Back three is the way to go. Always preferred it, even in previous FM's where you didn't even have the WCB's. They really opened the door for more back 3 tactics.
As soon as I have brought in 3 hard working and defensively competent midfielders (who are basically all-rounders) I love moving the wing backs up to defensive wingers. It's probably my favourite role in the game. Aaron hickey is an either footed player which makes the defensive winger so much stronger

One question, how come you didn’t use Wide Centre-Backs?
I would if I wanted a wide centre back to deliver crosses and I was using a winger on attack otherwise it’s only a BPD with stay wider

Interesting.... but why did you choose double bpd instead of the new WcB role??
Because the BPD can stay wider without doing crosses whilst the BPD is the sort that will push up vertically as well.
