    I wanna add something to the list, for girlies that wear tight shoes and heels a lot. Wear toe spaces whenever you can. Prevent those bunions or weirdly shaped feet that can be affected by tight shoes.

    • @PrinzessKennY
      @PrinzessKennY 7 місяців тому +2

      So in your case the redponse to a lack of space is to add even more that has to fit in the same amount of space? Aka make even less space?.

      @@PrinzessKennY Some women are strictly required to wear closed heels for work or even college (fem law students are expected to wear them here, no excuses unless you have medical problems like flat feet), and some feel uncomfortable by wearing shoes that aren't somewhat snug around their feet. Not to mention, silicone toe spacers are literally meant to be used as a prevention against bunions or to simply not let them get worse if you already have them.

    • @PrinzessKennY
      @PrinzessKennY 7 місяців тому +3

      @@mymomwantsmetobeadocter6870 this has to be a joke.. I see feet daily with the fast majority of them being deformed because of the wrong shoe size. Did you ever get a shoe done and perfectly fittet to your feet? The shoes people buy have to look good, they are standardized to make mass Production possible, our feet are not though, they are unique for everyone which is why said shoes barely ever fit a foot just fine. Pointed shoes never fit anyone and are known to cause deformity, yet they are a thing and still worn by many because of the look. If your shoes aint got enough space for your toes, taking up even more of that space aint a solution.. you dont even have to be a pedriatrist to understand it, it's simple math.

Maybe when the air and water and food were clean but unless you are living in a remote village, drinking unudalterated springwater and growing all your own food in non toxic soil, your kidneys and liver are workjng overtime. Add in all the chemicals we are exposed to everywhere, the endless injections of heavy metals and who knows what else, and all the carcinogens and endocrine disrupters and our organs are struggling.

    My dermatologist (Dr Murad who’s now retired) years ago told me that I need to have “bio-available hydration” via hydrating vegetables and fruits in addition to water - think cucumber, apples, pears, kale, all the melons, avocado, and adding chia seeds to melon water or kombucha like they do with Mama Chia. Cuz all plain water has to be converted by our cells to be barrier absorbable. And that takes up to 12 hours. Electrolytes help a lot to make them quicker absorbed but the best thing is to always include the veg and fruit.

    Regarding the water intake: Please inform yourself before you practice this and when in doubt ask your own doctor! There is a lot of info on how much water you should consume based on your weight. Recommending to only drink one liter a day is so dangerous because it won’t apply to everyone. It also depends on how much you drink at once. You’re not supposed to drink a liter at once since it washes your electrolytes out, but that amount stretched over a day is very very little. Taking care of your electrolytes on the other hand is a great tip.

    • @tahsina.c
      @tahsina.c 7 місяців тому

      "So dangerous" lol no its not
      Water intoxication only results from consuming _excessive_ amounts of water, as in 1 litre an hour, which is a lot. Your body is effective in signaling to your brain when youve had too much water and not enough essential nutrients in your body. unless you have an underlying health condition its unlikely that water intoxication will happen. Youre right that each body is unique but its hardly dangerous to drink a litre of water a day.

    Mewing: I changed my face shape in my late 30s within a year, my eyes brightened and I could actually breathe through my nose; it was uncomfortable at first but my nasal passages cleared allowing better airflow. It takes about 3 months of concentrated effort and then becomes natural.
    Castor Oil on toes: I don't like to wear polish often and putting castor oil on my toes a few times a week makes them look beautiful even when polish-free, and I don't get ingrowns anymore
    Cupping: reduce/eliminates cellulite and can even generate fat lysing
    Baking soda: add to toothpaste 1x a week, face wash 1x a week, body wash 1x a week, shampoo 1x a week
    Red Light devices, microcurrent devices, high frequency devices (Amazon, $50-$300)

Now I have the 'same' face from high school, just mature. As for helping to breathe better, also yes. Once your nasal passages clear and the airways expand, you get more air. When one keeps their tongue pressed against the roof of the mouth, you close the 'empty cavity' that is your mouth and more air actually gets down into your lungs. A relaxed tongue at the bottom of your mouth means some airflow ends up in the mouth, not lungs and then we open our mouth to 'get' more air.

    Lip liner- I outline and then completely fill in my lips with a slightly darker color than my natural one. As my lipstick fades I still have a beautiful color and defined lips. It also helps my lipstick last longer.
    Evening out skin texture- I swear by Bliss Incredpeels. I use them every other night before bed (it's a leave on treatment, not a mask or scrub) and it really helps loosen off any shedding skin so my foundation goes on smoothly & I don't get those shedding flakes that get highlighted by makeup. I also use Clinique's Exfoliating Scrub the next morning to slough off whatever it loosened. The average person would do this less than me-I have higher than normal cell turnover so I recommend starting with once or twice a week.

    Note to anyone trying the celtic sea salt thing - it will give you sodium. So will any other salt, and you do need some sodium. The other minerals present in Celtic Sea Salt, as with Himalayan pink salt or any other fashionabe salt, are in such trace amounts that they won't make any difference to your health unless you ingest enough of the trendy salt to give you severe blood pressure issues. Similarly, minerl water doesn't have noticeable health benefits if you've got a balanced diet, and if you have an imbalanced, unhealthy diet then mineral water won't save you from it. Sort out your diet and don't worry about adding stuff to your water. If you are looking for healthy minerals, get them from your food. You can probably get enough sodium from your food too. You don't need to drink your electrolytes and minerals unless you're exercising so much you're sweating loads out between meals, which is what sports drinks are for. Are you running marathons every day? Don't waste your money. The main helpful thing that cardiologist noted was that drinking way too much water can be harmful through flushing too much out just as drinking too little can cause harm.

    Does the sea salt really make a difference? Don’t we genuinely already have plenty of sodium in our diets? My guess would be most people are low on other electrolytes like magnesium and potassium.

    • @TheKarebear666

      @BeyondAestheticsAZ 7 місяців тому +8

      I’m a licensed and practicing medical provider working in cardiology. The answer is yes, salt does make a difference. In healthy people, without underlying comorbid conditions to be considered, salt is important. However, if you are concerned about magnesium and potassium, use Himalayan salt. Or consume a NON-distilled water product that contains these elements. However, what she is trying to speak about in this video is about how to get your body to actually use your water. Salt is necessary for cellular exchange.

      @@BeyondAestheticsAZthis doesnt sound like a great idea for people with blood pressure?

    • @BeyondAestheticsAZ
      @BeyondAestheticsAZ 7 місяців тому +1

      Actually, this is not completely true. I will try to be as succinct as possible to answer your concern. This is a complex topic. I will touch only on specific rudimentary points, as there of course is much greater detail to this for those interested in understanding the deep complexities of this pathophysiology. So, yes. For someone with high blood pressure, increasing sodium intake does affect the Renin-Angiotensin System. Thereby subsequently increasing blood pressure. However, during times of dehydration (which includes everyone, even those with an underlying diagnosis of high blood pressure) sodium levels can be low; and may need to be replenished. Think diarrheal illness and so on.
      In fact, there is even retrospective data that was released at the most recent American College of Cariology conference, which identifies that having too little salt in the diet has actually been associated with poorer outcomes for heart failure patients. As a side note, we intentionally lower the blood pressure of heart failure patients to decrease the work load of the heart. This is again a very rudimentary explanation, but I am just making a point. Meaning, there has been no positive benefit such as prolonged life and/or decreased hospitalization. In fact, when reviewing many thousands of heart failure patients, retrospectively, it has been the exact opposite. This was astonishing data that has just begun to undo years of practice across the entire healthcare system.
      So that said, if you have high blood pressure, increased sodium is not advised. If you have heart failure increased sodium is not advised. Especially heart failure exacerbation. Following a recommended daily allowance is appropriate for everyone. Even for heart failure patients (who are not in exacerbation). Unless that heart failure patient is nearing end of pump lifecycle and/or is currently volume overloaded. Whereas POTS patients actually require higher than normal salt intake. I mention POTS just to simply highlight an example of extremes.
      However, even patients with high blood pressure can, and do, experience low sodium. So, as you can see, it is not black and white or absolute in any way. However, sodium does play a role in hydration and electrolyte balance.
      Also, none of this discusses comorbid conditions such as underlying kidney disease. Therefore, this entire discussion is an open dialogue regarding hydration in solely healthy individuals who are dehydrated and without any significant underlying disease process; but is not medical advice. It is a discussion based upon the average healthy individual who does not have any underlying medical diagnosis/diagnoses. Additionally, this discussion is not directed medical advice for any individual reading this. Especially those individuals with underlying comorbid conditions.
      If you are in doubt about your particular needs, and are reading this content, please consult your cardiologist and/or nephrologist for further guidance and refrain from taking any guidance or advice from any social media content regarding your individual health, without first discussing it with your healthcare provider.@@tahsina.c

    I think it’s essential to put a disclaimer for your water advice. If you’re drinking natural spring water, then the electrolyte thing is NOT an issue at all. If you’re drinking purified tap water then okay. Also It’s so dangerous to advise something like this. And for people prone to hypertension? (You can get blood pressure spikes without having general hypertension). There are safer ways to get the minerals and electrolytes, EAT. YOUR. VEGGIES. You don’t need to add salt to water at all.
