Nice to see you doing an old kit ,looks good , the trouble is we are spoilt these days with modern methods, but bearing in mind things have to start somewhere, i have built in the past a few frog kits ,and later the nova kits ,it teaches you the basics skills of modelling witch is a good thing . Thanks for sharing this build Kevin.
Its strange to see one of these early kits being built so fastidiously. When I was making two bob Airfix model aircraft back in the 60s flashing was removed by my fingers, my penknife or very occasionally a craft knife. Polystyrene cement was applied quite liberally and any solidified globules left were soon disguised with a generous coat of matt Humbrol paint applied by brush. My friends and I were not after a superb finish, we had never seen a skilfully built model, but we revelled in the models that we made and the aircraft that they represented.
Nice work on this old kit!
Thanks for posting it.
A most enjoyable watch 👍👍
Thanks Jeff..
