This was spectacular. Jason Storey is a real-life Jedi Master.
Jason S is so knowledgeable about seemingly everything. Love the weekly streams!
Great job for making a compilation of all of these tips that have been coming up on the streams! Jason S is such a goldmine for tips
I really hope Jason releases more videos on his channel, he is a real master of his craft.
This is good content! I especially liked that you opened the video directly with a tip and that it was illustrated in Unity. It would be awesome to have all the tips being illustrated! Sorry for suggesting more work for you. Cheers!
Oh, Handles! That will be very handy addition to my toolbox! Thank you! :)
My god, this video just start and already solve one of my biggest problems
Omg, the "using static..."-tip at around 14 mins, will save me SO MUCH TIME!! Thanks!
I have three shortcuts that are immensely helpful i think:
Shift + A -> Toggle Object Active
Shift + E -> Open selected Asset in Explorer (works in project window)
Shift + Alt + Q -> Isolate selected Hierarchy (hide all objects not part of the selected hierarchy)
I hope someone finds these useful, but you need to set them yourself
Bonus: Alt + W to maximize current Window which is super helpful for shadergraph or scene view
This was great. It is incredibly pleasurable to find something I haven't found for hours or days in a video I watched randomly. Developers of all levels can learn things from your videos. Thank you so much!
So many great tips!
Actually... I love that glitch transition, that's soo cool!
this is great !!!!! please de more of these!
Just so you don't go crazy, of you have 2 inspectors and/or a locked one, sprite shape editors are not going to work properly for some reason.
So if you are not able to edit a sprite shape, check if you have a locked inspector.
click an object in your hierarchy and press 'alt + p' to open its properties in a new window
Regarding the "eye" button for hiding things, DONT forget to ALSO click the "enable hidden" which is located underneath the main menu on the top-left side - I just spent 15 minutes trying to figure out why I couldn't hide objects!
Thank you :3
Professor Storey - needs a jacket with elbow patches, and a grey beard (So they can shout these tips from the mountain top for him).

Jason is a master! Great info. He have a channel?
wow. I didn't know about gizmos in game view.
Gyzmos are really useful for bigger projects where you are not using a renderer or just have a simple manager. Oh extra tip the debug mode in the inspector does not display any public static variable. Use static variables with caution
hey Jason! I have been watching a lot of uncle bob (on your advice, thanks) and was wonder if you always do test driven development? thinking of converting my current game that only has a few thousand lines as of right now but that is still quite an endeavor.
Wow. I must have done debug made because I had that problem.
Jason knows Unity
How do the courses work does the full path course give you access to the architecture course? Also is there a limit to how long you have access for them or are they lifetime access?
Fun fact before unity add the hide options i use the set activities check book for this but now i don't have to do that
What version? I don't see that "show properties" on right click menu...
From 2020 and on
Jason Weinmann
where can I see the full show?
why do all the Jason's have the same background furniture and lights :D
OMG how much time I waste with Scene view and Game view side by side.
