Truck looks rad! I've had bad luck with flat clear coat on hard bodies as well. Hard bodies are challenging for sure.

Did you make new links to match the wheelbase or did you buy some?
I bought them. Shrinkrc had a link to an axial link set I needed. Worked great
What’s the wheelbase? 12.3?
11.4". If you get the shrink rc mounts, they list the axial link kit ya need. Obviously custom links would work as well
