- The much requested Dog/Wolf paw tutorial! :) In the video, I will show you how to construct the legs and draw out the paw pads. This works for all dogs with a little tweaking. Enjoy!

Very helpful. The bone structure was puzzling me a bit, but the hip bone makes it easier to visualize!
You got the back anatomy a little backwards. The part that you say is the knee is actually the hock, it's the same joint as a human ankle and moves in roughly the same way. The join you drew above that is actually the knee, and anatomically, it's at the same level as the elbow joint (not the shoulder). The pelvis on the back leg you drew connects to the leg much like you drew the shoulder, but actually, the pelvis has two parts, and the leg connects to the butt bone, not the hip of the pelvis. The part of the back leg that you say is the ankle is actually the ball of the foot on a human and moves in the same way. While you outlined it fine, it makes how those joints are supposed to bend a little confusing so I thought I'd clear it up.

She also added in an extra joint at the bottom that isn't there, didn't she? (Something that would be in equines, but not canines?)

Granted when I do I’m probably going to get yelled at by my friend for the style... she already caught me once watching your wolf body one and started say stuff like “ I develop my own style and figured it out by myself “ anyways Im starting to rant but again tysm for the video!

I just want to say THANK YOU so much for all your vids they have helped so much I've stuck with u since like ur 3rd vid :) i used to draw dog heads a circle erase a spot on the top draw two weird triangles then two dots for eyes a circle for the nose and no mouth. thx SO much uve inspired me a lot. now as u can tell from my other comments and my name i luv cats so much :) so could u either do a tutorial on a cat eye or cat legs? thx ;)

If a human breaks both knees and put it in a cast in a wolf back leg way will it fix to work like a wolf cuz if it does then im going to do that

Anatomically incorrect, but it works~ For example, the arm of the wolf, That's not how the arm connects from the shoulder blade to the elbow, it's in the opposite direction
The knee you were referring to is actually their foot, they're just standing on tippy toes, while the knees are actually the joint that lies up, just placed a little bit more down. but it's still quite helpful.
Could you show us how to do a cougar, or cat-like paws. Also a running wolf would be nice :D

i found out earlier last year that the anatomy and bone structure of a wolf(canine) and the human are almost too similar
That one circle is not the knee, its the heel. Wolfs and dogs has the heel higher.
