Huge fan of epik high and tablo, and was listening to old songs all night and just realized that the guy in the MV is Otani Ryohei who've I've just become a fan of recently because of Roommate and cool kiz on the block 😆😆 and another coincidence is that i watched an old kdrama tv series last night called "Soulmates" that I originally watched back in 2006 and Ryohei was in it as well!!! Ryohei i've been seeing you everywhere since long ago and didn't even know it! Lol
He didn't do anything. He was accused of faking his bachelor's and master's degree from Stanford University because he got them in such a short amount of time (3.5 years in total) and was accused of pretending to be a Dan Lee (his real name) that actually graduated from Stanford. Even after showing his transcripts to the public, and doing a documentary where he goes back to Stanford and has the administration, former classmates and professors prove that he did actually attend and graduate from Stanford, hundreds of thousands of netizens said he was still lying and sent him and his family death threats. His brother (who lost his job over this) and mom even got calls from people threatening to kill them because people weren't only accusing Tablo, but accusing his entire family of faking their achievements for decades. Literally anyone who supported his claim and said they were friends with him at Stanford were called liars and received threats. It got to the point where he was afraid to leave his house or take his new-born baby to the hospital because he didn't know if the doctors and nurses were one of the accusers who would try to harm his baby. It was eventually confirmed by police that he was telling the truth and that the accuser was some 57 year old man from Chicago who - if I remember correctly - was just jealous that a rapper achieved more than his daughter (I'm not 100% on this last point though). Even after the witch hunt, there were still over 30,000 people who said even the police were lying to cover up for Tablo. In my eyes, he literally went through hell all because he was smart, and people couldn't accept that he could achieve so much more than them.
