- Elon Musk has detailed how his companies contribute to the good of humanity after a reporter questioned him about why he didn’t donate the $US44 billion to charity instead of purchasing Twitter.
People should worry more about what politicians do with OUR money, rather than what Elon does with HIS money.
Exactly.
Excellent freakin point!!!
BOOOOOM!!!!!!!

Donate to charity??? Like blm to buy more mansions
Buying Twitter was a charitable act. He's giving aid to victims of censorship.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This is actually true.
Very true, the left woke media is the one after him with this silly vague accusations and questions
🤡
Like give it to biden or Clinton foundation...get real
A large international organization once asked him for 6 billion to "completely solve" world hunger. He said Yes, as soon as they laid out how the money was going to be spent. They couldn't, so he didn't. So many look to other's money as a solution to problems they don't understand.
Pretty sure they had answered him on how it could be done. Might be wrong tho
@@dansrod5952 No, it was only going to solve hunger for like 1-2years. Most hunger now is due to political decisions, rather than famine.
@@dansrod5952 They answered him by disproving themselves. They could feed people for a year, then they're going to need more money because they don't know how to SOLVE the problem, only stick on bandaids. Good thing their budget is many times more than they asked him for, they should be able to solve hunger for several decades based on their budget THIS YEAR...
It's his money. A befitting response to these critics should have been "don't tell me what to do with my money". Imagine spending over 20 years to building a fortune, only to be told by a nerdy 16 year old behind a computer how you should spend your hard earned cash.
It’s worse than that..the SAME people telling everyone to give their money DO NOT GIVE ANYTHING! They demand you do it when they themselves DONT. They are delusional pathetic losers
If he donated 4 billion to charity half of it wouldn’t make it to people that need it but end up in the pockets of executives and board trustees.
Half is generous. Usually it’s only around 10-15%.
@@toosense yup, almost all charities are set up as tax write-offs, and are completely tax deductible, they are a scam. It's best to help those in need directly, knowing it won't almost entirely go into administration and overhead.

He already has. But those critics are literally like hungry wolves. Even if he donated 1 billion dollars to his critics’ choice of charity, they will not rest until he’s penniless.
Don’t give those people the time of day.
If he did donate to charity, I guarantee they would keep most of it and hand little to people who need it. He is doing a lot for humanity as it is.
Charity NGOs use at least 85% of money for administrative expenses. Charity is a way to write off assets for tax purposes. If you go to philantropic websites they do not ask you who needs help. No. They have a form so you donate them money. It means they are rich and still they want your money.

@@arnoldsmith982 he would have been better off setting up his own company to distribute food and necessities to the needy.

They have a GENIUS in front of them... AND THESE ARE THE QUESTIONS THEY ASK?!
Making twitter unbiased is at the moment probably the best gift he could give mankind.
You really believe that? lol
@@jonathancorcoran9427 : Without freedom of thought and the ability to say what you think, everything else would be poor compensation.
@@jonathancorcoran9427 You really dont? Lol
Looool just be quiet 🤡🤡
It just twitter, you agreed to their terms of service when you downloaded their app. If you dont like it, just dont use it
There is no greater charity than protecting freedom.
That's has to be the proudest mother in the history of humanity and human civilization.
I’m not a billionaire but when anyone tells me how to spend the money that I’ve earned, they get the theoretical boot from my life. No one needs that negativity in their life.
Great response. Agree
If you think that anybody in the world, ANYBODY, can “earn” billions... then you are really naive.
@@kencur9690 if you think you are qualified to pass such judgment on people, making blanket statements, you are the problem and you shutting up is the proper solution.
@@strictnonconformist7369 or rather you shutting up and getting a brain is the better solution. That might help with not being naive, or at the very least, by staying quiet, you would not show it.
@@kencur9690 ok so i am kinda intrigued by your comment. So what, you're telling me that there are no billionaires in the world? Or that Elon Musk and Bill Gates and Jeff Bazos isnt really billionaires? How do u think they got their fortunes? I mean, these guys invested, made PROPER investments and got lucky.Whats yr theory?
You dont solve a problem just by donating money. He uses the money instead to provide real solutions
Elon is my hero. I wish I could shake his hand and say thank you. 🇺🇸
Money donated to charities are usually gobbled up by the charities infrastructure... Very little actually goes to the proposed cause.
Yep. You hit the mark
Less than 10% in some cases!
@@paulorchard7960 : BTW, look at UNHCR. A high level bureaucrat once told me after I had written dozens of letter that the only way I'd ever get to meet a UNHCR executive is to "travel first class and stay in 5 star hotels". He was dead serious.
Absolutely right.
But, it's tax deductible.
He literally ONLY uses his money for philanthropy. The fact that hes made more money by doing that just further proves how legendary he is.
i think people should always capitalize HIS MONEY whenever they talk about musk
The purchase of Twitter was in fact a donation to charity regarding all the persecuted, banned and canceled conservatives
dude has ZERO YACHTS, nuff said
Wtf this man is about the only "entrepreneur" out there who actually cares about humanity rather than just making money tf are people talking about?
Elon is one of the most generous people in the world. He is also, one of the most "under-celebrated" minds of this century. Imagine, the richest person on Earth really cares enough to spend his money for the benefit of us ALL.
most charitable donations just end up getting siphoned right into the pockets of those who run them
All except the Red Cross. The only one I trust. They do blood banks and help millions in disaster areas.
If the charity organizer has a nicer car than you, don't donate!
Elon is smart enough to build things that will last. He doesn’t just give away all his wealth for one time use that will help people for literally a moment. He is building companies that are self sustaining, actually contribute to the world economy, AND are for the good of humanity.
Well said. Make you wonder how many of these people give any money to charity.
Plus the corruption in many charities
@@firewoodtime2 true, I don't trust many charities. At least I know what Ellon is using the money for.
Good you See. I had very good friends in the eighties born on your Birthday, cool follow your truth and positivity.
Scolorships for young geniuses that want to follow in your foot steps. needy smart young people from broken homes. Give them a chance to feel good about there future. Yes that's a good charity.
Thank you Elon Musk for giving us back the freedom of speech.
It is his money he can spend it how he wants to. Those who are criticizing him should do what they can to help others if that is their concern.
“What is history but the story of how politicians have squandered the blood and treasure of the human race?”
― Thomas Sowell
The greatest treasure of which being our PERSONAL FREEDOM
I absolutely admire Dr Thomas Sowell.
He has researched his teachings very carefully. So he does not deal in superficial rhetoric. I wish more people would take the time to familiarize themselves with his research.
It would be helpful if his lectures were available on CD.
Of which the greatest squandered treasure is Jesus Christ. Thankfully, he used that to secure humanity’s salvation from this meat grinder.
@@Puma5, "God" does NOT exist
@@newmankidman5763 Sorry for you that you feel that way.
If I believe, and die, and I was wrong, and there is no God, I have lost nothing. It I am right,
I will be in Heaven.
If you don't believe, and you die, and there is no afterlife, you are ok. If there is an afterlife, you are in DEEP TROUBLE! You will be facing a God of Power and Might that none of us can comprehend. I would not want to be you on that Day.
People don’t need charity they need good paying jobs, and a robust economy.
China had high unemployment, and poor rice peasants in 1970. Employment went up dramatically. Same with Vietnam. Today vietnamese young people have cell phones and decent income due to low unemployment.
Great point, most people wont take charity unless they starving
And fewer corrupt crooks in government who steal and misuse tax payers' money.
Tell it to Biden. They don't need $5 diesel and inflation, either.
