Can we see a hardware store in Kursk?
There are other English speaking youtubers making local content from that region already.

It was meant sarcastically, I suppose😁
You can see it, go there and shoot your video.
Foodstuffs and medicines have not been subject to sanctions. But the 9% inflation has eaten people's wages, so they can no longer afford to buy any foreign food - that's why there are no more customers in the shops. So these products stay on the shelf year after year...
90% товаров производится в России!
10% это импорт, который мало кто покупает, потому что российский аналогов очень много и очень хорошего качества и в 10 раз дешевле!
Поэтому импорт нахер никому не нужен! А деньги у народа есть!

Hello Russell, it would be really great if you film a supermarket in Sudzha. I’m sure the shelves will all be full and no sign of those nasty sanctions 🙂
Скажи, тарасик, как там в Сумах дела? Хоть одно здание целое осталось? Скоро и этого не будет.

NOTHING from this store was readily available 30-35 years ago... except maybe some screws...☹
Maybe this has something to do with the fall of Communism...
How do you know that? What city did you live in 30 years ago to write this? In Moscow?

Leroy Merlin opened 20 years ago, in 2004, and other stores operated before it.

What matters is if it is true or not. Do you claim that most of what one sees in Leroy-Merlin was readily available in USSR, or even in Moskow?

I am a Jew from Кыштым.

And therefore... ? I was talking about the epoch before 1990 (35 years ago) - before the fall of Communism and the liberalization of the economy.

Вот именно с конца 80х, а не после ВОСР. С конца 80х, когда предатель Горбачев решил продать социализм американцам.
Great video. Interesting to see what hardware stores are like in Russia.
Yeah, Hardware stores are really rare in other parts of the world, so it's worth admiring these goods made in the West. But unfortunately for the Russian consumer, these prices are often prohibitively expensive...
