  • Google does not allow me to correct the translation to English any more. I am sorry for some misleading subtitles.
At Catholic Mass, August 11, 2024, Epjesians 5,21-32 and John 6,60-69 is read.
To better understand the verses I had to read also verses 52-59.
Pope Francis focused on Peters words "Master, to whom shall we go?"
The 12 remained with Jesus because they knew Jesus' Gailean Aramaic.
When Jesus talked about his body and blood he may have said to we must do what he does glorifying Alaha (the Aramaic name of God) and feel its breath and see its light that lives in Jesus.
The others maybe left because they felt illuminated enough by Jesus and being poor, had to go back to work or home.
The Greek who wrote John did not understand the Aramaic metaphore word pagreh and Haye, Having not been in Capernaum, the Greek draw his own conclusions that those who left, did leave because they did not understand Jesus' words. Jesus would have understood if they did not understand him and he would have explained with other words like he has done with some parables.
I have taken the communion for many years. I felt good at doing that. I felt the presence of Jesus doing that.
Today with my studies in Aramaic I feel his presence without taking the communion. I love Jesus wh has led me to study his language and with these helps me see the light of Abwoon (another more descriptive Aramaic word for God, used by Jesus in the Lord prayer.)
The Aramaic gospel that was found in St Catherine in Sinai is now in London. Pope Francis must have access to some other copy of an old Aramaic script as well as help from a Aramaic speaking scholar.
Pope Francis has already mentioned that the death of Jesus maybe was not like we have believed so far. What comes next?
I hope that he will find way with jesus' help to uncover the light that Jesus once shared.
