  • Canadian-grown canola generates over $26 billion to the Canadian economy every year. This crop also accounts for over 250,000 jobs and over $11 billion in wages, so it is no surprise to identify how important this crop is to Canadian producers. With a vast inventory each fall, Canada exports 90% of its canola as seed, oil or meal to many different markets around the world. The largest export markets are the United States, China, Japan and Mexico. Here you will see a Canadian grain farm that has the ability to harvest roughly 1,000 acres per day, with 6 different combines in the crew.
