I have just started the preparation for JAM , I'm currently reading cell biology by lodish , it's time consuming and i have only 1 year now..... should i go for short notes or just continue reading whole books according to syllabus ?

Once these membrane lipids are synthesised at the ER how do they then get to the plasma membrane? are they contained within a vesicle or do these bud to form a vesicle to be implanted into the golgi and/or other endomembrane components?

after the phosphatidylcholine is flipped do vesicles then take it from the lumen and then transfer throughout the cell?

Cool. This is what I was just looking for after a class instroducing the phospholipids. btw, I noticed that the Diacyl glyceraol has more double bonds (e.g. at 7:22 of this video), and is there any related video/material about them.

Cool@@animatedbiologywitharpan I have shared this with my classmates (and also Professors and other class members, in the same slack group). So, woul you like to answer my questions later?

Diacyl glycerol can have various fatty acid chains attached to it, it could be saturated or unsaturated. Depending upon the dietary input of fatty acid there could be more unsaturated fatty acid in DAG or saturated. In Mediterranean diet there is a lot of omega 3 fatty acids and these are having double bonds...so obviously people who are growing in Mediterranean diet their body would have more double bonds in DAG

Having more double bonds makes the membrane more fluid. In order to know more take look at this video about membrane fluidity ua-cam.com/video/tvMwO02jO3o/v-deo.html

Also , how can i practice numerical answering questions coming from bio ( physics , math numericals i can get ,
but bio , what type ? )? Is there a book for it or any hack or definitive syllabus .....i see previous year question papers , and bio numericals are different and seem hard ....
I hope you are getting what I'm to convey here bro
