Hi man. Truly a monster machine the 700, you think it still makes sense today ? I'm fascinated by the assisted composition, it could probably help. I wonder one thing can I use all these combinations of phrases and midi triggers with my samples only ? I think no problem but how much space can I have on a floppy, that worries me a bit..I find it has some fascinating sounds but what I'm wondering is if I can just use my sounds and exploit all the potential of the machine and its functions!? Thanks !
How do you save the sequences in an archive format? Can you export them to an external media and then reimport them when needed? Is there a limit to how many notes, patterns, and songs can be saved? Cheers and that does sound quite smooth. I love the older hardware sequencers and can't stand PC recording. Too many problems and the instruments sound like crap to me.
Thank you for your message,I'm glad you like it. I don't back up any tracks because when it's finished, I lose interest, so I don't have to load later. Old hardware machines are very exciting for me. When I make a production using it,I can clearly recognition the "limits", so I can work comfortably.
Bliss! How long have you been using the QY70? I bought one when it first came out and returned it a week later. I was using Cubase on an Atari 1040 STe at the time and just couldn’t get my head around the ‘70s workflow.
Really nice. So good to see the QY700 being used today.
Jesus fucking christ this hits one old man's heart on every level.

hi! thanks for your message.
definitely I choose QY70. because QY700 isn't battery powered!
Can you do a tutorial on the 700? I can't get started with it.
I'll try it next time!
