I work in Australia. We wear shorts for 11 months of the year.
Rocking blue jeans in Texas
Lucky you... still wearing thermals in UK.
HAHAHA
Rain, hail or shine us Aussies will wear shorts anywhere 👍
Great job loving the new channel . Stay safe Chris.
As a ducty, I wear Riggs. I do a lot of sheet metal work, and I've never ripped them so far. I don't do the cargo pockets, mostly because I have my toolbelt on doing new construction, but they are awesome! Only pants I'll buy, and if they do rip, they aren't the most expensive things to replace. Plus my job gives us allowance every year, so I'm not really buying them myself
Great insight on a good selection of pants! Those 511 pants are great. I used to wear them when I worked at an aquarium and got splashed often. They are water resistant for a few months of washing which was nice while working in the wet environment. They are not winter pants though (Lived in MN) but like Chris said they work well in the summer much better than other pants.
Love the 511 tactical I wear those daily , definitely looking forward more reviews !!!
Good job in the video Chris and thanks for the great info
I've been wearing the Fire Hose Flex pants and love the cargo pockets. They are loose/stretchy enough I can load them up and still move freely, but tight enough that the tools stay in place. I wear the standard fit, but they made a relaxed and a slim fit. I have 5 pairs in grey and navy, and have been wearing them for over a year now. I'm starting to see some small holes on that from cell phone pocket, but I've been over stuffing them with tools as of late. I can change what I use those pockets for and the holes won't grow.
I'll look into those 5.11s for a summer pant. Portland isn't as hot as other places, but I'm acclimated to it and would prefer a more breathable pant when it starts hitting 70+.
511s are what I use for work. I love them for their pocket set up.
Can't wait for more reviews. Hvac overtime
I actually bought a pair of 5.11 pants on sale and absolutely love them for getting in and out of my truck, crawling around in attics tracing out automation, climbing ladders, and so much more. the pockets are nice as well. They are stretchy and breathable, probably the best pants I've bought for working. Sometimes the Dockers, Carhart, Levi's just don't cut it and get super hot and uncomfortable. I even have a pair of Mountain Hardware I used for fishing that I found to be super good for working on hot roofs and have nice breathable durable fabric.
HVAC Overtime! I'm going to have to grab a pair of those 511's & try them. You rock!
Just realized this is the Tools channel!! Nice !!
We use Mascot pants always get compliments on how nice they look , i have owned 5 pairs for the last 2 years and still look great love the knee pockets they are easy to use
Please be the next video about gloves. As you focus in technical functioning, which performs as desired. I usually carry two pairs as there's no one for all. BTW fair and honest review.
Thanks for the video, I'll have to try the 511 tactical Stryke pants
This video has been out almost a year and I just now finally got around to watching it. 🤣
My Redcap cargo pants have always worked pretty well for me, though in the summer I’m gonna need something quite a bit more breathable.
I currently alternate between the Wrangler Riggs in the winter and Dickies Tactical for the summer. I really like the Riggs because they are so sturdy they last a long time and can take the wear and tear no problem. They have a good amount of insulation so you can get away with wearing them without an under layer outside in the winter. But not so thick you sweat to death working inside.
The Dickies I am not so in love with. Like you said they fade pretty quick and the pockets aren't the best. I'm going to look into getting some of the 511 for my summer rotation and see how they work out.
I appreciate the unbiased reviews!
Hvac overtime 💪💪💪
I like the Key Foreman Ripstop pants. And the Key Bowman Flex pants. Both are far more comfortable than denim jeans.
my favorites are the 5.11 tactical strikes or the propper kinetics.
thanks for the reviews
Great information for pants
I really liked the 5.11 TacLite pants, but this last fall I switched to Duluth’s ultimate cargo. I like the exterior pockets for the knee pads. I’m not sure how much I’ll like them for warmer weather considering the material.
Hey man you are the best, I have been following your videos, I learn a lot from you videos, 👍
I like the Ridge Mountain pants, theyre thick, flexible and they're very durable. I also like the looks of them. I used to wear nothing but Carhartt but they're getting too expensive and wanted to change it up. I bought some Bernes but they don't fit right for me, but I just picked up some Keys and looking forward to seeing how I like them!
HVAC overtime. Winner winner!!
Ey the long awaited tool reviews 👍👍👍 Can't wait for the thermal cameras !
Btw , my OCD got proper triggered , mate , every single time you say " pants " I keep saying " trousers , trousers !!! "😅😅😅
Real nice tool channel !
I’ve always prefer dickies cargo pant they’re pretty reliable and it will last me little longer than others brands, thanks for reviewing and always appreciate it sir 👍
Glad my company gives us pant allowance .
Carhartt Rip stop Double front cargo pants are my go to.
Good work
Back when I had to wear black work pants I just started dying them to keep the color and get more life out of them. Felt like a waste buying new ones when they were just faded.
In Canada we require Fire rating. Bulwark is the pant of choice here. Thanks for the review
I have used 5'11 stryke in the military they are great pants.
great information
Great stuff again man!! It's Blåkläder for me from now on, best swedish quality, Tough, comfortable and hella versatile!
Nice! We wear cargo but they are provided by the company. I'm gonna look in to those tactical cargo.
Hey there Chris! great video, I just subscribed to your new channel. I am that guy that had removed that silver king unit and I met you in Menifee. I will keep an eye out for new videos here. I’m glad to support your new channel. Keep up the good work!😀
Hey bud hows it going, are you guys still working or completely dead? We are dead no work.......
Same here bud , no work for now temporarily. Waiting to get back on the bike. Hope it’s over soon.
That’s exactly how I wear my 5 11‘s. Although sometimes I put my OtterBox in the clip on my belt. You do have to turn them inside out to put the kneepads in and you have to take them out when you wash the pants or else they get warped. But once you get the hang of it it gets easier especially when you do it a couple times and the pads start to have a little bit of give and they slip right in and out.
Hvac overtime
I actually saw the 5.11 logo in a video a few months ago and researched myself which pants they were, didn't know this video existed.
But nice to hear your opinion matches my results from other online research.
Gonna buy some soon.
But by the way it's a bit hard to find this channel, mainly because it's not linked directly on your main channel, in that "related channels" section.
But only really a concern on mobile, and i usually watch your videos on the phone before bed.
Any suggestions on a good laundry detergent that takes care of that cooler funk but won't overly failed the pants
I need to get me some of these!
Very good stuff that must of took a long time to put all that together.
I’m a Commercial Service Technician who also runs linesets, low voltage, & commissions systems. I’m on a lot of construction sites and been wanting to try something other than Wrangler Riggs & Carhartt carpenter pants. I’ll be getting my first pair of 5.11’s & Dickies here in a month to see how they feel. Thanks for the reviews Chris
Right on bud!
Great review. Try some 1620 pants. You'll love them.
A year later and I still come back to LAPG Atlas teflon tactical pants with knee pad pockets that accept standard pads.
If your future video reviews are going to be like this, you are going to have another successful UA-cam channel. Great Job👍
Thanks bud I plan on continuing the same way with all the videos. Like my main channel I will do this my way and nobody will influence my content.
I wish my work pants came with cargo pockets . If I only lived in Moreno valley I would totally apply to work with you.
LAPG Atlas Teflon, plenty of pockets and flex. Pockets for standard knee pads. Leave the pads in while washing.
Good job 👍🤘
If I can, I do only fruit of the loom, let the boys breath. 😓
Wash and dry them inside out. They won't fade so fast.
Glad to see the 511's come in larger sizes.
A tools channel!!awesome!! 😎😎
Company buys pants for us🤷🏽♂️
Carhartt great pants
Love me some Duluth Trading Co pants!
I usually alternate between the Fire hose flexs and the carhartt mens rugged flex relaxed fit double front. The carhartts are much thicker and do not breathe as well as the duluths. You probably wouldnt like them since its warmer climate most of the year for you
Looking forward to the future tool reviews #HVACovertime
HVAC OVERTIME. NICE VIDEO
I've used the Dickie's double knee. Gives my knees an extra layer when kneeling on the job.
You almost got me and other people don't follow instructions work with I do know not to worry about me the work for you and follow all the instructions you give me on the other phone struggles own look or should my pants and a shirt
@@fredjones3135 are you on meth?
Nice new channel!
Great review, but for me each one doesn't come with everything I want so I just buy a style that I like and customize them to fit
Thanks dude! Could you do boots next please.
Boots and gloves sound like a good idea
Have you ever tried the Duluthflex Firehose coolmax paints?
nice pants. like dark color one.
HVACOT BEST LIVE STREAM PERIOD🤘🤘
If you do a round 2 please consider Truewerk and 1620 Workwear
HVAC Overtime!
Hawx rip stop flex pants are great very comfortable not too thick either bothers has them
HVAC OVERTIME!!!
i love the 511 brand, definitely worth the investment
i love my wrangler 5 star jeans tough as heck
Glove review would be awesome
you should make more reviews
looks cool on you.
Just ordered some 5.11 pants
HVACR Overtime!
Hey Chris do the 511s shrink after washed ? Thx
I have a pair of the dickies cargo slim fit pants by far the most comfortable and fitting work pants I own. I have a pair of the 5.11 tac pants which I do like but the dickies to me breathe better and are more comfortable. My work makes us wear Flash rated uniforms I won’t even go there. I wear back up pants on weekend work and side job stuff those dickies will definitely come in use up in a inferno attic.
Crazy never thought I’d be able to drive 80 mph straight from the 15 to 5 freeway in my lifetime. Stay healthy!
I just got a new work pants for my job for living and I doing construction work for living and they are call 5.11 tactical pants they could cost from 60$ to 100$ online but I got them for under then that at village and they have 12 pockets on them and so comfortable on
You should definitely start an HVAC fashion channel. 😆
You should try some Kuhl pants, the ryders
i like cargo pants wearing in work.i like your hvac r tshirt sir.

The view is lovely but I'd rather have been able to see the pants!
Hvac Overtime
I was the first to subscribe to this channel when it was only for pants😁
Helly Hansen work wear are the best ever!!
PS buy nee pads that slip into the pants
Oh forgot to add Hvac overtime 🤷🏻♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣
I just wear what my company provides me but I would love to win that testo manifold watch y'all all the time keep up the great work y'all
The firehose flex pants from Duluth are far different from the flexpedition the firehose pant are much tougher and made for real work
I subscribed even before Chris posted the 1st vid , watched this one when it 1st came out . I'll have a shot at the new Testo gauges give away even though I'm overseas so there's probably no chance I'll win but hey , one can only dream eh . So here it is : HVAC OVERTIME woohoo !
Great video just subscribed...
The company I work for provides work pants, but everyone works in his own workpants, since they are better. The one I use are also cheap ass ( 14 dollars) and they last longer than the expensive ones (mostly 3 years of extensive usages)
I'm a little confused why you think the flexpedition pants are so weak and are going to rip so easily? But you didn't mention any actual damage to them? I have a few pairs of them and love them... But not as dedicated work pants. They feel too much like a dressy comfy pajama pants to wear to work. Unless you work at a desk, or drive for a living. They'd be perfect for that. I use them for lounging, traveling, weddings, funerals, riding snowmobile, and if it's cold I wear them under bibs. But with all that said, I've had some for several years and never damaged them...I think they're tougher than they feel. Nice video!
Like 511s in blue
hi, guys. how can i purchase and add some details on it?
