I just received mine in the same color. I enjoy the Donegal flecking and slight herringbone pattern and as you say, it is quite warm as well. Spier & Mackay make quality pieces for an affordable price across the board.

@@deepsix1827 I also got the Balmacaan recently and it's amazing. The fit is perfect and range of motion is great. It's extremely warm. I am between a 40R and 42R usually (rarely a 44R), and 40R was perfect.

yeah, looks great as a bodycoat with its closer fit. not every coat has to fit a jacket underneath it ofc. imo, some of the most flattering outfits are more slim fitting bodycoats like this + a simple turtleneck sweater or shirt/tie.

Agreed. I've been having them tailored accordingly. Only enough to fit a slim fit leather jacket underneath. Not a bulky one.
