    This video came out at the right time. We should enjoy sharing and always focus on the positive and not the negative. Be blessed

    Yeah, like everything there's both the pro cand cons the yin and yang... but it's been a more positive impact on my life than negative and has made a positive impact for others in the process. Just uploaded some content with a short fun training video and fighting tomorrow and recording it, whcih will come out as content as well on my UA-cam channel. It's defintely great that content creation keeps you motivated and motivating others :)

    When you said the "the old man did when he was fit" 😅 that's so funny but so true! I agree I have kids and they enjoy watching me on UA-cam even though it’s fitness boring stuff, but it’ll always be there and they’ll be able to view it whenever and we all have something great to share and I enjoy watching your videos along with everyone else’s and I can’t get to making my content as much as I used to but I hope to get back to it soon. Thanks for always being an inspiration. It definitely shouldn’t be about going viral and all that other stuff but more so just concentrating on the progress you’re making and feeling like you’re reaching goals

      O yes i miss the shut down days where we had so much more free time but yes just do what we can and get back to it when we can. Thanks for the constant support and keep the fitness lifestyle going on your end!

      Yeah, my son's a little young I feel for getitng exposed to some of my martial arts content, but I think and hope it will be fun and interesting for him in the future... pretty sure it will, he's already seen a few videos, but isn't too aware of my UA-cam channel :)

    That is a great way of looking at it. I have always been obsessed with views and watch hours and as such I’ve come to consider my channel a failure due to a paucity of these. However, I think with your perspective I will take a second look at making videos and maybe not put so much pressure on myself. Thanks for your excellent advice!!

      yeah, forget all that, use yt as a tool to record what you feel like keeping on the internet.

    Loved this vlog. I agree with a lot of what you said. It is like having a visual diary. It is funny to look back and see the progress and the memories attached to that journey are still personal, even though you are sharing content publically. One good thing for me is the personal growth that comes with making content, is the skills that I have learnt. If I didn't start, I would not have learn how to edit, and researching and buying eqyuipment like microphones and lighting. I get to push myself out of my comfort zone by trying new things. I am enjoying my journey. I also get to connect with people like yourself and other great content creators. And I think, hopefully it inspires other people to come out their comfort zone and try something that they want to do but nervous about doing. Of course, hopefully people enjoy our content. Hello to all content creators and for those thinking about it

    I have stopped creating content for a few weeks now because of time constraints. When I retire next year, I hopefully, will do more again.

    I totally agree! I always imagine people in the future finding my channel as historical media lol. I do it to keep track of my music stuff…but I started during Covid too, to make connections and kill some time!

    Comment 2: in response to your question, I started creating content because I wanted to entertain and inspire people and make people laugh. My goal was (and is) to present topics, accounts, and information in a unique manner that will stand out amongst a sea of conformity. The downside to this mission statement is that with how long it takes to make these videos I never gained the traction that I would normally have if my posting was more consistent. Currently I am looking at maybe simplifying my approach for some videos and then releasing bangers whenever I can. Anyway I really enjoyed your Vlog and thanks again for sharing your wisdom!

      Yes that sounds like a good plan! Appreciate the on going support here! I like to do vlogs because it gives me time to practice and yes being so busy sometimes it give me some type of content I can make until I have time for more planned out videos

    Ditto. Yup. To record what i can do in my 50s and now a videolog of my food recipes for my kids as well as where we've travelled to. as far as if it will be "forever" ..we dunno that lol...we hope so. but hey, myspace is gone, and countless other websites..so we shall see...

    • @TheTattooedRonin
      @TheTattooedRonin  2 місяці тому

      O yes true myspace for the most part. My old page is still there. Even if utube goes away a digital forensic team can easily find old videos even if utube shuts down there will always be some remnants of it online especially in the future. And yes food vlog with recipes is a great thing to pass down
