The foldable phones are finally getting better. I only wish they were getting more affordable too - Case in point: the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. It goes neck and neck with the OnePlus Open in terms of finessed. In fact, it’s better than the OnePlus foldable in many aspects. However, it’s still priced at Rs 1,59,999. That’s a lot of money for a phone.

The Vivo X Fold 3 pro is an engineering marvel and a big reason for that is the implementation of a second generation silicon carbon battery. Still, it has some drawbacks: Very mediocre haptics and not so great dual speakers. Even the software needs more refinement. Given its 1.6 lakhs price tag, such issues ought to be weeded out. Also, Vivo phones refuse to offer an unlocked bootloader.
