Sorry for the loss of your friend Casey😔,but happy for the memories you've had with him, my heart goes out to his family🙏, Gage, you'll get the next one,I know it's hard to miss, but its a humbling lesson as a Hunter, I do know this👍
As we get older, we use our brains to think of how to help our children excel. It was a tough break for your son . Like you said , it will help him in life! You never have true success until you have had some failures! Too many people today think that life should be easy. If your life is easy , then you are not trying to excel!
This episode has an excellent message. Thank you for sharing. For Gage, great job staying composed. I've missed, and all the why, how, what happens runs through your mind. Way to stay persistent!! Go Team Hush
I watched my boy miss for the first time this past season. It was a javelina, twice. The tears in his eyes meant a ton to me though. He cares that much that missing a javelina made him upset. I liked that passion he displayed.
Casey, your time spent with your kids, teaching them about hunting/life is admirable. Gage's miss is another of those life lessons we have to deal with and learn from. Thanks for sharing, I absolutely love you guys and your content.
A great moment as a father! It’s good to show him how to accept failure and move on. Things happen and it doesn’t always work out sometimes our fault sometimes just the way it works out. Keep your head up and keep at it. It’s called hunting for a reason! Awesome video
I'm very sorry for your loss. Keep in touch with his family. With their father gone, they'll be needing a mentor. But then, I don't need to tell you that. You're a good man and you're raising your kids right.
Just being out there is a learning experience in itself. We all miss. But in due time you will hit your mark. Good job Gage!!! Sorry for your loss Casey!! God Bless and good luck on the next hunt.
Great story line. Nothing more true then doing everything to it’s fullest. Really sorry to hear of your friend. Thoughts and preyers to you and his family.
Totally awesome. Great job Casey. You and Kayli are doing a great job raising your kids. Gage don’t be hard on yourself. You are learning. One day your shot will hit the mark and you will have success. Just never give up. So sorry to hear about your friend Casey. Praying for his family. Thanks for sharing. Take care, see ya :).
Great video, if you look close his first shot was at the goofy bull in the herd, not the small 6. Still would have been awesome either way because it’s about the memories!
Man I had to be rough on you with Gage missing that elk and like you said Casey if we haven’t missed, we haven’t hunted long enough yet !you’ll get the next one Gage ! Thank you for sharing.
The best times hunting in my life was teaching my oldest son to hunt. Getting a young hunter to harvest an animal is tough. It’s mostly a process of building for the future.
Way to keep that family close! Next time Guage!! I have been there a time or two! and great words on Jason he is missed by many very sad for sure! just goes to say you never know! When a local guys passes it really sucks..
I would think with the Hush connection to Weatherby you could get him a left handed rifle so the stock butt fits correctly to the cheek? Spending hunt time with the boys is the best!
It makes you feel like total dog crap. This sucks now but will definitely be a great lesson learned! Find the good in the “bad”! Great video and lessons to be learned!
Why isn't this young man wearing ear protection? Especially when shooting multiple times using a muzzle brake, not like there wasn't adequate time to put them in. Take care of them ears you only have one set.
That’s a valid point but my thought process is always to take as much off the kids plate as I can so they can really just focus on making a great shot and not worry about anything else. But I do see the value in having them know and understand exactly what’s going on.
I WOULD BET ALOT….SCOPE COST YOU GUYS THAT BULL. AND MANY OTHER CRITTERS IN THE PAST IF YOU REFLECT BACK. I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE DAY1 VTX GUYS…AND GOOD FOR YOU FOR BEING LOYAL, BUT YOU ALSO HAVE STAKED YOUR REP ON ETHICS. DONE A GOOD JOB OF IT AS WELL, BUT I CANT I AGINE YOURE NOT AWARE OF THE INCONSISTENCY IN THE LINE OF SCOPES….OPTICS AND JENKY TRIPODS AND OTHER GEAR ARE ONE THING BUT SCOPES ARE PRECISION MEASURING DEVICES. SHOULD BE THE LAST PLACE TO BE NEGLIGENT. OR STIP DIALING AND SHOOTING PAST 300
Part of hunting is missing and disappointments, but I can't understand why you would have him shooting lefthanded with a righthanded weapon? He is always going to be left handed, for goodness sake get him a left handed rifle that he can grow proficient with, and have confidence in!

Wise words at the end, for sure. Everyone misses, and failing is an important part of life. It all depends on what you do after you fail.
From a dad with a young son, this one hits home. Great message from an outstanding crew!

Excellent work! I have missed! Failure is a part of success! Learn from failures and the success will be that much greater! 👏🏼🙌🏼💯🔥
Casey, props to you for keeping it together during that intro. Gage, keep at it kiddo. Thanks for the content boys
No shame, it’s about the journey, not the destination. Love you guys, and all that you do.
We sure appreciate it!

Gage using the wrong side of the binos was hilarious
Love you guys! Keep your head up Gager, we are all with you buddy!

Love this video. Great voice over. As a dad of 9 and 4 this made me tear up. But in a good way. You guys are the best.
We appreciate the kind words. The memories you will make with those 2 in the woods will be amazing!
Sorry to hear about your loss of a good friend!
I appreciate that! We definitely lost a good one.
Great story line. Nothing more true then doing everything to it’s fullest. Really sorry to hear of your friend. Thoughts and preyers to you and his family.
We all miss Gage, you’ll learn it from every time 👊🏽🤙🏽. Keep going…
Rip Jason loved and never forgotten! RIP!
Great video and better message. With a dad like yourself, your boys will do well in life.
Hushin is the best!!
Excellent short film.
That lil dude is so cool
Totally awesome. Great job Casey. You and Kayli are doing a great job raising your kids.

You’re doing right by those kids man good job ….. always another bull and another hunt
Much appreciated and love the perspective.
It makes you feel like total dog crap. This sucks now but will definitely be a great lesson learned! Find the good in the “bad”! Great video and lessons to be learned!
8:57 big mule deer left of screen, you saw it
Thoughts and prayers for the family and friends 🙏🙏🙏
Ha .. nice Tucker audio clip 👍
So many elk !
I watched it again. He was hit. Casey saw it to. The bull slowed down and 30 elk passed him up. Blood on the front left shoulder.
A little more practice with the gun at different ranges, all good. It happens to us all . 👍
That was a good hunt the boy probably missed because those vortex scopes aren't reliable for tracking with the turrets.
Sheeeesh sometimes seeing elk makes it feel like it was a successful hunt to be honest!
Can u tell me the name and model of the tripod head that you are using on the spotting scope?
Outdoorsmen Fluid Head. A little spendy but by far my favorite tripod set up I’ve ever used.
@@gethushin Thank you for the reply , a big fan from Italy
The bull was limping in the front end. I could see something on his shoulder.

Missed a 400+ bull at 350. Worst day of my life
Oh man that’s a tough one but the experience and memory will last a lifetime time.
What caliber?
people who saw it when they were playing catch
I think a dope chart should be written out for the gun and gage and dad should both have it so they can check range dial and shoot

@@gethushinI’m the same way. Sometimes it can bite one in the butt though.
Got to love some Daft Punk. One more time were gonna celebrate oh ya alright
Gage needs more work with that weapon.

First like a ford

Maybe I'm the only one that caught it, and I truly don't care cause I'm a mechanic, but you missed an edit...
What?
Maximum disrespect for this clickbait!!!
