It's getting worse,... doesn't matter the rank at this point there is at least 1 or 2 cheaters in a match. ive got 2 wins this week and before this got bad i would get like 20 + wins by now. My friend that is a pretty big noob to apex is even getting them in his low mmr lobbies its insane how blatant they can be and not get caught.

Honestly, same, I was going to get to diamond and than stop ranked till split, but tbh, I had two really bad days in life and they were followed up by cheater heavy ranked lobbies, so i stopped playing till split. 😂
Endless spiral of getting Diamond, back to plat. Matchmaking is brutal to Solo Q and then all the cheaters suddenly appear once you hit Diamond or at least they multiply by 10. And yeah, shamelessly aimbotting or wallhacking at the very least. At least in the past they toggled off when they see they were being spectated, now they don't give a single flying f--k. Report button is as useless as ever.
i fully stopped playing the game for about a year and half now due to two main reasons 1) the match making is god awful, im a high gold/low plat player with a kd of 1.2 and every lobby i was put in was with diamonds,masters and preds. 2) the cheaters. i would say 1 in every 5 games i would run into someone who just had god tier aim or who just knew where i was. im talking full prefire around the corner i tried take or every time i peaked to check if they were moving closer. i have played this game since season 2. i have over 2000 hours, i love the game. its a great game with good movement and fun fights. but i just can't play it anymore, it just made me mad beyond anything else. now i dont mind losing, its a BR. the odds of you winning a game are always low. when i end season season 2 i had 100 wins total for my account, when season 3 came around i end with the highest amount of wins i ever got in a season which was around 300. ill get back to why the amount of wins is important if you keep reading. as every new season came i played and enjoyed, all the way up til season 7 when imo the hacking got really bad. i didnt even finish the battle pass, thats how bad it gotten. now from season 3 to 7 there was always hackers but most of them were rage hacks, you know spinning around, insta 180s, not even hiding it at all. but started in season 7 came the soft cheaters, the wall hackers and the soft aim locks. you know the stuff thats harder to catch and it just kept getting worse and worse. with every passing season i would come back and do the battle pass, play the events but it just became harder and harder each season with the amount of hackers, i would hope each event/season would bring a ban wave. it would get better in some seasons and in others it felt like nothing was done. now with soft cheats going hay wire and match making being at the all time worse. it became impossible to win, my win rate went to shit. now like i said before i dont care if i win or lose. im just playing the game for gun play and the movement, thats how i have fun. now you can say my SBMM wasnt right in season 2 or 3 and thats how i got all those wins and now im being placed in a skill bracket meant for me but heres where im gonna tell you my wins per season... it went from on avg of 100/150 wins a season down to 50 wins a season if im lucky. most of my seasoned ended with 25 wins or around that. now i was playing the same amount as i was before, i tried playing the meta legends, using the meta guns. i did the aim training and the in depth legends guilds and my wins never went back to anything above 50 a season. nothing worked and i know i said i didnt care about winning the game and thats true but what i do care about is winning gun fights. what made the game fun for me was the gun play, the movement, just everything but winning the match itself. but when it got to the point where im being one magged by every single person i run into or someone has a bunny hop script going and they are quite impossible to hit. i just had enough. i said screw this game and i hard quit. i still have friends who play the game daily and say nothing has changed, the soft hackers still run the show, the rage hackers arent getting banned fast enough and the match making is still awful. now if you read all of this, thank you. i really mean it, thank you for taking your time to read all of what i had to say, it means alot that you are trying to give a voice to the player base.
4k hours and I’ve finally actually quit stuck d3/d4 dying every game against cheating preds or cheaters boosting 3x animated banner preds who have been doing this forever apparently. I’m just sick of it. I have an easier time fighting pros than I do some random d1 default skin lifeline who insta 1 clips me. Unbelievable how bad things have gotten and it’s really sad
1/10 games is good. Rest is just a shitfest of matchmaking at its finest - triple controller Pred stacks, cheaters and (if you solo q) fills literal NPC's (golds, plats and sometimes people who played the entire split day in day out just to get to diamond and cant even average 300 damage). Such a fun game we have. Movement mechanics is the only reason this game is still (somewhat) alive to be fair, in NO other game people would stick thus long.

And it’s not because the skill ceiling has risen, no it’s because of the metric sh!t ton of cheaters. Same man, also 4k hours; I've stopped grinding rank now after almost every match I get are cheaters, and boosted preds with 1 or 2 cheaters in the team; also a multi-master player and most of them done in solo. Seen a Gold 4 default skin Lifeline in the diamond/master lobbies taking the evac tower then beaming everyone there with the sentinel (headshots mind you)...he was boosting 2 Preds (they don't even move or loot like a pred/master player).
For lack of better words, the games fucked....... Cheaters are running rampant, matchmaking is bat shit awful, servers are barely functioning, public matches are full of cheaters and sweats. As someone that's been here since day 1, I give apex another 16-18 months unless they actually fkn do something.
I feel like their doing the Titan Fall classic, purposely let the game die. Im calling it right now, they will announce a new FPS within your time frame.

That'd be so funny considering after the supposed "upgrade", cheating is WORSE that before so... frankly, doesn't sound like a tinfoil hat theory if we look at what happened after the "update".
I got DC'd from a ranked game yesterday, kicked me to the press " " to enter screen, told me there was an error and I couldn't rejoin the match in progress with my friends. It gave me -60 rp for the round, plus another -60 for forfeiting early, even though it was a server error. Had to wait another 10 minutes as a penalty on top of that.
@thatgreencat7978 It didn't say that for me, it said error connecting to server or something and then would attempt to connect 10 times. Eventually I switched to a different server and it'd work randomly. Happened more times after this comment.
Recently I've been seeing cheaters even in mixtape. lvl 50 accounts who just beam you with the havoc across the map, and always seem to know where you are. Also, tones of Gibraltars bots.
Cheaters are the reason why my friends and I stopped playing this game. It just sucks the fun out of it and isn't worth investing our time into. Same goes for other popular FPS games. I am now looking into other genres of games entirely because of this. Sad that I can't play my favorite games anymore.
It's hard for me to tell when ppl are aimbotting or just OP, but I've definitely seen many people with wall hacks, cause I will see so many ppl running straight towards me when I wasnt making any sound and there's no way they could see me
Cheating has become so bad in nearly all fps games whether we are talking about hard aim bots and wallhacks or input cheating. I’ve gone to prioritizing playing single player or co-op pve games because I don’t think it’s healthy being upset all the time.
Lots of strange killcams in solos and mixtape, perfect preaim moments and such. Like tracking my wall bounce pre-emptively type strange. Maybe they're just built different but who knows. Excited for the aim theory video, mechanics are only getting me so far
I’ve been hardstuck plat for about a week and I haven’t run into to many blatant cheaters that I personally could tell but I have noticed that it seems from my perspective that there’s sort of a backing up of players in plat lobbies that should be higher but can’t get in or stay in because of the cheaters in the higher ranks making them and other slower to rank up players trapped in plat and diamond ranks
It’s not even just diamond+, I’m plat 3 trying to help my homies to plat and we ran into cheaters 3 games in a row, one of which playing with a streamer.
I’m be honest, I’ve thought about cheating and here’s why, it goes so unnoticed, Apex doesn’t care, I’m tired losing every fight, I can’t even play pubs, I think it’s genuinely worse there, specially stats coming out that 35% people cheat in this game… I cammmmeeees thissss close, my only glance of hope is, it’s updated and I can shit on cheaters when their aim bot doesn’t work anymore. But I’ve come to conclusion before I cheat and if they don’t fix it by season 22 I’m just going retire the game, I’ve been playing since season 1 and have had allot great memories, it’ll be sad if it comes to that… but it is, what it is.
To be honest, I decided to stop playing apex since the release of season 21, because of this cheater problem. Look at the developers ignoring it and greedily only thinking about how to get money from the community. Soon this game will be quiet and close like other online games.
I’ve run into multiple cheaters in ranked in just console lobbies.. Something i didn’t used to experience back in earlier seasons, or maybe i just didn’t notice them back then. idk.. it’s maybe 2-3 games out of every 10 games.

I'm a full causal player, I mostly find cheaters in Mixtape runs where they are having like 25+ kills and not even hiding it. Cheaters avoid streamers cause they'll get banned with hard proof. Yet this guy is just admitting it proudly. Yeah cause nothing happens, if its true and he has 33 KDA I don't get how is that not flagging the system or asks for manual overview or something. And this is what makes it frustrating that even guys with proof are not banned. I wish apex would be pay to play at least that would slow it down after ban. But I guess Destroyer just opened the flood gates and since then cheaters just running around more freely.
The game is done. I'm not being a hater I have 8k+ hours played but its done. It's like a dead tree with a rotten interior. It's dead and still standing. It's only a matter of time until a strong breeze comes by and knocks it over. There is literally no way to fix the problems we have and it will never really change. Either accept it or move on. It sucks but it's just the reality. We need to slowly walk away and play other games that respect out time. End of story.

I am experiencing a huge influx of cheaters. In Australia, there is a cheater almost every game but it's more than 1. The reason is that lobbies at higher tiers are small and we play either sweats or cheaters. It is so fristrating. I literally record at least 10 a day if I want to. This is just pubs... not even ranked. Ranked is cheaters from Plat to Ped.
I have full quit as of about a year ago. It ain’t just high level players. I’ve been playing The Finals. Nobody has aim like the average Apex mixtape player, apparently. The amount of time people make a direct beeline towards me behind multiple layers of cover is ridiculous. The levels of accuracy in Apex is uncanny. Not even xDefiant has supposed beamlords like Apex. The amount of times I’ve been pre-aimed in killcams is ludicrous. It’s genuinely an awful experience to play.
This is a general problem in FPS games that is rising with every year. There has been a MASSIVE increase in cheaters over the last 4-5 years. I assume it has to do with the rise of AI and the face that cheating hardware becomes more and more accessible. Anti cheats are not up to par with what cheats can do nowadays.
The last year or two I have noticed cheaters getting way worse. I used to only see them in Diamond+ lobbies, now I see them in pubs, and pretty much across all ranks of lobbies especially like Gold +. I also play several other fps shooters besides Apex, and every single one of them has cheaters. What's even more scary, is that the amount of blatant cheaters is already high -- just think of how many more players are cheating who know how to hide it well, and everyone thinks they are a legit player. The issue is bad and you're not exagerating it at all. Cheating used to be thought of as mostly a "PC-only" type of thing, now there are so many cheats available on console too. I think this is part of the reason why the problem is rapidly getting worse. I remember my son wanting to get a strike pack, and I shamed him not to do it because I know he would be really tempted to cheat with it. I told him there is no joy in gaming if you cheat to win. We need more gamers with this mindset, and less with the mindset of "do whatever it takes to win". Thank you for bringing attention to this subject. I think the only way to really reduce cheating is the same way society has reduced smoking cigarettes. Everyone in our society needs to know that it's shameful and repulsive to cheat, to the point that nobody wants to do it anymore (or at least a lesser amount).
I'm around 1500 hours into the game - I play unranked (casual) with a friend. He gets pretty competitive even for unranked but we've very quickly began getting very blatan cheaters now in every 4/5 games. this is a huge issue for sure. I wish we could get a 'prime matchmaking' system like CS GO did with a verifiable acocunt with a mobile number. won't eliminate the issue but it'd sure damn help

Cheaters are scum and should be permanently banned from online games like fraudsters aren’t allowed bank accounts. Also, cheaters ruin games and can kill them, especially competitive games like this. I stopped playing DayZ because there’s so many cheaters on console it’s just not worth the time to waste on cheaters. At least on apex you can jump in another game, I’ve never come across a blatant cheater myself but I’m dogshit compared to the pros 😂
Thank you for touching on the mental aspect that this game can play in another human beings life, which is way more important than a game. If all this cheating is causing a flux in depression then the severity of cheating needs to be addressed with more vigor

The games state has gotten worse and worse over the past few seasons, as someone who used to grind ranked, even dabbled with competitive, I have completely switched off of apex, whenever I play now every 3-4 games I get aimbotted, and I haven't touched ranked in 2 seasons... It's irritating, it's not fun and I have better things to do with my time. Apex used to be fun, I used to want to grind it, I used to play a lot, achieved all ranks (except for Pred) because the season I tried to go for it, I was already sick of the cheaters and deemed it wasn't worth the struggle for a badge that had less meaning to my ALGS one. The game has simply spiralled out of control.
I've never run into this many cheaters in Apex ever, not even if I counted every cheater I've ran into combined, and I've been playing since season 12 it's ridiculous, I want to stream this game because I genuinely love it, I want my siblings to enjoy this game with me but if even I'm having a hard time against cheaters imagine how they feel, they're just newbies getting shit on by something that isn't their fault whatsoever. They don't even have a chance to fight back and I don't doubt nearly every new player feels like that too
I literally had a teammate on this new season who got 30 kills and laughed at me and the random that we dont cheat since everyone else is doing it. Its pubs and lower ranks as well since you have smurfs and hard carries 6-9 man teams etc and respawn doesn't give a shit. Im convinced they make the cheats and sell them to make more money since they are greedy as fuck.
It's gotten a lot worse over the course of the last seasons. I don't even play ranked, but encounter at least 1 cheater every day in the 1-3 hours I play per day. It seems like Solos has the best potential for them to farm badges on all the legends and level up accounts that way to later sell them. What I can't understand is why they are even able to cheat the way they do. It's extremely easy to decide if someone is a decent player with good aim or if he has a perfect tracking dishing out 29/30 headshots on a flatline mag on a moving target.
I've ran into quite a few cheaters and while it isn't my first time. Seeing them this frequently has scared me and also ruined my chances at the 20 bomb in the new solos mode. And it hurts to put in all this effort just to have it ripped away
Stopped playing for a few weeks because every game was full of cheaters in Singapore region. Picked up the game again a few days ago and had the dream run in Plat 4, went up to Plat 3 in a few hours with only 1 suspected cheater. Getting stuck in Plat3, I noticed the players are getting way better either due to walls/soft cheats, or the hard stuck diamond/master level players are stuck in plat because of cheaters in higher levels (probably both are true). The gaming experience was so different in Plat 3, compared to Plat 4. I couldn’t say for sure if people were cheating but the skill level or cheat level increases dramatically at that level, neither are good for the game or for people like me that should be able to reach diamond.
The last two seasons really made me question how many players are most likely using cronus/strikepacks. "Soft cheating" is more prevalent than blatant hacks.
It's about the SBMM pitting average players against preds, then when the average player get beamed he starts cheating. And apex anticheat is so bad, it does nothing literally, i Uninstalled apex a week ago, this is so frustrating.
I play both Apex Legends but mostly am a die hard Rainbow six player. It sucks that in every match of R6 I get a cheater in my lobby to the point where it’s unplayable just to hop into Apex to face more cheaters. Has forced my duo Q partner to quit gaming and I barely want to play my pc anymore after work
I've stopped playing for well over a year. It's sad to see the state this game is in. I loved it back in 2019 as a season 0 vet. It only got better, season 2 was my fav and I fell in love with Octane's gameplay. My reason for stopping was the matchmaking, and aim assist. As a casual with a 9-5 who doesn't have time to no-life the game the lobbies started getting harder and I started falling behind. I was dying faster and enemies were becoming harder to hit. The last I checked in on this game I was hearing about people using configs to remove recoil and keep doing the bhop exploits and all that jazz. I'm not blaming people who legitimately get better without using crutches, what I blame is the matchmaking for not balancing lobbies properly. It became a thing of luck in the end, or having to lose several times before being placed in a lobby that's more fair and balanced. As someone with limited time, I don't have all day to get beamed drop after drop after drop until I can finally stand a chance in a gunfight where our odds of winning are closer to 50/50. The game just stopped being fair and fun, my friend felt the same. We tried getting back into it and after enough tries just uninstalled again, the stress isn't worth it. If it's not fun, why bother? The radio silence from devs is telling. EA are milking this game for profit and couldn't care less about the players, and it will remain that way until the servers are shut off. It's a shame, I loved this game, I had good times, I made friends. Now all that is just a distant memory.
We all should leave apex right now. Stop playing it. If 10.000 people per day stops playing they will get the message. WE ARE TIRED. WE WANT OUR GAME BACK BEFORE IS DEAD FOR EVER
The cheaters aren't just people with 3rd party devices n aim bot but also people are now 6 manning to 12 manning in a game. I died two games in a row to ppl teaming. It's hard to push out of diamond this season because of how much cheating is happening this season. It needs to be addressed
My heart goes out to all the PC players as a console player. Cheating has become a huge problem in other games as of recent as well (like overwatch) and it really hurts to see these people who are so devoted to their game have to deal with cheaters and I can see them get more and more upset and demotivated to play the game. It really sucks and I hope it gets better.
On console it's cronus and teaming. It's not as blatant as the PC cheats that you see consistently, but as someone with a couple thousand hours on console I can tell when it's happening. Most recently, teaming in solos is frequent and gross. I have a clip of the most blatant teaming I've ever seen and for that clip I have another 20 instances I didn't think to record.
Cheaters can't affect you if you don't play the game 😎 I've stopped playing because I've stopped enjoying the game. It was time to move on with everything EA is doing (or not doing).
I'm Gold, just started playing two weeks ago and I've run into a few people who I definitely think were cheating. But in a lot of my matches I feel like people just always seem to know exactly where I am, I'm probably just bad though. There's definitely a lot of people in my rank that have WAY better aim & game sense than me, which is kinda annoying as a new player. I think the only way to deal with cheaters is by going after the companies/individuals who make the cheats. In Belgium for example, it's impossible to report a website selling cheats, or at least I can't figure out how to do it, and I've tried. Going after the cheaters themselves helps, but it's too easy to just get a new game and start over. The people making these cheats need to be punished, hard.
Basically we need a digital ID and this needs to be verified with real ID or biometrics. This needs to be used to make a games account. This would solve most cheating, because if your digital ID is banned then you can never play that game again.
The second I hit plat2 they throw you in diamond masters lobbies to fill if you have higher mmr. It makes getting to d4 super annoying grind, if it isnt a pred 3 stack it is cheaters killing me. By the time I get diamond I just stop playing now
I quit Apex over 7 months ago and it was one of the best decisions I'd made. Regret every cent I ever spent on this game, but the silver lining is I will never fall into that addiction/trap ever again. This game was causing me way too much stress, and very little enjoyment. Cheaters are the worst, ruining online competitive games, and they are everywhere. Biggest problem for me and I'm sure many others isn't the obvious rage cheaters, it's that deep down we know Apex is not and never will be a level or fair playing ground with all the cheaters. To be fair most if not all competitive shooters are like this and it's a damn shame. You just don't know who has wall hacks, soft aim hack etc., so why bother? Life is too short. Let the fucken cheaters play with each other in lobbies on their own.
I was really close to accomplishing many achievements in apex within the last three weeks, but it always gets cut short by some cheater. This not to say it is always, but it is more frequent than usual. Whether we want to improve, have fun, or grow as Dazs said cheaters make it super hard to engage in those activities. We shouldn’t need to power through playing a game that should be enjoyable
To add some perspective to this cheater situation, there are cheaters who blatantly stream their game while cheating in several titles from different genres. I get that it is hard to control a situation like this, but I think bringing attention will definitely help ease how rigorous this situation is.

I've been playing since season 9. I've always wanted to switch to PC from ps5 but haven't been able to afford to do so until recently. Watching my favorite youtubers and streamers constantly die to cheaters has been the sole reason I decided not to move to PC. it's super disheartening. Thankfully the next gen updates are finally starting to get better and the game is being optimized.

Question: the other day I was playing Ranked , while my teammate was rotating (I was already killed) he took a zip line. Mid line he froze like a server/wifi issue just as that happened he was snipped. He explained that’s another way people cheat. Is that really a thing too ?
As an average platinum player i have no idea if there are cheaters or not. Im so bad at the game that i cannot distinguish between them and people who are just better than me. Guess its dia+ problem.

Respawn is not doing anything to combat these cheaters and that just leaves us og players, ranked players, and casuals to suffer to these cheaters, I cannot enjoy a relaxing game of solos as Wattson, because I am dealing with too many cheaters, I still care for the Apex community, but these cheaters that are destroying the game and the community needs to be banned
An Apex smurf account all leveled up is quite literally going for 1.5 dollars on G2G. Only way they even remotely have a chance at fighting this is upping their manual review team staff count and going hard on improving the anti cheat.
for me perosnaly cheaters is the least of my issues the awful sbm and the awful audio and then the cheaters are the cherry on top making it a unplayable game for me.
Not only cheaters ( you have it easy) but racist, toxic, illiterate people, I don't mind trash talk in fact I come from the golden age of trash talk and me myself I fancy dark humor but people in this game is really racist and toxic. Just cause I have an accent, I'm screamed at and called racial slurs that have not even nothing to do with me as most are so stupid they can't even pinpoint my accent, I speak three languages and able to understand another two. Twenty minutes (average) hearing verbal diarrhea. I have to mute my voice chat ( have it muted for 3 months already) and miss a lot of opportunities to rank up thanks to choosing my sanity over something as simple as communicating. I would take the cheaters any day, at least those know they are trash and need to search for a disadvantage... This game reached it's climax and from here it would go down, there's no community based around the player, not even something as simple as communication with the player, all that it has it's monetization, nothing else matters and because of that, because of not creating a true community around the game and prioritizing the money instead of the player, many have already quitted and more will quit. Apex had good mechanics as PUBG did in its days too, heck PUBG was more impressive than Apex if we take in consideration the initial expectations, but it reached a climax and went all the way down. Apex had less expectations, it surprised everyone but that lasts for a while, it's time for Apex to go down. What the game industry is missing I really good cheat detection, I’ve been playing cs for years and have 6k+ hours on it and lot of hours on other fps. I’ve been banned on warzone for « modification of game files » after 2-3 update bug one after the other, and even the repair bugged. They never hear me and just banned me for life without me be able do to anything to defend myself. I talk to pirate software about this and he said that yeah they need to change the detection technic because these thing shouldn’t happened ..
Ranked is unplayable and solos is a hackerfest and my teammates in pubs are the worst coded AI bots on the market. The game is dead, this is what Respawn does.
Idk. The cheating problem was already tiresome. But removing Duos(I refuse to play Trios) has made me not even touch the game for more than a couple hours all season. I'm over it. Pretty much done with multiplayer games until cheating is fixed all around. Companies need to start Bricking hardware or something lmao.
The cheating makes me not want to play with people anymore. I'll stick to single player games like cyberpunk or red dead or farcry until they fix this.
2:30 in my experience, the closer I am to hk, sg, tw servers the higher the chances that I run into cheaters. And I am by no means a high ranked player, currently g4 and still run into cheaters while I was in silver lobbies.
Im in plat and ppl so dang toxic and all i see on enemy teams is preds and masters and solos is literally just sweats no chance of getting a 20 at all cuz soon as you kill they ape to ruin the experience 😒
My K.D. is around .6-.8 depending on the season. My highest rank ever is somewhere in gold. I've been playing since season 4 and this is one of the worst cheater seasons I've ever seen. So yeah it's a problem for us low level guys too.
I almost never faced cheaters in previous seasons probably because I'm not good enough( I hover around gold and plat) but this season even in glod lobbies are full of cheaters and it's concerning. Most times I don't think the enemy is cheating but now since the re q option exits and when I spectate them they are blatantly cheating.
This is what happens when a group of people are constantly verbally abused . They cease caring if they are hated by those who are legit and lash out doing what they wanna do. and with no one being reasonable theres no one to dissuade them and it worsens.
My friend payed for Cheats they use to have a 0.08 K.D and now there at a 2.7 K.D and made it to Masters they brag online all the time, i feel bad that he now tbags people's box and tell them to uninstall..and constantly says get good..
I’m what I consider an average player (usually float in platinum, hit diamond a couple times and got masters during the free seasons), but I haven’t run into many cheaters at all since S0. Only saw a handful of very blatant aimbot and wallhack users in ranked. Maybe I’ve gotten so used to chalking weird deaths up to scan characters or AA getting a funky looking one clip so I just can’t tell things apart well unless it’s super blatant. Also will mention I’m on NA servers since some people say other servers have a ton of cheaters.
At the start of the season I saw a little bit of cheating while in lower tiers of lobbies but not much. In my last few game sessions of playing in mid gold I would say I say maybe 2-4 people I strongly questioned if there was cheating happening in 2-3 hours of gameplay of ranked. I would say its less prevalent than in the diamond+ lobbies but its already very discouraging and my expectation is for it to only get worse if I play more. I have actually sort of stopped playing apex right now in part because I am enjoying XDefiant but also largely the maps / cheaters / weapon meta.
Its getting worse, I play mix tape alot and its cheater vs cheater out here. Aim scripts, walls, or hard locks, it dont matter. Movement is completely useless and efforts feel wasted. This is slowly going to become Titanfall 2
cheaters have been a huge problem since S19 (even before of course but for 3 season is a very big problem) now i find them every time i play in pubs too. devs needs to wake up or the game won't last another year.
It seems like it depends on time of the day. Sometimes i play soloq ranked (btw plat 2 now) and it is fine. And than i play with my friend and we get random teammates level 150 max (non prestige), mostly guys who are rly new and 5 of 10 games we die on wallhack or aimbot (full headshots). I dont mind harder games (if i dont get newbies in team).. But when you have like 5 of 1 games cheating and than lets say 3 of rest 5 you rly do something bad that costs you the game.. THAT is totaly demotivating to continue in apex this season.

It's getting worse,... doesn't matter the rank at this point there is at least 1 or 2 cheaters in a match. ive got 2 wins this week and before this got bad i would get like 20 + wins by now. My friend that is a pretty big noob to apex is even getting them in his low mmr lobbies its insane how blatant they can be and not get caught.

Honestly, same, I was going to get to diamond and than stop ranked till split, but tbh, I had two really bad days in life and they were followed up by cheater heavy ranked lobbies, so i stopped playing till split. 😂
Endless spiral of getting Diamond, back to plat. Matchmaking is brutal to Solo Q and then all the cheaters suddenly appear once you hit Diamond or at least they multiply by 10. And yeah, shamelessly aimbotting or wallhacking at the very least. At least in the past they toggled off when they see they were being spectated, now they don't give a single flying f--k. Report button is as useless as ever.

i fully stopped playing the game for about a year and half now due to two main reasons
1) the match making is god awful, im a high gold/low plat player with a kd of 1.2 and every lobby i was put in was with diamonds,masters and preds.
2) the cheaters. i would say 1 in every 5 games i would run into someone who just had god tier aim or who just knew where i was. im talking full prefire around the corner i tried take or every time i peaked to check if they were moving closer.
i have played this game since season 2. i have over 2000 hours, i love the game. its a great game with good movement and fun fights. but i just can't play it anymore, it just made me mad beyond anything else. now i dont mind losing, its a BR. the odds of you winning a game are always low. when i end season season 2 i had 100 wins total for my account, when season 3 came around i end with the highest amount of wins i ever got in a season which was around 300. ill get back to why the amount of wins is important if you keep reading.
as every new season came i played and enjoyed, all the way up til season 7 when imo the hacking got really bad. i didnt even finish the battle pass, thats how bad it gotten. now from season 3 to 7 there was always hackers but most of them were rage hacks, you know spinning around, insta 180s, not even hiding it at all. but started in season 7 came the soft cheaters, the wall hackers and the soft aim locks. you know the stuff thats harder to catch and it just kept getting worse and worse.
with every passing season i would come back and do the battle pass, play the events but it just became harder and harder each season with the amount of hackers, i would hope each event/season would bring a ban wave. it would get better in some seasons and in others it felt like nothing was done.
now with soft cheats going hay wire and match making being at the all time worse. it became impossible to win, my win rate went to shit. now like i said before i dont care if i win or lose. im just playing the game for gun play and the movement, thats how i have fun. now you can say my SBMM wasnt right in season 2 or 3 and thats how i got all those wins and now im being placed in a skill bracket meant for me but heres where im gonna tell you my wins per season... it went from on avg of 100/150 wins a season down to 50 wins a season if im lucky. most of my seasoned ended with 25 wins or around that. now i was playing the same amount as i was before, i tried playing the meta legends, using the meta guns. i did the aim training and the in depth legends guilds and my wins never went back to anything above 50 a season. nothing worked and i know i said i didnt care about winning the game and thats true but what i do care about is winning gun fights.
what made the game fun for me was the gun play, the movement, just everything but winning the match itself. but when it got to the point where im being one magged by every single person i run into or someone has a bunny hop script going and they are quite impossible to hit. i just had enough. i said screw this game and i hard quit. i still have friends who play the game daily and say nothing has changed, the soft hackers still run the show, the rage hackers arent getting banned fast enough and the match making is still awful.
now if you read all of this, thank you. i really mean it, thank you for taking your time to read all of what i had to say, it means alot that you are trying to give a voice to the player base.
4k hours and I’ve finally actually quit stuck d3/d4 dying every game against cheating preds or cheaters boosting 3x animated banner preds who have been doing this forever apparently. I’m just sick of it. I have an easier time fighting pros than I do some random d1 default skin lifeline who insta 1 clips me. Unbelievable how bad things have gotten and it’s really sad
1/10 games is good. Rest is just a shitfest of matchmaking at its finest - triple controller Pred stacks, cheaters and (if you solo q) fills literal NPC's (golds, plats and sometimes people who played the entire split day in day out just to get to diamond and cant even average 300 damage). Such a fun game we have. Movement mechanics is the only reason this game is still (somewhat) alive to be fair, in NO other game people would stick thus long.

Same man, also 4k hours; I've stopped grinding rank now after almost every match I get are cheaters, and boosted preds with 1 or 2 cheaters in the team; also a multi-master player and most of them done in solo. Seen a Gold 4 default skin Lifeline in the diamond/master lobbies taking the evac tower then beaming everyone there with the sentinel (headshots mind you)...he was boosting 2 Preds (they don't even move or loot like a pred/master player).
this game definitely has thousands upon thousands of cheaters.. and there's 750 pred slots.
For lack of better words, the games fucked....... Cheaters are running rampant, matchmaking is bat shit awful, servers are barely functioning, public matches are full of cheaters and sweats. As someone that's been here since day 1, I give apex another 16-18 months unless they actually fkn do something.

I got DC'd from a ranked game yesterday, kicked me to the press " " to enter screen, told me there was an error and I couldn't rejoin the match in progress with my friends. It gave me -60 rp for the round, plus another -60 for forfeiting early, even though it was a server error. Had to wait another 10 minutes as a penalty on top of that.
Was it the invalid anti cheat message? Just made me uninstall lol
@thatgreencat7978 It didn't say that for me, it said error connecting to server or something and then would attempt to connect 10 times. Eventually I switched to a different server and it'd work randomly. Happened more times after this comment.
Recently I've been seeing cheaters even in mixtape. lvl 50 accounts who just beam you with the havoc across the map, and always seem to know where you are.
Also, tones of Gibraltars bots.

Cheaters are the reason why my friends and I stopped playing this game. It just sucks the fun out of it and isn't worth investing our time into. Same goes for other popular FPS games. I am now looking into other genres of games entirely because of this. Sad that I can't play my favorite games anymore.

Cheating has become so bad in nearly all fps games whether we are talking about hard aim bots and wallhacks or input cheating. I’ve gone to prioritizing playing single player or co-op pve games because I don’t think it’s healthy being upset all the time.
Lots of strange killcams in solos and mixtape, perfect preaim moments and such. Like tracking my wall bounce pre-emptively type strange. Maybe they're just built different but who knows.

I’ve been hardstuck plat for about a week and I haven’t run into to many blatant cheaters that I personally could tell but I have noticed that it seems from my perspective that there’s sort of a backing up of players in plat lobbies that should be higher but can’t get in or stay in because of the cheaters in the higher ranks making them and other slower to rank up players trapped in plat and diamond ranks
It’s not even just diamond+, I’m plat 3 trying to help my homies to plat and we ran into cheaters 3 games in a row, one of which playing with a streamer.
I’m be honest, I’ve thought about cheating and here’s why, it goes so unnoticed, Apex doesn’t care, I’m tired losing every fight, I can’t even play pubs, I think it’s genuinely worse there, specially stats coming out that 35% people cheat in this game… I cammmmeeees thissss close, my only glance of hope is, it’s updated and I can shit on cheaters when their aim bot doesn’t work anymore. But I’ve come to conclusion before I cheat and if they don’t fix it by season 22 I’m just going retire the game, I’ve been playing since season 1 and have had allot great memories, it’ll be sad if it comes to that… but it is, what it is.
To be honest, I decided to stop playing apex since the release of season 21, because of this cheater problem. Look at the developers ignoring it and greedily only thinking about how to get money from the community. Soon this game will be quiet and close like other online games.

After playing daily since season 7, I subconsciously stepped away maybe 3 weeks ago when I hit a wall in ranked as a solo. I definitely felt cheater beams alot more this season even up through Gold and Plat.

I'm a full causal player, I mostly find cheaters in Mixtape runs where they are having like 25+ kills and not even hiding it. Cheaters avoid streamers cause they'll get banned with hard proof. Yet this guy is just admitting it proudly. Yeah cause nothing happens, if its true and he has 33 KDA I don't get how is that not flagging the system or asks for manual overview or something. And this is what makes it frustrating that even guys with proof are not banned. I wish apex would be pay to play at least that would slow it down after ban. But I guess Destroyer just opened the flood gates and since then cheaters just running around more freely.
The game is done. I'm not being a hater I have 8k+ hours played but its done. It's like a dead tree with a rotten interior. It's dead and still standing. It's only a matter of time until a strong breeze comes by and knocks it over. There is literally no way to fix the problems we have and it will never really change. Either accept it or move on. It sucks but it's just the reality. We need to slowly walk away and play other games that respect out time. End of story.

I am experiencing a huge influx of cheaters. In Australia, there is a cheater almost every game but it's more than 1. The reason is that lobbies at higher tiers are small and we play either sweats or cheaters. It is so fristrating. I literally record at least 10 a day if I want to. This is just pubs... not even ranked. Ranked is cheaters from Plat to Ped.
Was diamond got demoted back to plat 1 ran into countless upon countless cheaters and teamers... the game is absolutely unplayable

I’ve been playing The Finals. Nobody has aim like the average Apex mixtape player, apparently. The amount of time people make a direct beeline towards me behind multiple layers of cover is ridiculous. The levels of accuracy in Apex is uncanny. Not even xDefiant has supposed beamlords like Apex.
The amount of times I’ve been pre-aimed in killcams is ludicrous. It’s genuinely an awful experience to play.

This is a general problem in FPS games that is rising with every year. There has been a MASSIVE increase in cheaters over the last 4-5 years. I assume it has to do with the rise of AI and the face that cheating hardware becomes more and more accessible. Anti cheats are not up to par with what cheats can do nowadays.
The last year or two I have noticed cheaters getting way worse. I used to only see them in Diamond+ lobbies, now I see them in pubs, and pretty much across all ranks of lobbies especially like Gold +. I also play several other fps shooters besides Apex, and every single one of them has cheaters. What's even more scary, is that the amount of blatant cheaters is already high -- just think of how many more players are cheating who know how to hide it well, and everyone thinks they are a legit player.
The issue is bad and you're not exagerating it at all. Cheating used to be thought of as mostly a "PC-only" type of thing, now there are so many cheats available on console too. I think this is part of the reason why the problem is rapidly getting worse.
I remember my son wanting to get a strike pack, and I shamed him not to do it because I know he would be really tempted to cheat with it. I told him there is no joy in gaming if you cheat to win. We need more gamers with this mindset, and less with the mindset of "do whatever it takes to win".
Thank you for bringing attention to this subject. I think the only way to really reduce cheating is the same way society has reduced smoking cigarettes. Everyone in our society needs to know that it's shameful and repulsive to cheat, to the point that nobody wants to do it anymore (or at least a lesser amount).
I'm around 1500 hours into the game - I play unranked (casual) with a friend. He gets pretty competitive even for unranked but we've very quickly began getting very blatan cheaters now in every 4/5 games. this is a huge issue for sure. I wish we could get a 'prime matchmaking' system like CS GO did with a verifiable acocunt with a mobile number. won't eliminate the issue but it'd sure damn help

Cheaters are scum and should be permanently banned from online games like fraudsters aren’t allowed bank accounts.
Also, cheaters ruin games and can kill them, especially competitive games like this. I stopped playing DayZ because there’s so many cheaters on console it’s just not worth the time to waste on cheaters. At least on apex you can jump in another game, I’ve never come across a blatant cheater myself but I’m dogshit compared to the pros 😂
Thank you for touching on the mental aspect that this game can play in another human beings life, which is way more important than a game. If all this cheating is causing a flux in depression then the severity of cheating needs to be addressed with more vigor

The games state has gotten worse and worse over the past few seasons, as someone who used to grind ranked, even dabbled with competitive, I have completely switched off of apex, whenever I play now every 3-4 games I get aimbotted, and I haven't touched ranked in 2 seasons... It's irritating, it's not fun and I have better things to do with my time.
Apex used to be fun, I used to want to grind it, I used to play a lot, achieved all ranks (except for Pred) because the season I tried to go for it, I was already sick of the cheaters and deemed it wasn't worth the struggle for a badge that had less meaning to my ALGS one.

I've never run into this many cheaters in Apex ever, not even if I counted every cheater I've ran into combined, and I've been playing since season 12 it's ridiculous, I want to stream this game because I genuinely love it, I want my siblings to enjoy this game with me but if even I'm having a hard time against cheaters imagine how they feel, they're just newbies getting shit on by something that isn't their fault whatsoever. They don't even have a chance to fight back and I don't doubt nearly every new player feels like that too
I literally had a teammate on this new season who got 30 kills and laughed at me and the random that we dont cheat since everyone else is doing it. Its pubs and lower ranks as well since you have smurfs and hard carries 6-9 man teams etc and respawn doesn't give a shit. Im convinced they make the cheats and sell them to make more money since they are greedy as fuck.
It's gotten a lot worse over the course of the last seasons. I don't even play ranked, but encounter at least 1 cheater every day in the 1-3 hours I play per day. It seems like Solos has the best potential for them to farm badges on all the legends and level up accounts that way to later sell them. What I can't understand is why they are even able to cheat the way they do. It's extremely easy to decide if someone is a decent player with good aim or if he has a perfect tracking dishing out 29/30 headshots on a flatline mag on a moving target.
I've ran into quite a few cheaters and while it isn't my first time. Seeing them this frequently has scared me and also ruined my chances at the 20 bomb in the new solos mode. And it hurts to put in all this effort just to have it ripped away
Stopped playing for a few weeks because every game was full of cheaters in Singapore region. Picked up the game again a few days ago and had the dream run in Plat 4, went up to Plat 3 in a few hours with only 1 suspected cheater. Getting stuck in Plat3, I noticed the players are getting way better either due to walls/soft cheats, or the hard stuck diamond/master level players are stuck in plat because of cheaters in higher levels (probably both are true). The gaming experience was so different in Plat 3, compared to Plat 4. I couldn’t say for sure if people were cheating but the skill level or cheat level increases dramatically at that level, neither are good for the game or for people like me that should be able to reach diamond.
The last two seasons really made me question how many players are most likely using cronus/strikepacks. "Soft cheating" is more prevalent than blatant hacks.
It's about the SBMM pitting average players against preds, then when the average player get beamed he starts cheating. And apex anticheat is so bad, it does nothing literally, i Uninstalled apex a week ago, this is so frustrating.
I play both Apex Legends but mostly am a die hard Rainbow six player. It sucks that in every match of R6 I get a cheater in my lobby to the point where it’s unplayable just to hop into Apex to face more cheaters. Has forced my duo Q partner to quit gaming and I barely want to play my pc anymore after work
I've stopped playing for well over a year. It's sad to see the state this game is in. I loved it back in 2019 as a season 0 vet. It only got better, season 2 was my fav and I fell in love with Octane's gameplay. My reason for stopping was the matchmaking, and aim assist. As a casual with a 9-5 who doesn't have time to no-life the game the lobbies started getting harder and I started falling behind. I was dying faster and enemies were becoming harder to hit. The last I checked in on this game I was hearing about people using configs to remove recoil and keep doing the bhop exploits and all that jazz.
I'm not blaming people who legitimately get better without using crutches, what I blame is the matchmaking for not balancing lobbies properly. It became a thing of luck in the end, or having to lose several times before being placed in a lobby that's more fair and balanced. As someone with limited time, I don't have all day to get beamed drop after drop after drop until I can finally stand a chance in a gunfight where our odds of winning are closer to 50/50.
The game just stopped being fair and fun, my friend felt the same. We tried getting back into it and after enough tries just uninstalled again, the stress isn't worth it. If it's not fun, why bother? The radio silence from devs is telling. EA are milking this game for profit and couldn't care less about the players, and it will remain that way until the servers are shut off. It's a shame, I loved this game, I had good times, I made friends. Now all that is just a distant memory.

Solos is full of cheaters. Game is hard to play lately with all the blatant cheating even in pubs. Been playing since season 0.
The cheaters aren't just people with 3rd party devices n aim bot but also people are now 6 manning to 12 manning in a game. I died two games in a row to ppl teaming. It's hard to push out of diamond this season because of how much cheating is happening this season. It needs to be addressed
My heart goes out to all the PC players as a console player. Cheating has become a huge problem in other games as of recent as well (like overwatch) and it really hurts to see these people who are so devoted to their game have to deal with cheaters and I can see them get more and more upset and demotivated to play the game. It really sucks and I hope it gets better.
Played about 10 games last night and at least 6 of the games had obvious low rank cheaters. Getting kinda outta hand. Only Plat 2 and Plat 1.
On console it's cronus and teaming. It's not as blatant as the PC cheats that you see consistently, but as someone with a couple thousand hours on console I can tell when it's happening. Most recently, teaming in solos is frequent and gross. I have a clip of the most blatant teaming I've ever seen and for that clip I have another 20 instances I didn't think to record.
Cheaters can't affect you if you don't play the game 😎
I've stopped playing because I've stopped enjoying the game. It was time to move on with everything EA is doing (or not doing).
I'm Gold, just started playing two weeks ago and I've run into a few people who I definitely think were cheating.
But in a lot of my matches I feel like people just always seem to know exactly where I am, I'm probably just bad though.
There's definitely a lot of people in my rank that have WAY better aim & game sense than me, which is kinda annoying as a new player.
I think the only way to deal with cheaters is by going after the companies/individuals who make the cheats.
In Belgium for example, it's impossible to report a website selling cheats, or at least I can't figure out how to do it, and I've tried.
Going after the cheaters themselves helps, but it's too easy to just get a new game and start over.
The people making these cheats need to be punished, hard.

Basically we need a digital ID and this needs to be verified with real ID or biometrics. This needs to be used to make a games account. This would solve most cheating, because if your digital ID is banned then you can never play that game again.
HWID bans do exist, and would slow the cheating down a good bit because not every cheater has the money to throw at replacing pc parts
The second I hit plat2 they throw you in diamond masters lobbies to fill if you have higher mmr. It makes getting to d4 super annoying grind, if it isnt a pred 3 stack it is cheaters killing me. By the time I get diamond I just stop playing now

Pretty good for me, got a 4k badge yesterday playing pubs and won1/3 ranked games.
I quit Apex over 7 months ago and it was one of the best decisions I'd made. Regret every cent I ever spent on this game, but the silver lining is I will never fall into that addiction/trap ever again. This game was causing me way too much stress, and very little enjoyment. Cheaters are the worst, ruining online competitive games, and they are everywhere. Biggest problem for me and I'm sure many others isn't the obvious rage cheaters, it's that deep down we know Apex is not and never will be a level or fair playing ground with all the cheaters. To be fair most if not all competitive shooters are like this and it's a damn shame. You just don't know who has wall hacks, soft aim hack etc., so why bother? Life is too short. Let the fucken cheaters play with each other in lobbies on their own.
The problem is that people take pride in ruining other peoples day. Thats the core of it all
After 1k hours i decided to quit Apex cause it's not worth anymore to play both ranked or casual how bad the MM and Cheating issue is

I was really close to accomplishing many achievements in apex within the last three weeks, but it always gets cut short by some cheater. This not to say it is always, but it is more frequent than usual. Whether we want to improve, have fun, or grow as Dazs said cheaters make it super hard to engage in those activities. We shouldn’t need to power through playing a game that should be enjoyable
To add some perspective to this cheater situation, there are cheaters who blatantly stream their game while cheating in several titles from different genres. I get that it is hard to control a situation like this, but I think bringing attention will definitely help ease how rigorous this situation is.
The amount of people using blatant walls really gets under my skin. You literally just know when someone has walls

I ended up deleting almost all of my games which I paid money for because of all of the cheaters… I’m down to two games and they’re both PVE games.
I've been playing since season 9. I've always wanted to switch to PC from ps5 but haven't been able to afford to do so until recently. Watching my favorite youtubers and streamers constantly die to cheaters has been the sole reason I decided not to move to PC. it's super disheartening. Thankfully the next gen updates are finally starting to get better and the game is being optimized.
my friend loves this game but is trash out of 5 games they will get 1 or 2 kills get destroyed by cheaters but still want to play and i have to try and carry them my qustion is how can i get them to quit and try something new? I'm also sick of apex now..
Just started ranked the other day to escape the solo cheaters, came across cheaters in silver and gold! Might just go into the firing range…am I safe there?
i don't even stream anymore and i get targeted by the cheaters community in multiple matches until i close the game.
I will always stand on the fact we need South Korean Laws implemented into gaming. Cheating & Hacking are punishable by jail, Link our SSN to play Ranked & Competitive ALGS. there's fucking cheaters in ALGS!!!! just look at Warzone, The World Series of Warzone is full of stream snipers, boosting, wallhacks, everthing under the sun!!

Question: the other day I was playing Ranked , while my teammate was rotating (I was already killed) he took a zip line. Mid line he froze like a server/wifi issue just as that happened he was snipped. He explained that’s another way people cheat. Is that really a thing too ?
As an average platinum player i have no idea if there are cheaters or not. Im so bad at the game that i cannot distinguish between them and people who are just better than me. Guess its dia+ problem.

walls are the most prominent cheats rn its hard to spot and gives an insane advantage especially for kill farming or ratting for easy kills

Why tf dont they have national teams to analyze player profiles and games where they were reported? Like that's how tiktok and other platforms keep their posts in check even though it's not perfect it gets shit done
Respawn is not doing anything to combat these cheaters and that just leaves us og players, ranked players, and casuals to suffer to these cheaters, I cannot enjoy a relaxing game of solos as Wattson, because I am dealing with too many cheaters, I still care for the Apex community, but these cheaters that are destroying the game and the community needs to be banned
They get banned and just make another account. They need to be locked away for a year, on the first offense

An Apex smurf account all leveled up is quite literally going for 1.5 dollars on G2G. Only way they even remotely have a chance at fighting this is upping their manual review team staff count and going hard on improving the anti cheat.
for me perosnaly cheaters is the least of my issues the awful sbm and the awful audio and then the cheaters are the cherry on top making it a unplayable game for me.
Not only cheaters ( you have it easy) but racist, toxic, illiterate people, I don't mind trash talk in fact I come from the golden age of trash talk and me myself I fancy dark humor but people in this game is really racist and toxic. Just cause I have an accent, I'm screamed at and called racial slurs that have not even nothing to do with me as most are so stupid they can't even pinpoint my accent, I speak three languages and able to understand another two. Twenty minutes (average) hearing verbal diarrhea. I have to mute my voice chat ( have it muted for 3 months already) and miss a lot of opportunities to rank up thanks to choosing my sanity over something as simple as communicating. I would take the cheaters any day, at least those know they are trash and need to search for a disadvantage...
This game reached it's climax and from here it would go down, there's no community based around the player, not even something as simple as communication with the player, all that it has it's monetization, nothing else matters and because of that, because of not creating a true community around the game and prioritizing the money instead of the player, many have already quitted and more will quit. Apex had good mechanics as PUBG did in its days too, heck PUBG was more impressive than Apex if we take in consideration the initial expectations, but it reached a climax and went all the way down. Apex had less expectations, it surprised everyone but that lasts for a while, it's time for Apex to go down.

What the game industry is missing I really good cheat detection, I’ve been playing cs for years and have 6k+ hours on it and lot of hours on other fps. I’ve been banned on warzone for « modification of game files » after 2-3 update bug one after the other, and even the repair bugged. They never hear me and just banned me for life without me be able do to anything to defend myself. I talk to pirate software about this and he said that yeah they need to change the detection technic because these thing shouldn’t happened ..
Ranked is unplayable and solos is a hackerfest and my teammates in pubs are the worst coded AI bots on the market. The game is dead, this is what Respawn does.
Idk. The cheating problem was already tiresome. But removing Duos(I refuse to play Trios) has made me not even touch the game for more than a couple hours all season. I'm over it. Pretty much done with multiplayer games until cheating is fixed all around. Companies need to start Bricking hardware or something lmao.
The cheating makes me not want to play with people anymore. I'll stick to single player games like cyberpunk or red dead or farcry until they fix this.
tons of cheaters in asia lobbies. i just stop after i hit d4 for the past few seasons despite having gotten masters multiple times in other seasons.
Meeting at least 2 cheaters last days per day , i was grinding plat to diamond
2:30 in my experience, the closer I am to hk, sg, tw servers the higher the chances that I run into cheaters. And I am by no means a high ranked player, currently g4 and still run into cheaters while I was in silver lobbies.
and I kid you not, they are even being unpunished in mixtape where you can obviously see that they are cheating bcs of the killcam.
Im in plat and ppl so dang toxic and all i see on enemy teams is preds and masters and solos is literally just sweats no chance of getting a 20 at all cuz soon as you kill they ape to ruin the experience 😒
My K.D. is around .6-.8 depending on the season. My highest rank ever is somewhere in gold. I've been playing since season 4 and this is one of the worst cheater seasons I've ever seen. So yeah it's a problem for us low level guys too.

I almost never faced cheaters in previous seasons probably because I'm not good enough( I hover around gold and plat) but this season even in glod lobbies are full of cheaters and it's concerning.
Most times I don't think the enemy is cheating but now since the re q option exits and when I spectate them they are blatantly cheating.
This is what happens when a group of people are constantly verbally abused . They cease caring if they are hated by those who are legit and lash out doing what they wanna do. and with no one being reasonable theres no one to dissuade them and it worsens.

My friend payed for Cheats they use to have a 0.08 K.D and now there at a 2.7 K.D and made it to Masters they brag online all the time, i feel bad that he now tbags people's box and tell them to uninstall..and constantly says get good..
I’m what I consider an average player (usually float in platinum, hit diamond a couple times and got masters during the free seasons), but I haven’t run into many cheaters at all since S0. Only saw a handful of very blatant aimbot and wallhack users in ranked. Maybe I’ve gotten so used to chalking weird deaths up to scan characters or AA getting a funky looking one clip so I just can’t tell things apart well unless it’s super blatant. Also will mention I’m on NA servers since some people say other servers have a ton of cheaters.
At the start of the season I saw a little bit of cheating while in lower tiers of lobbies but not much. In my last few game sessions of playing in mid gold I would say I say maybe 2-4 people I strongly questioned if there was cheating happening in 2-3 hours of gameplay of ranked. I would say its less prevalent than in the diamond+ lobbies but its already very discouraging and my expectation is for it to only get worse if I play more. I have actually sort of stopped playing apex right now in part because I am enjoying XDefiant but also largely the maps / cheaters / weapon meta.
The pick up a havoc or be havoc'd meta is defo very stale.

Its getting worse, I play mix tape alot and its cheater vs cheater out here. Aim scripts, walls, or hard locks, it dont matter. Movement is completely useless and efforts feel wasted. This is slowly going to become Titanfall 2

cheaters have been a huge problem since S19 (even before of course but for 3 season is a very big problem) now i find them every time i play in pubs too. devs needs to wake up or the game won't last another year.
It seems like it depends on time of the day. Sometimes i play soloq ranked (btw plat 2 now) and it is fine. And than i play with my friend and we get random teammates level 150 max (non prestige), mostly guys who are rly new and 5 of 10 games we die on wallhack or aimbot (full headshots). I dont mind harder games (if i dont get newbies in team).. But when you have like 5 of 1 games cheating and than lets say 3 of rest 5 you rly do something bad that costs you the game.. THAT is totaly demotivating to continue in apex this season.
