Cutscene Final Smashes are some of the coolest things in Rivals. I’m hoping that more characters will get awesome Final Smashes in the future. Thanks so much for putting these compilations together
OHKO supers are okay, but only if A) it makes sense for the character to have one (such as Akuma with his Shun Goku Satsu) and B) it's implemented in a balanced fashion. I personally don't like it when people give modded supers for random characters that deal over 1,000 units of damage when it's so easy to hit raw (meaning without doing a combo that leads into it). A decent example is Marth and Lucina in Smash Bros. Sure they kill on one shot, but they only do 60 units of damage, and it's still possible to dodge the charging blow when they use it raw.
I haven’t played with this yet. Do you need a smash buddy in the match to perform final smashes, and how do you put them in the match. Do they work like a character?
Yes, although they may not be very good at using it. (The AI will use it when it tries to input neutral special, which depending on the final smash may or may not work well.)
I can't tell whether or not to be impressed by some of these. Impressed because of the quality or disappointed because you can see exactly where the ultimates came from.
