The poster is expressing his annoyance at how the title has nothing to do with the content of the video as has become the norm on YT. When you have a title like "Scientist explains why ghosts aren't real", you expect more than just Q: "Are ghosts real?" A: "No."
And how is this guy the end all next all of answers to the universe? 😂😂 He speaks calmly and directly so you want to believe what he’s saying - but He’s wrong - very wrong!!

Why is there no stories of anyone ever seeing a Dinosaur ghost considering they ruled the earth for practically 90% of earths existence?!

They were on earth for like probably 1% of earths existence. There’s a figure that says that if the universe was put on a calendar year earth and the sun came in September and the dinosaurs existed for a weekend late in December. And we’re the the last second of December 31st

The dinosaurs were alive for about 177 million years, if you include birds for about 243. That is between 3.8% and 5.3% the age of the earth and only about a percent more for the history of life.

I beleive that the reason people see ghosts is because of the barn owl like most ghost sightings are at night and barn owls are nocturnal. Im pretty skeptical about ghost but there is a part of me that thinnks that the supernatural is real and ghosts do exist. But idk this guy says some facts but like my mother said "you cant trust everyone"

like waking up in the night and seeing a girl standing on your parents drawers praying. Bonus points for living in an old house that used to own the land where a pond was where a girl drowned. As an adult you can just say "well maybe I was having a very lucid dream" but for a long time I believe I did see a ghost, as I was too scared to just get up and touch the thing to check. My mum also said I used to unnerve her because I pointed and said "look she's there, can't you see her" at earlier occasions which I don't remember myself.
Science isn’t about facts, it’s about what seems to be provisionally true until disproven.
To say science hasn’t proved ghost are real doesn’t mean they aren’t real, it means we done have sufficient “scientific” evidence.
Science is evolving understanding, so it’s foolish to cling onto science like a religion.

There’s absolutely no reason and no possibility to believe in anything supernatural like ghosts.
In every single investigation of ghosts, it’s been thoroughly debunked as nonsense. People make up imaginary claims because they’ve been deceived or they themselves are trying to fool you.
Ghosts have yet to be proven to exists, so in a practical sense we can reasonably say they aren’t real. Especially when every investigation of supernatural activity has resulted in a debunking.
Nobody has provided any evidence for anything supernatural, so the claims of them aren’t going to be believed.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. If you have evidence that the laws of physics were momentarily suspended, then please provide them so we can investigate them.
We don’t waste time on silly nonsensical magical claims because they fly in the face in everything that we understand about the natural world which has been rigorously analysed and peer reviewed, yet not one instance of the supernatural.
Claims of the supernatural are as preposterous as saying that there are fairies in the bottom of the garden. I have an extraordinary high degree of certainty based on my understanding of the natural world that there very likely isn’t any fairy’s in the bottom of the garden.

Considering the age of the universe roughly 4+ billion years, and the amount of galaxies with earth like planets, ot would be naive to believe that we are alone in the universe.
But here is a question for you, since man arrived as we know humans 300.000 years ago, how come that every square inch of the planet is haunted? Considering that billions of people have died in 300.000 years?

I saw a ghost in 2006. I was 16 at my friends house.
I never believed in ghosts. I’ve never been to church.
My friend and I are 34 years old now and we still get hives when we reflect back on it.
It was absolutely terrifying as teenage girls, but as woman we are quite fascinated.

The idea is called Panspermia. There are lots of papers and especially sci-fi books about it. Very interesting.
The thing that I think is cool when they talk about other "earthlike or super earth like" planets and they show a giant Earth with plants and stuff on them...even if there isn't any civilizations on that planet, I think it's cool just to know there are forests and trees and flowers growing with nothing to bother them. Species of plants we could never even imagine...and who knows...maybe ants and bees flying around...spiders hanging off a bush...idk... just an idea I've always enjoyed thinking about.

what he is eluding to regarding us attaching weight to certain beliefs is confirmation bias and magical thinking. It's a natural function of our brains to assign agency to natural phenomena we don't know the answer to, but there is none. The same goes for anything supernatural and God.

However you say if you burn a book all the information in the book becomes radiance which who knows can be turned back into the book l, so when a body dies all the radiant heat which escapes the physical body could somehow imprint itself in the atmosphere at the physical shape of a former person
He actually didn't dismiss ghosts. in fact his response was more of a question sounding a little unsure. he also stated "as far as we're aware" which is the same language used in reference to Aliens. but the answer of the afterlife could also be humanities importance to alien life forms.
For all we know spirits and the after life could be exclusive to humanity. We are walking electromagnetic energy, that energy probably remains after death making us technically immortal. if this is a trait exclusive to humans then I don't really know what that would mean for us in terms of aliens.

I have always been an atheist (sorry) and have never believed in life after death - I'll always go with science. However, two things fascinate me - one: how did life get here in the first place (through evolution) and two : psychics, my wife sees them and some of them come out with stuff that could never be picked up through extensive social media research or general conversation - I'm a sceptic but some things just can't be explained. Fascinating stuff.

Obviously "god did it" doesn't explain anything but for many people it makes reality easier to digest. They are also often raised with this belief, making it a part of who they are.

Ive seen things that apartly are not possible like a main switch on my wall that supplied my fridge with power would switch of sometimes, it would do it in front of me on rare occasion as well and when i spoke to an electrician he said that was not possible and he couldn't do anything about it, he was chalk white when it done it in front of him.

people make confusion, there are several fields of science, you call a guy who deals with cosmological science, it's normal that he doesn't know how to give you a concrete explanation for the paranormal because he studies it, the paranormal requires a lot of attention and years, many scientists or focused on living organisms nature cosmos and human development and evolution, and not about something that no longer has a body or form ..... look for a paranormal psychologist a scientist who dealt in this field, do not look for other profesors from other fields, because there won't be a concrete answer. he doesn't study the paranormal, you don't have any logic, and one more thing, once you die, you spread like energy, you don't stay in one place, the fact that you no longer have a body that you possess, then you spread, but not only in that place where did you die 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

@@donnaw4249 They don't just decide to go on holiday like living people. Most of them are trapped here and drawn to dark locations or objects, they have an association with. 'Dark' as in dark energy, Orbs are bolts of energy and shadows are manifestations, so they can interact with the physical world.
People always ask physicists these questions about God, afterlife, all the supernatural. These are not the people to ask about these things. They are observing and predicting the behavior of very fundamental pieces of our perceivable existence. They are among our most intelligent people and they barely have a grasp on those topics. The more they learn about them, the further out of reach those other answers become.
So how are we to question supernatural things? Just believe what alleged ‘men of faith’ say? Just believe all the stupid videos & movies made with special effects? You know how utterly idiotic that sounds and IS? Serious question. Don’t just hide behind thousands of years of justifications & crap: all we’re asking for is definitive proof, however small, not hearsay elevated to dogma.
Who are the people to "ask about these things?" Who would you suggest are the qualified? Priests, clairvoyants? There is no evidence at all of spiritual existence! So who are these people?

@@MarkMutt93 It’s so cringeworthy! I believed in ghosts as a kid. I was even convinced that I saw some, and had paranormal encounters.
Then again, as a kid, I also thought that I saw the tooth fairy’s footprints, believed in Santa Claus, and once thought I saw heaven while watching a beautiful sunset, and clouds that were shaped kind of like houses.
But then I grew up, became interested in science and logic (and began striving to make sure that I am being as objective, scientific, and logical at all times), and finally understood that my previous encounters were due to a combination of what I had been raised to believe in, and my own imagination, rather than proof that any preternatural beings actually exist.
It’s crazy just how many adults cannot separate pseudoscience from science, and myth from reality - and don’t even understand the difference between the two. It’s even scarier to think that these people vote.
It’s a wonder that we’ve managed to get this far as a species.

Remember when we thought the Earth was the centre of the universe and everything revolved around us?
That was once considered a fact. It was also considered blasphemy by the Church to suggest otherwise. Galileo found this out the hard way. When he was excommunicated from the church and placed under house arrest for saying that maybe the Sun was the centre of our solar system and everything else went around the Sun. Ghosts are real and it’s absurd to think we are alone in the universe is foolish. Just because we can’t comprehend it in the dimensions we see, doesn’t mean that life isn’t around in a higher dimension world that we are unable to see. Ghosts and paranormal spirits are absolutely real and they can be picked up in the same way that we can pick up when someone is looking at us; it’s called sensing the energy. Science is very basic considering how much is out there that we can’t yet figure out or comprehend.
