- Fighting game tournaments are everywhere and anywhere, and can be an amazing time. But can take a bit to get used to, but don't worry Scrappy is here to give to the tips and trick to have an optimal fighting game tournament experience. No mater if you play Guilty Gear Strive, Tekken, MeltyBlood Type Lumina, Street Fighter, or whatever.

Gonna add to one of your points, if you cram yourself into one room with friends bring an air mattress and ear plugs. I learned my lesson at CEOtaku, no sleep and my neck still hasn't recovered.

Been into fighting games for years, since i was a kid actually and the idea of joining a tourney always excited and spooked me. 2020 made me realize im tired of missing out on these experiences so thank you for teaching me the basics, im going for it and finding some gg strive locals
Getting your friends involved is also a comfortable way for beginners to experiment with all aspects of growing as a player! Spamming buttons with multiple characters was the best way for me to discover my play style, explore training, learn bnb’s, etc. Awesome video dude :)
Great video; I want to start attending some fighting game tournaments (a New Year's resolution of mine), so this had much of the information I needed.
It likely won't be until Street Fighter 6 comes out, but I'm looking forward to playing in some events.

Shoutout to fgc buffalo, started going there around a year ago and only have great things to say about it, people are nice, the weekly is always cool and I got to go to my first regional tournament a few months in, one of the best experiences in my life.
Haven't been able to go for a couple of months but this video got me wanting to go back, keep up the quality work

Found myself! I was working at CEOtaku and wanted to see who I could see. This video is great, a great idea, and touched on everything people would need to know.
To add to one point which is clothing, as someone who attends a lot of events, comfortable footwear is a must. You will go to events at hotel convention areas with carpet everywhere, but you''ll sometimes be in convention centers that is just concrete. There's a lot of standing and there can be a lot of walking, you may want to leave for food or go back to your hotel room for a moment, the steps will add up.
