I think infernape might be a surprise in pre release. If they put rare candy in the deck you can do 200 on your second turn going first. And there are no water Pokémon in the set that can do 70 damage easily
the last prerelease was a big pain for Feraligatr because it didn't have rare candy
There definitely won't be rare candy In prerelease 😅 but good idea
@@raddeangamming i had level ball in my prerelease kit lost origin
@@raddeangamming There is actually. I saw st00ben pull one from his build and battle deck
@@kyleneeley1 I saw that like 10 minutes after I responded to this and was like well damn 😳 😅 😂
I think Froslass could be pretty good in pre-release. If you can get a couple out that's a lot of damage that adds up quickly in a pretty slow format.
Put it with vulpix vstar and you'll become unkillable
Froslass and Thwackey should definitely be swapped. I don’t see any way the Froslass will actually be in a meta deck, but the Festival Grounds Dipplin deck might see some placements, and especially Festival Lead Control could potentially be better than Pidgeot Control (have Swirlix or Goldeen in the active and 3 Thwackeys on the bench, and you can search for THREE cards every turn. And it’s a Stage 1, not a Stage 2. No need for the stadium)
For Pete's sake Ross! Infernape has an IR too! His was the first one revealed and it's amazing!
Hell yeah
I love inferneape! Even if it isn't the most competitive I think it will be used in some fun rogue decks with earthen vessel.
I'm building a deck around this! Entei V is will be in it.
What's y'all thoughts on this set ? Personally I like the whole theme of the set and the competitive cards!
I think its the next rebel clash...
I also quite like the set. I believe we may be in the minority though…
Almost totally indifferent to it tbh. But i love prereleases so i'm looking forward to playing!
💯
mid tbh
Coalossal was better than Infernape. It attached from the _Discard,_ not the Hand. That means you can use Coalossal in things like Raging Bolt without relying on energy recovery cards. In a format with both Charizard VMAX and Urshifu VMAX, that was great if you could pull it off.
My main deck is tinkaton (currently slowly getting max rarity of it) but as a second deck that I can play at locals from time to time is definitely gonna be the dipplin thwackey because I find the idea of it neat so I'm definitely going to try and get the pre release promo for thwackey
More Dudunsparce!!
I tried to predict what the decks were going to be
I didn't expect Tatsugiri to be a deck, I expected it to be like Cleffa in obsidian flames
I predicted revavroom, infernape, festival lead, and the loyal 3 were going to be the decks
how do you find pre releases
Infernape also has an illustration rare👍
Does infernape’s ability stack like iron crown ex’s ability?
I passed out by how amazing the Secret Rare Infernape
Only going to see play in lost box unfortunately maybe other decks that play alot of switch maybe charizard cause it can put a fire energy on it for evolving
I'm hoping to eventually get Greninja ex.
is it worth doing the prerelease if im saving money?
From a community perspective, I think prereleases are the most fun you can have interacting with your local game store community. Lots of people come out of the woodwork to play with the new cards.
As someone who like playing the not so good Dondozo deck. Tatsugiri is my answer
I never pull the one I want so I'm calling it now I'll get Infernape
Where can I get the prerelease cards
This weekend local game stores should be running tournaments where you pay £30, get this pack and have to do some battles. then you get some more booster packs at the end
tomorrow is the prereleas and i am praying i won’t get that Infernape
Why do you speak in a news cadence? I promise I’m not trying to be a troll, I’m just genuinely curious. Great vid, thanks for the info bud!👍🏼
Just a warning to all new players. Don’t invest in future box. You won’t top against competitive players. Your better off investing in your own future
I dont understand how a green mask can be classified as a Pokemon?
It's not ogerpon is the pokemon and the masks are 4 held items in the VG and each mask changes its type
How about 3 magnets stuck together? Or a ball--with EYES! Shock and horror!
/s
@@2mccue4u27 you got me there... xD
Bruh have you not seen Klefki?
Kleffkey, bronzor, klingklang... the list keep going.
Guys... tatsugiri's surf need a FIRE energy AHAH PLEASE surf fire move? C'mon TCG 🤡🤦♂️🤦♀️☠💀
Dragon energy costs are based on their colour scheme most of the time
@@Jake-NerdyUpNorth is random and totally no sense like the most of stats , attacks and hp of the ptcg cards
@@ManuVentu you’re just wrong on this one buddy. It’s based on the Dragon’s colouring as close as they can get with the limited colour palette.
@@Jake-NerdyUpNorth sorry I'm italian but I repeat is no sense making the move of the dragon pokemon same energy type of the color of it! Completely stupid. Why don't they do things like games and reality?
