I have never yelled so much at the screen! TAKE THE WHOLE DAMN COLLECTION!!! Fat City were John Denver's friends Bill & Taffy Danoff. They co-wrote "Take Me Home Country Roads" and later transformed into the notorious Starland Vocal Band, known for their #1 "Afternoon Delight.". Bill Dan off also co-wrote the Emmylou Harris classic " Boulder to Birmingham." Seriously - that whole box was amazing. You passed up a lot of GOLD.
Hi Chris. I’m so glad you loved the records I shared. I wish I could take them all home. I took some of the gold and left a lot for the viewers and Ryan’s customers. Thank you for sharing all your great music history knowledge with us and the viewers. Your contribution is well appreciated. ✌🏽
Great Cure remix album. Lots of classic titles by the band. 🙏for Rod. Always nice to come across a Chuck Berry album. Cool Cars bootleg. Those are some beautiful exotica covers. I love Bobby Womack. Take care, Steve
Thanks, Mark. The Car Boot sound quality is really impressive, far better than what I imagined. I usually pass on bootlegs because they always sound extra crappy to me. The Cars boot is a different story. 😃🎶 Yes killer tracks on Cure remix album! I’m getting old so more and more Exotica is finding its way into my listening rotation. ✌🏽🫶🏽
"Digging through a storage locker of records" is a drawn-out way of saying Heaven, haha. Some of my best days were spent digging through box after box my friend acquired from a storage locker on Long Island. We did well on eBay and Discogs, but I bought a ton for myself, too. The Lone Star album is good! Opens with a cover of "She Said She Said." Produced by Roy Thomas Baker. The one guitarist ended up in UFO.
@@JWD1992 Hi JWD. I’ve never looked forward to Mondays until now. Digging in this Storage Locker is absolute Heaven. It’s great to hear your friend had a similar experience. It’s really difficult to control one’s self from taking too much home lol. I let someone else buy the Lone Star album. Thanks for filling me in about them. Glad you’re enjoying reminiscing. ✌🏽
Worth pulling that Sunshine Company lp. Sunshine pop so pretty pedestrian at times but the track Four In The Mornin' is killer with fuzz guitar and Free Design sound to it (it's on YT). It's a cheapie as well. Love that Astrid Gilberto on CTI....beautiful record. Cheers Nige
@@nigelcampag1290 Hi Nige! Great to hear from you. I have a copy of Sunshine Company already. You’re absolutely right about Four In The Mornin’ I definitely added the Gilberto Turrentine album to my collection. Astrud is a favorite of mine. You know all the good stuff 👍🏽👍🏽✌🏽🙌🏽

That was a lot of very nice records at the start the. It went down hill for awhile but picked back up toward the end. Amazing what you keep finding
I’m still waiting for the day when I’m disappointed in what I dig up. For now I’m enjoying the nice return on our investment.

The Chuck Berry in box 1 is a goodun if it's a black label.

Lone star is country

Lone Star with two words I believe will fit in pop or rock category
