Welcome back Eddie!!! So happy to see you back again! Looking forward to all the new videos of your adventures and other shenanigans 💚 Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours! 🎄🎆
Good to hear from you Eddie. I have a trailer just like yours. It is a Kendon. Made in california . Very convenient . I did buy another ramp to go with it . Wider and longer .
@@PurpleOnThree Indeed. I was towing the unit after the sun came down and you can’t even see it (other than the small tail lights) the more chances of being seen the better it is.
Looks like a nice addition to haul the bike. I go back and forth on getting a trailer. Here in the USA you can rent very nice motorcycle trailers from U Haul for about $25/ day...and they work great. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Eddie.
@@HDVIBE Indeed Rick ! Same here in Canada but I am anticipating a move to Eastern CA or US next year so renting a trailer one way is more expensive. (I am also a real estate investor / landlord, so I often need to haul things up and down so the trailer can be handy for that too)

@@AngelFaceMotoRider These kind of trailers can be used for lots of other things. I often had to borrow my friend’s truck to take yard waste and other crap to the landfill so ….now i can handle it by myself
I would like to see video proof of that. Hee hee Rick always ties / straps our ramp to any pick-up trucks that we load Motorcycles into. The Bike is never running and he often asks a Friend to stand in the bed of the truck to catch the Bike. Your Triumph Trophy is much bigger and heavier and your trailer bed could pivot on the rear wheels, it's going need to be very well attached to your vehicle to prevent this. Looking forward to see a video of how you load it up.! 🏍😺
Very reasonable price and seems quite sturdy. May I suggest using the rachet straps that hold the ramp in their storage location, could also hold the ramp in place when loading the bike. I'm afraid the ramp might kick out from underneath when giving a little throttle while driving/walking it up.
@@MyADV360 Yes, the ratchets are holding the ramp and the folding section against the frame, so it has a dual purpose. (I don’t like the original rubber latch. The handle broke off when I tried to latch it on the first day) In the ratchet straps we trust ! 🤣
The trailer actually looks super sturdy. I agree that it's a shame that the ramp doesn't have some kind of a lip, or a stopper to prevent it from slipping off when backing your bike off the trailer. Spare tires are pretty much optional on almost any type of trailer, so that doesn't surprise me. I'm looking forward to the day you show up hauling that trailer, Eddie 😁👍 (With your bike on it of course)

It use to be you could find a very small basic Utility Trailer for $200 to $500, but since Covid that seems to be nearly impossible. You might call me crazy but I found a small handmade trailer for a mere $180. It's set-up to hold 2 Motorcycles and uses a tent trailer axel. Mine has 13" wheels and no box, just a old plywood floor that needed repainting 5-years ago. Hee hee It was registered in Albert and given a VIN, so its legit. I gave the seller $200 cash and he delivery it to my house. Here is the crazy part, I have No vehicle that can pull a trailer. LoL
@@AngelFaceMotoRider I decided to invest in a new one because I can work it for my landlording side hustle. (and I might place it in a rental platform, like Airbnb for RVs and trailers and get back money back that way)
I am not sure how it works in BC, but here in Alberta you do not need Insurance for the Trailer itself. All you need is Registration that comes with a Plate. It's about $99/year for a Car, about $75/year for a Motorcycle... but about $250 for a Trailer.! 😲 That's more then I paid for the old little trailer I bought. I think they classified mine an 1983 custom build. 😲 The flip-side is that for $250 is Registered & active Plate for LIFE.!
