the “other spirit” in The Sally House was her mother, she hated Tony because the doctor killed her daughter.
I was thinking this too!
Hey! Atchison native here, great hearing about the Sally house. Maybe next time you'll be able to look into Molly's hollow.
Also a native. Round Mound would make some great stories, also some of my own growing up in a house on Kearney between 5th and 6th that is now a driveway.
Ooo fuck Molly's Hollow scared the fuck out of me as a kid.
Loving this cast, I am definitely a creep. Can't get enough of horror and scary stories.
Got to love the Sallie House! Saw it on an episode of Ghost Adventures...very creepy indeed!
And the story hebreads is the couple you actually meetvin the ep. Pretty cool
Wow.. Best story yet.. Sally house.. Wow
Leaving Colorado from the live Timesuck and I can’t stop smiling!!!! Worth the 12 hour drive from St.Louis.
HE WHISPERED TO ME!!!! HAHAHAHAHA
This is amazing!! hahahaah
It’s okay. John, get his body out of here... No one will whisper to you ever again.
I had to stop the video to look for this comment or I wouldn't be able to stop thinking it.
Bahahahaha only true fans will get this reference! Well played. Brava

A sometime play this on "shuffle".
Watching how far Lindsey has come is insane. He is FREAKED here.

I love the new twist. Long time listener of Timesuck.
I have never had chills like this before. Love it!!
They should do one about haunted paintings
I remember hearing about sallie on a travel channel special. so cool that youre covering it. the man hating ghost!
I love her voice. Super radio voice!
I think Im riding the edge of Creeper/Peeper. It depends on the day and how horrifying things get around me.

I don't have apple, how can I give you guys a rating. I want to rate timesuck as well been listening for around a year or so
Love you guys!!! One of my favorite podcasts. I got my Mom watching every week now and she knows nothing about UA-cam.
Much creepier than last week's...good episode :D

The furnace may have been emitting infrasound.
When you engage or acknowledge an entity they realize you can see them. Once they realize that the haunting is on.

Binged all your podcast this week! Great stories! Lynze you crack me up!.. I've had my own encounter with a Shadow lady... pretty weird!.. Keep up the good work!
Mid-story, my phone rang and, while the ring isn't anything shrill, it still scared the bejesus outta me!! 😵🥴
The hat man sounds like a messenger of death. Checking his watch to see when that persons time is
That shadow man in their images is just Marty in Western wear from BTTF III. 😂
Watching the old ones is hard because lynze won’t shut up while Dan is telling the story
Exactly, it’s so annoying!
& she lies too. She claims she grew up “poor “ but also said that her mom was a Dentist or worked in the Dental field her entire childhood…I grew up poor & I never had ONE friend whose parents were a Dentist. She’s very entitled
haven't heard this one in a while, good stuff 👍👌

In my opinion I feel like Sally was never a girl to begin with. I believe she was a demon disguised as a little girl.
I'm so in love with your podcast! Love the reactions and swearing 😂 love from the UK 😎😨
Lmao I have been listing to time suck since albert fince episode (I went back and watched alot of previous episodes)and when I found out u were ganna do a horror based podcast I was all about it from the start, but never once did I think I'd laugh so hard to watch lynz lose her shit lmfao love you guys keep up the great work
I will be emailing you soon... I hope it makes the show...
14:25 Lynze is correct. If an entity has made contact with you, then your ability to banish them heavily depends on your level of conviction and willful intent. Try not to burn sage for it enhances your connection to the other side and could possibly backfire due to invocation. Mugwort has been found to be more effective in cleansing your aura and environment.
May thousand angels and quartz obelisks surround you.
And as I wake up this morning after going to bed last night after finishing watching this episode around 3am, there was a text sent to my in law from my number at 2:42am that I didn't send and my phone has no record of. And I only know this because they sent me a screenshot of it.
Also I watched the show for the first time last night, while I was watching I felt like I was touched by something cold at one point this I initially thought was my dog but they weren't close enough to do that, then later I thought I saw a shadow moving out of the corner of my eye.
eeeeeeeeeeeeek
Scariest part of this episode was that I was so busy at work I have to listen a day late. 😭
I love you guys and this podcast!!
Name the listeners "Forgotten Souls"
Still a creep love a horror story and movies and nightmares
loving these! do you search for the storys or do people send them in? either way they are compelling. keep it up!
This is one of the best podcasts. I just found you all a few days ago and have binged watched/listened. I love the set up and flow of the podcast.
Flex on the man with a hat by being more dapper
I'm never listening to this with high quality headphones on again, I thought there was something in my room
Huuuh lol just your imagination lol you must be scared easily
Hail!
How can I be slippin if I'm the one doing the moping
Fairly certain lord mush mouth doesn’t care, but it’s Día de los muertos (kinda pronounced like muh-air-toes). Hope that helps.
mwertoes
Dan you da man!!!!
I need a shirt that has Lynze's face on it telling Dan to shut up! 🤣
As camper I would love to see Dan on the bonfire! Crackle Crackle
Creepy episode for sure
Listening to this and hearing Dan say "The Bonfire with Big Jay and Dan" makes me sad 😔😂
You guys can be misleading, he was heading to the kitchen, he kept saying soon? He was making delicious ghost cookies! Wasn't going to share until Angie finally said hi then she went and acted like that!
I like peepers way better than campers anyway! 🤟 haha
MOOORRREEEEE feed the creeps
So, I just watched this and I live in Southern Illinois. Now Im trying to find out where the emailer saw the mysterious fire and the robed people.
Oh and it sounds like the area on tye outskirts of Benton, IL. There was an old shack called hell house where weird shit happened.
If Dan was my father I'd be a creeper instead of a peeper ☹
The girl is a little over the top but I love the podcast! I have a few stories myself
I feel the same way about the girl. Lots of times I wish she would just shut up. Especially when Dan’s reading stories. It’s annoying
I am going to make you a custom protection blanket 😍🦄 vibes for life. Be warned, it may become your favorite blanket. I make comfy warm blankets. So maybe I’ll make you two. One for studio and one for your home 😍

So..sorry Lindsay, but things like sage and smudging wouldn't work.
They also seem to feed off of strong emotion, so anything like anger or fear will attract them and they'll try to get more out of their 'victim'.
We read stuff!
i used to see a shadow person in my room at my moms house for probably about a year. at first it scared the shit out of me but eventually it just made me uncomfortable then eventually annoyed. I LOVE listening to all the different stories, but it’s so hard to focus when there’s constant gasps and extra noises from wifey. Maybe it’s slightly OCD, idk...
I get that, plus all the "shut ups" get annoying and pull you out of the story.
I enjoy it 👍🏻
I absolutely love Lynze’s comments, they make the stories so much better.
The whole point is Dan scaring her though, there's plenty of places to listen to stories without commentary
I feel the same way. Thought I was the only
One bc I always see comments about how much people love her. She gets on my nerves. Talks too much during stories. Also talks about herself too much for my taste. But I love Dan and his stories!!
BELLE GUINNESS
Do you think that the old furnaces may have been letting off a survivable amount of carbon dioxide that could have been making you guys feel funny?? And now that you have the new furnace the feelings are gone because it's updated and much more efficient and doesn't give off any carbon monoxide?? Seems like a logical explanation to me 🤔
