Hi! I enjoyed this short interview. This poor man, looks like he is still traumatised as an adult! He had what is termed as “Poltergeist” activity, which is more common than you think! I have studied the paranormal for over 40 years, and this is because i saw ghosts myself as a child and teenager. I was scared but intrigued, so i began to try and understand what this phenomena was! In the past i have helped people who suffer with being haunted, and found it is not necessarily a structural haunting, it could be the land, or something as simple as buying from a second hand store, an item that has an attachment to it, that when taken home, awakens a haunting! Some people can get attachments, hitch hikers i call them, from various places or means, that wherever these people move, the hitch hiker follows them.
I have performed a few cleanings on people and buildings, and have collected numerous E.V.P phenomena, voiced that cannot be explained on the recordings. I have recorded voices who claim they are devils/demons…crazy i know, but its true! Thank you! Anna UK. 👍❤️
Uncanny is one of the best programmes the BBC has ever created. I love how Dany Robins presents it. This, for me justifies the entire licence fee. Along with some of the best dramas ever. I'm just making my way through the archive of Uncanny podcasts on BBC Sounds now, starting with The Battersea Poltergiest. First class!
Nothing justifies the licence fee, it is just wrong, but it could justify a voluntary subscription.
If you enjoyed this, I suggest you watch Ghost Hunters with William Woollard on YT. I think it's the best. It's an old series.

У меня конечно не было такого захватывающего опыта. Просто падали достаточно устойчивые вещи несколько раз на съемной квартире. Падали в моменты моего душевного волнения, как будто кто-то знает мои мысли. Утром приходишь на кухню, а дверца шкафа открыта. Ничего особенного, но все вместе это была пугающая тенденция. Не скучаю по той квартире.

I love how nothing happens. I hear footsteps what happen next? Nothing. I heard the toilet flush, who was there ? nothing. Nothing, nothing, nothing nothing. How scary. LOL

How come he and his mother are experiencing these very frightening experiences but both are keeping them to themselves? That seems strange in itself.

She was a night owl. She was the one walking around at night. Solved.
They kind of skimmed past that incident with the footsteps but you'd think he'd be asked if it could have been one of the other occupants in the house walking up the stairs. It would be the first thing that comes to mind.

Unrelated question - about wind up ⏰ alarm clocks [without batteries, of course]:
Is it strange for a wind up ⏰ alarm clock 🕒 to go off at a certain time randomly, not every night, without setting the alarm to go off at all?
I knew a widow that thought maybe her husband was trying to tell her something. Seems to me that her daughter would find out she was pregnant soon after the alarms. She had several babies.
There must be countless reasons why an alarm clock might go off without setting it, ranging from extremely likely to extremely unlikely, but nevertheless-and this is important-completely explainable by natural causes.

He seems genuine so maybe he did see or experience something that has another explanation. But yes, all we've got to go on is this one person's word.
When they speak to the experts on this show, the lady says a ghost is more believable than sleep paralysis and all the other scientific things the skeptic suggests might have all been happening, at the same time, however what it's not more believable than is one guy just making it all up.
