Adam is super solid. His 2020 season he showed great improvements over the season with his highlight being Texas most notably. And while 2021 wasn't the year many were expecting he didn't do to bad. I personally feel like they made too many vast changes over the off season. Going from the 3.4 stroker 2JZ to the 3.0 was a fine move. But all the suspension changes, added weight and huge tire I feel really affected the cars performance. He seemed to be fighting feeling in the car compared to the previous year. Its like what happened to Forsberg in 2019 with his Z. He went up in weight to get a bigger tire. But having that weight made the car sluggish and not very responsive. Also made it prone to wash out (What happened to him at St. Louis in 2019 year.) and harder to keep up with lighter more nimble cars. The bigger tire makes you faster at a fast track like Seattle or Irwindale... but sacrificing that balance on other tracks. The RTR Cars can get away with it because of their huge bodies, suspension geometry, and how those cars are built and handle. Where as a 370Z and a S15 do much better being lighter and more nimble. Which also fits Adams driving style more... as we see in competition and even doing fun events, he likes to really throw the car to angle quickly and do snappy fast transitions. The old setup seemed more suited to that. Where the new setup definitely seemed to be more about slowing all of that down. I feel if he had a setup similar to Forrest, Odi or Piotr he would have had a better year. Still 2021 was a rough year for a lot of good drivers. Many having mechanical's and some just not driving at the level we know they can drive. But it was also a break out year for guys like Denofa, Field, Dylan Hugh's, and Kazuya Taguchi. And even Mohan in the last few events after getting his own car sorted and making changes. Looking forward to 2022 and seeing how all of these drivers do this year.
Yknow sitting back and looking at his runs singled out, you really can’t knock him as a driver too much. For being someone with around 5-6 years of track time, and only being pro for half of that, he has shown flashes of greatness. When he gets comfortable and can keep his composure during comps, I can see him him being a real competitor
I just realized he was much better than I thought, I was already a fan of him but damn. Now that he also switched teams, it's going to be so much more fun watching what they will do. As well as all the new cars teams are gonna be bringing into the new year.
after seeing him in the mustang, he definitely seems more comfortable on the s15. everything looks cleaner and calculated compared to the mustang. but what do I know. maybe he just need to get used to the mustang and it's big size.
He just a hype boi , A guy who makes up excuses and doesn’t fix his car which doesn’t add up he has money to buy cars but he doesn’t have the guts to actually fix his pro car,and jumps on to JR‘s team he’s not going last long Not to hate but is the truth it’s like you spent all your money to build a professional drift car and give up on it and then one season and decide to jump on somebody else’s team because he’s lazy and on top of that he buys more cars instead of fixing the pro drift car why are you getting into pro drifting if you’re you’re not gonna fix your professional drift car and make improvements And another thing to be honest I see other professional drivers fix their own cars on off-season instead of buying more cars when you can use that money to invest into your own team so I’m sorry to say this he gonna last and he’s lazy and makes of 1 billion excuses to

this didnt age well at all lmaoooo. not only were a delusional hater like dude above said, but he left to learn, grew, and now is back in an even better car, and is doing not only FD but the biggest drift comp in eur, drift masters. smh lol
Saying he can't drift.. Let's see you gather up some friends, make an FD team and drift with the big boys. This was Adams second year with the big boys, going against guys who have been doing this for a while longer than him. Lets see you do what he does, and better, before you talk smack on this man, alright?
@@percman4969 I follow alot of people on the drift scene everyone except Wataru and I haven't seen anyone other than him drive his pro car and no other "pro" has driven it and said such. Maybe you can point me towards who said that and the time frame I'd love to stand corrected.

I believe it was Pat Goodin who I recall Adam passing the keys to the S15 to. Pat asked him how the hell he even drove the thing.
I love how aggressive Adam is in the s15!, let's hope he does the same after a while in the Mustang!
This man will comeback stronger
time aged really well. he’s now as you probably know a member of RTR driving a mustang now for fd and it’s getting way better
he can be a champ he just needs a lot of strict coaching which is why he is on rtr, as much as i love him he needs a lot of work
He's getting there
Look how good he is in the lead run from Atlanta
Is was there for the very first round at atl

Dan Burnett should put Adam in his place
Spoofer wouldn't drive nails
Mostly I think he only does great in the lead runs
Adam did a lot better with this car.i fill like he was just getting use to this car
Who wants to challenge me in fr legends
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🤙🏻👌🏻🔥🔥🔥🤠👌🏻
Imo he should have stayed in pro spec
yeah bro you should have went to FD instead
@@KiingTx yeah I think I would have done better
I could do better than him in fr legends
