Even if he weren’t dumb and believing lies-he chooses to be vicious and spiteful and harm the female lead. 5:20 the fact that he drags her away and locks her up as his first instinct tells you all you need to know about the kind of controlling, misogynistic man he is.
Finally, Finally, FINALLY!!! A show where the wife divorces the horrible husband, and then STAYS divorced! She didn't go back to him... No forgiveness for stupid reasons. No returning to a dysfunctional (at best) relationship, where they will most likely repeat the same behaviors that led to their original unhappiness, violence, and divorce. She got out, moved on, and lived a happy fulfilling life!!!!! 🎉 With or without someone else, as long as she left his a** behind!!!👍👏
The FL keeps getting better with each drama she is in...this version of the drama was done very well it is refreshing to have the 2 ML walk away with the heroine. Some of the troupes were not great but the overall flow of the drama was good. I always like how after the FL leaves the husbands home and new wife come in the family realizes what a gem they had....it does not leave you with a good perspective on what it means to be daughter in law in China...I hope it is not true but it seems to be an opinion that is held by many...worth a watch because as I said FL is getting better with each role...2 ML is also a very good actor...helped with the tone and emotions of the script..I do adore the part were evil female exposes the affair between Fl and her dad to her mom because she has no clue they are a family...this always makes me laugh...this scene is not bad but I have watch better staged and scripted exposures, but this was fun,

So happy the wife divorce her husband. He showed little respect for his wife. All he did was disrespect and be littled her. Glad she found true love un her childhood friend who saved her the second time around.
I liked the doctor too. The FL deserve someone that will treat her with love and respect. Just because the ML realizes his feeling after all the damage has been done, does he honestly think he is so wonderful that the FL can ever forgive and forget.
Finally a good ending!! Good story, drama and toxic situations. Finally FL did something great and finally married the good guy that treated her as a queen. Very pleased with the end!!

I clicked a LIKE for this one in first place because FL divorced abusive husband and married a way better man. I skipped those excesive insulting scenes, because they bore me. The rest of story is a well known plot, but it was executed well with good acting from all actors.

The writers of this drama seem to have lost their own storyline and characterization. Nothing makes sense. I mean, the male lead (aside from being the typical toxic abusive bully they usually are) goes between “I’m a rich man and need to save face” and “instead of providing for you, my wife, I will force you to support yourself and work outside the home”. What wealthy man concerned about status and appearance would have his wife working a taxi job- if only to save face in front of the other rich judgements people? Also 1:07:31 he claims that he promised his grandfather that he would always take care of the FL 😂😂😂but he had not taken care of her once during their marriage- he literally forced her to get a job to support herself. why bother with this ridiculous claim? And then he goes from being hateful for the whole drama so far (remember when he grabbed her and dragged her out in public and locked her in a storage room?) but 1:08:34 now suddenly out of the blue says he knows he did wrong and hopes to makeup for it in the future. He never once showed that he had ever loved or cared for her in the past but as soon as they get divorced he is suddenly acting protective? None of this makes sense plot wise. It’s Just very strange as if the writers cant seem to use consistent character traits. Pick a lane, screenwriters! I feel bad for this actor l, playing such a stupid and l poorly written character. It must have been exhausting to constantly be forced to act angry and hateful for 90% of the drama.

The ML was a bad case of stupid. The FL made an art out of not using her brain. I did not feel any romance between FL and SML. At least she chose the SML in the end - did she do it out of gratitude again? Did she do it, because she found out, that he had saved her life? Would I want to marry a person, who loves whomever she thinks has saved her? Hell no.

Can't believe that creep ML is harrassing her, telling her to remarry him when he only just got a marriage certificate with the mistress lol...what a despicable person...especially after all the horrible mistreatment and abuse she suffered at his hands and his family's.(only an evil person locks their spouse up in a storage room constantly)...I just wish she had divorced him much earlier...she only divorced the cheating abusive scum half way through the drama..plus he only finds out AFTER they get divorced that she has been paying all his family's bills, doing all the housework and cooking and supporting his family....he was married to her for three years....can't believe he didn't know these things...I'm going to rewrite this story in my head...she knows it's Jinchen that saved her, they grow up together and have an unbreakable bond and live happily ever after lol....
this is all kind of the wife's fault. If she hadn't pretended to be a very low class person, her husband and his family would not have looked down on her so much. What if the situation were reversed and he had pretended to be a garbage collector? Number one, why? There really is no good reason to pretend to be someone you are not unless you don't really trust your husband. But since theoretically she loved him more than she even loved herself, then that is not the case. So why? Talk about self-sabotage. It really is her fault. She did not make him into a scumbag, though. He did that all by himself. But nobody will respect you if you do not respect yourself. So she creates the situation and then it bites her in the rear. She also had numerous opportunities to stand up for herself or get help but she did not. She just keeps letting him drag her around and lock her up and abuse her. Many women do not have the ability to fight back but she certainly did. The story is rather ridiculous.
This man must be kidding himself or he's in deep hallucination. On one hand he wants to keep his mistess and continue to have fun with her. On the other hand he abuses his wife, treats her disrespectfully and still can't let go of her even after their divorce. You tell us which woman in the world will stick to a msn like him no matter how much he tries tp placate her by trying to be still caring about her. He better go back to his gold digging greedy for money mistress.
