That's not the way it works. This has been a credible piece, properly researched and checked by lawyers. Whether he's broken any laws is for the police to decide, but either way, it says much about his character.

Of course time can cause the degrading of DNA evidence or the defence lawyer can offer the defence that the witness/victim was incorrect. Either placing doubt in the Jury`s mind or the witness/victim had forgotten some important detail.

When Brand started down the David Icke path of calling out the establishment on their antics, it was just a matter of time he was attacked in this way.
If Brand had just kept to his 'comedy' and dwindling TV career, they wouldn't have bothered with him regardless of his antics and these accusers wouldn't have been heard from. But he didn't and we are where we are. We should all question the timing of this in relation to Brand's comments and ever-increasing popularity on the likes of UA-cam, Rumble and his stand up tours. People were listening to him and thinking for themselves on serious matters ~ and the establishment couldn't have that.

@@chkldstgee2433 Depends how far you go... Whatever you may think of Icke, he is a solid researcher and tenatious with it. He found out plenty of dodgy goings on with the establishment in the UK, USA and EU then wrote and spoke about them. His ultimate conclusions were wild and concerning for sure (Lizard Overlords) but much of what he discovered leading up to that point is quite interesting and certainly thought provoking.
No, what I meant was Brand was on a similar path, calling out the establishment, going against their narrative (as Icke did) and it was only a matter of time before he got too close or too popular to be allowed to continue. With Icke they attacked him on his lizard overlord stuff and implied insanity, with Brand his sex addiction and alledged crimes. Either way the result's the same, defame, defund and ultimately cancel.
We also have to remember, that it's Channel 4 who first bought it to our attention with it's Dispatches program. The very same channel who bought us fine shows like Eurotrash, Naked Attraction, and Naked Education where adults expose themselves to schoolkids.

Interesting comment about these shows because Alex Mahon was appointed to be the CEO of Channel 4 in 2017 . Yet episodes of naked attraction continued to be produced and aired . Beginning in 2019 , Channel 4 and the Times used the resources of journalists , over 4 years , investigate Russell Brand .
Its becoming clear this is not about Brand 's past behaviour , but rather silencing him .

I have never been a fan of Russell Brand, and I think he probably treated women as objects through much of his life. Inexplicably to me, lots of women found him attractive. No, very few people who are sexually assaulted go to the police because of the trauma and the humiliation of admitting something like that. Then there is the fact that less than 1% of sexual crimes result in a conviction. The trial is also demeaning and someone’s sexual history and behaviour are all made public. You can see why few people want to go through this.
Going to the police over sexual assault only prolongs the trauma. 2 % of reported rape results in a conviction. 98% don't. I imagine since Me Too, the police have improved their response, but at the time these events allegedly happened, the police would have been the LAST place a victim would want to go.

They work for the ‘Establishment & Co’ in the big building in the big city that says ‘Establishment’ in bright neon letters. Channel 4 news have been challenging the government and corruption forever, the government have wanted to take them off air for a long time because they’re such a nuisance and provide rigorous journalism in order to get to the truth, do you even watch Channel 4 news? One strange thing about this situation is that there is quite a lot of evidence that Brand put and end to his promiscuous ways about ten years ago, since when he has tried quite hard to be a better person. He has even reached out to some of the women he mistreated and tried to put things right. It therefore seems strange that it is only now that his victims have seen fit to put their complaints into the public domain. There is a distinct smell of a stitch-up, though as Mr Farage points out, Brand did give his accusers a rope with which to hang him.
He's changed his ways....that does not mean that because he no longer sexually assaults women , he cannot be held accountable for what he did before his saintly makeover.

Yes, he did. He had been doing The Trews News which was along the same sort of style as his more recent stuff. Then he did a lot of wellness stuff. I expect if he was stil doing mainly meditating breathing exercises with a much smaller audience we would almost certainly NOT be hearing anything about whatever he has or hasn't got up to in the past. Have to say though I never liked Brand. I found him loud, abrasive, unlikable and just not that funny. This isn't to say that he doesn't have anything valid to say, nor occasionally exposes salient points about what is going on. He is unquestionably right about some issues, & has his own personal experience to speak about them.
But that's completely separate from his conduct as a human being.
I can't stand him personally. But that doesn't mean that I've made up my mind until & unless due process in court has taken place. But certainly there is plenty of evidence already out there - just from his own mouth & written word that points to a deeply unsavoury person.

I remember when they went after Nigel, said some incredibly sensitive things about his wife, and then doxxed his whereabouts to far left militants who luckily weren't armed or bad minded, could have caused a murder.
Who started the investigation? WHY did they start it?, who commissioned it? How did the reporters know who to contact? What actual evidence do they have other than anonymous women saying it happened to them?. Are those women being paid for being on the programme?. Why has no woman gone to the police before?. Why was the evidence not given straight to the police rather than sending out well prepared, multiple press releases?. There is no chance of a fair trial now, but he has been trialled and cancelled by media all in 24 hours. For some time now people have said in the comments under his videos, watch out they will come for you. They found his soft underbelly. There are powerful people who will be happy to see Russell go.
